Video Shows Early AM Fire Engulfing Fuel Area at Miami Airport

MIAMI (AP) — Firefighters extinguished a fire early Thursday that broke out in an area where fuel is kept at the Miami International Airport.
The fire was reported around 11 p.m. Wednesday and was brought under control around 1 a.m. Thursday, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesman Capt. Eric Baum said. There were no injuries, he said.
“It was a potentially disastrous fire,” Baum said.
Inspectors and technicians early Thursday were trying to determine what caused the fire and where it began. Baum said he did not know how many fuel tanks were involved in the fire.
The fire wasn’t near any runways or terminals at the airport. Only one flight was delayed for about 45 minutes because of the fire, which happened at a time when there are few flights, airport spokesman Greg Chin said.
Passengers should contact their airlines Thursday morning to confirm that flights are on time, Chin said, adding that fueling capacity is expected to be at 40 percent for early flights.
Airport workers were trying to restore normal fueling operations, Chin said.
The Perimeter Road entrance to the airport was closed, but employees could still access the employee parking lot. Motorists heading to the airport should to take either State Road 836 or State Road 112, officials said.

You can also bet that if it happened to be any member of any right wing group, the MSM will go overboard and scream headlines and pontificate endlessy on the “Far right radicals”. Remember, NBC (Nothing But Communism), ABC (Always Broadcasting Communism), CBS (Communist Broadcasting System), CNN (Communist News Network) and MSNBC (More S*** from Nothing but Communism) will tell only what they want the public to think, not the real story.
Personally, I hope it was an accident or equipment malfunction and nothing more.

All the news said was a traffic accident occurred…The whole area for several block radius was closed off with barricades and tape…we had to detour through side streets and neighborhoods…..That does not happen for a traffic accident…there were no helicopters…nothing…weird! Now the fire????Something stinks!
