Veterans Group Backing Ground Zero Mosque Has Soros/Obama/Democrat Ties

From NewZeal:

A high powered and well connected “veterans group” has issued a letter backing “Park 51”, the Islamic community center and mosque proposed for Lower Manhattan – the popularly known “Ground Zero Mosque”.

Who are these patriots, taking such a noble stand for the U.S. Constitution and the safety and security of America’s troops and citizenry?

While professing to be a non partisan group, it appears that almost all of VoteVets.org’s supported candidates are Democrats.

Also, many VoteVets.org personnel have ties to the Obama Administration, the Democratic Party, the Democrat aligned and the George Soros funded Center for American Progress and in one case, directly to the Soros Open Society Institute.

    Looks like George Soros sent one of his operatives to this site (TOMTHUMB). Funny how all liberals say the same things over and over again. Not one of them has an original thought in his/her head. Wouldn’t be surprised if they cut and paste all their ridiculous comments. This troll even managed to mention Bush in this article. I really do hope science is trying to develop a cure for Bush Derangement Syndrome as evident on TOMTHUMB’s posts it seems to be a pretty serious affliction that attacks the brains functions.       Fact: muslims, from north africa specifically, fought with the french and the english to beat the nazis. So i dunno which mufti you’re talking about that teamed up with hitler. In fact the ottoman empire was fought by independence movements from within, including the muslim brotherhood.

      Fact: sharia law applies to muslims. both judaism and islam are obviously more detailed on their disciples behavior than christianity now (obviously even for christians some sects are more strict than others). some elements of sharia law apply when you live in a pure islamic country. Obviously that doesn’t apply for muslims in non-muslim countries, where they have to obey the law of the land.

      Hopefully this helps your understanding of the situation.

    I support our troops and our veterans. However, just because a person is a vet or a a member of our armed forces doesn‘t mean they’re right or have automatic credibility. For example…

    John McCain is honored but dishonorable.

    How many of our troops and vets voted for Obama?

    Wesley Clark was a general but now a liberal armchair general.

    They don’t speak for this Vet! While I agree that they have the right to build, since they want to “build bridges with the community”, which is what their stated purpose is for this Mosque, they should move it further from Ground Zero. That would truly show the community that they were concerned for their feelings.

    Unfortunately the Vietnam Era Vets have a lot of left wing kool aid drinkers among them. I am a post-Vietnam era vet and I can’t tell you how many extra programs that Vietnam Vets have available to them. They have strong Democrat ties. When I go to the VA hospital it is easy to see the difference even when age is discounted. I don’t dishonor their service, only pointing out that they are different in the fact that they are mostly non-volunteers and represent a greater cross section of America.

    For every real group of people, such as veterans, women, children, parents, etc., seeking to be heard publicly, there is a corresponding polital lobbying group misrepresenting them. Does the NOW really speak for all women? or even a majority of women? Just as the NOW doesn‘t represent my wife’s beliefs, this veterans group doesn’t represent a majority of veterans. The louder they scream, the closer they are to defeat!

      I served two tours in Iraq (’04/’07), and have since separated. This makes me a combat veteran. I support EVERY American’s 1st Amendment rights. If you disagree with me, that’s fine, but to call a veteran an Un-American tyrant just because they support religious freedom is embarrassing. You may want to grab your bible, because some soul-searching is in order.

    This is disturbing…however, I think that this is hyped…not by Beck…but whoever wrote the article. It fits into their play on making police and servicemen the bad guys. I was joking on my e-mail list about how we could stop this…forget using our system of government. Imam Bloomberg has too many business concerns going up in the Middle East to pay attention to his constiuency. Instead…think about their law, Sharia. What is unacceptable to them by their laws.     During the Vietnam conflict we had great Americans like Navy Lt. Ltjg/Ens John Kerry (The ranks are what he claimed but his longieviety belies the fact he could have earned much more thab ens) I have always believed you needed to be American to join the Military, but activist such as those who defend such idiocy are like Senators who cast aside their unearnedMEDALs for political purposes. I have an inate distrust of those who fought for America yet are offended by our liberities and freedom. WHO IS THE NUTCASE?

    This has really gone on long enough with this debate and stillno response or answers. I would like to know how the process went in order for this mosque to be approved and who did approve it, the financial track record of how it is being funded, how a organization can obtain federal funds and/or credits while taxes are owed, how the Con Ed building was approved to be sold by the Public Utilities commission and so forth. Much more importantly, how does anyone believe that placing a mosque there is a tribute to the brave people who died there in that area? .
