Video: SEIU Protesters Take Over Bank HQ to Protest CEO

About 80 medical workers and their union representatives took two yellow school buses to the headquarters of ESSA Bank in Stroudsburg, Pa., last Wednesday. The SEIU demonstrators weren’t there to complain about the bank. Instead, they demanded to meet with bank president and CEO Gary Olson who also chairs the Pocono Medical Center board of directors.

SEIU represents the hospital’s service workers. A portion of the hospital’s 550 service employees — technicians, laborers, housekeepers — are currently on a three-day strike, demanding that management allow them to makes union membership and dues-paying compulsory.

Earlier this month, two SEIU members infiltrated an ESSA shareholders meeting on March 4, once again demanding Olson’s ear. Union members in that case were escorted out of the building by security.

Showing up at Olson‘s place of work is not a new agitation tactic for the unions who have recently stormed state capitol buildings and even shown up at individuals’ homes to protest. But what about all the other employees of the business just trying to do their jobs?

“We’re asking that Mr. Olson take five minutes of his time to talk to us. We‘ve tried to make numerous appointments and we’ve heard nothing,” SEIU representative Neal Bisno told one ESSA employee who asked them to leave. But when the employee insisted the bank was trying to run a business and would not tolerate the disruption, workers started to clap and chant more union slogans.

    How about forming a “Taxpayer’s Union” and demanding that government make union membership and dues paying NON-cumpulsory in America? After all, it is “The Land of the Free”. We should do it quickly, while we outnumber them.

    Politicians fears unions, because of their voting power; so our corrupt legislators suck up to union thugs and buy their votes with favors that we pay for, while getting nothing in return. We have to make The President and Congress fear non-union taxpayers, because we have the horsepower to vote them all out of office, if they don’t kiss our fannies… every single time we demand it. There aren’t enough union members in America to stop us if we “unionize”.

    We have the power – We have to start using it now!

      This Idea would have to be put on the ballot. Yes, even if all the seiu members joined the taxpayers union we could still out vote them. I’m sure it has a few bugs. But I like the Idea.

    Unions claim they support the middle class, but what is happening here? If they unionize the place, labor costs will rise above market prices, and the health providers will either have to pass that cost along to the consumer, or lay people off.

    Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of economics would understand that the only people they care about are them and theirs, and they are quite willing to stick their hands in our pockets to get a larger cut than the rest of us, without earning it.

    FAT SLOBS WITH PLASTIC OVER THEIR SLOPPY BOOBS PRETENDING THEY SERVE SOMETHING BESIDES FAST FOOD. Primary customers? Lazy azz union workers too lazy to cook at home. Union worker’s (by their own Face In Front of the Camera) are bedeviled with chunky wives. You have to understand the lady of the house position.       Was it TN or KY where the local police arrested the protestors and the bond was set at $2,000?

      I think that WE ALL need to call and write our local police chiefs and DEMAND that they arrest unruly union protestors and process them as any other criminal. If they are from another state, then their bail gets tripled, due to the flight risk.
      The upswing is that we could find out just how many of these people are bussed in from other states and this MIGHT discourage some of these low-lifes from participating the next time.

    Well, why didn‘t they stay and let the cops carry them off to jail like they used to in the 60’s. Unions need to busted wide open. Get rid of trumpka and the rest of the one world,no borders we want every thing creeps. There was a time when people in unions acted like human beings. They would strike the business they worked at. They did not tear up the Capital building, they did not injure others, and they did not disrespect and inconveniece other people. These people think they should be given anything they ask for.     This is just the kind of thing that Obama loves to see and hear about, how sad for our country. These people who are behaving this way are not aware of how they are being used, and if they are and continue to behave in such a manner should be fired. Let them start their our businesses and have thugs demanding wages that only drive up costs for people who if they didn‘t have a union covering they’re lazy asses wouldn’t have a job. Do any of these people look as thought they’ve been mistreated, do they look like they’ve missed a meal, who are they, who’s paying them and why?       You guys have to read Radical-In-Chief by Stanley Kurtz. In this book he talks about Saul Alinsky, the Midwest academy and the Left. The Midwest Academy is where Obama was trained to be a community organizer. Stanley talks a lot about these tactics in the book. Don‘t be surprise if they are also gathering at the guy’s home to put more pressure on him.

      Hmmmm,,,yellow SCHOOL Buses, huh?? Were they “PUBLIC” school buses? I hope the person who let them be used charged fees? and added the ‘rental fees’ to the general fund? Better hope so, that’s a serious issue on that one. I hope someone checks!!! Maybe someone who works at the school misappropriated them???? that maybe attended the SEIU demo?

      I’m sure they tried real hard and were real respectful when trying to schedule the meetings. The CEO probably new they’d turn it into a time for emotional lobbying. Also, why would you force people who do not support unions to pay for their pensions when it was the unions who misled them. People really need to stop being victims. Adjust there lifestyles and get back on the horse to keep riding hard. I know young kids who are tougher then these people.

      And just like every other time the board will bend over and take it. The situation got to this point by allowing this trash to speak. Just because someone wants something doesn’t mean they automatically have a place at the table. When they are literally dragged out and their necks are stepped on they WILL stop. There are only a few types of stimulus this kind understands the loss money, physical harm and death, if you use any one of them they will dance around like little circus animals, and that is all they are.

      If I were to make an edgeumacated guess. I would guess those yeller buses were public sKrool buses and were driven by public sKrool edgeumacated union drivers, and were done so w/ the approval of the teechas edgeumacated union.

      The irony of what is going on is this. American sKrool chirrens/chilluns being edgemacated by marxist teechas unions, then passed on to the universities, to be further indoctrinated by the likes of Angela Davis, Bill and Bernadine.and other marxist profs across the country.
      Then we wonder why the “Utes” ( a lil My cousin Vinnie movie lingo) of ameriKa turns out the way they are.
      All of them stupidly ignorant to be led by the ropes through their noses in the destruction of their country.

      Do the members of the SEIU, that are involved in these illegal disruptive protests, OWN these 2 YELLOW SCHOOL BUSES? Maybe someone should look into this little detail of their ventures a bit further? If these 2 YELLOW SCHOOL BUSES ‘DO’ actually belong to a Federal and State Funded ‘School District’, then their use of this mode of transportation is actually considered to be ‘Inappropriate Use of Federal/State Property’, and possibly could be a clue to other ‘Federal/State Funds being Misappropriated’, as well (by the SEIU members). If this is the case, then their little excursion is definitely not considered to be deemed a field trip for the school kiddies. Does anyone have any video or pictures of the arrival of these SEIU members to these protests and possibly footage of these 2 YELLOW SCHOOL BUSES?

      Seems ot me they were tresspassing. Why no thave them all arrested and taken away. Like public employee unions, hospital workers should be prohibited from striking due to the safety of the patients in the hospital. I am sure that there are plenty of people that would like those jobs if the SEIU members think they have it so bad.

      I have a problem with states thata are not right=to=work. I beliver everyone has a right to work but not a right to collective bargain or a in the case of unions the right to extract funds from wokers paychecks to ensure the union coffers are filled. If a worker wants to join a union that is fine. But, he or she should have to right a check each month for their union dues. Maybe some would think twice about membership wen they see how much they ar doling out to fat cat union bosses.

      Unfortunately, it seems that many people did not listen to the last few seconds of the video which explains why they are there. The person in charge of the bank is also on the board of directors for the hospital where they are on strike. He has refused to meet with the people from the hospital. It seems that they did this as a last resort.

      The Declaration of Independence was about the USA breaking away from a Tyrant. It mentions specific reasons why they were separating. We had to fight to gain separation. In hospitals there is a huge separation between front line care givers and board members who never see patients and are concerned only about the income they receive from the hospital. Unfairness exists when they receive huge increases in payments because they do not listen to the needs of employees.

      I am not saying that the demands of the SEIU were reasonable. I am saying that this appears to have been a last resort non-violent confrontation because management refused to talk to its employees.

      I love how the talking head was talking to the police to explain why they were there as if they could reason with the him that being on private property causing a disturbance made perfect sense and was just A-OK. Honestly, he doesn’t really give a crap just as long as they got out.

      Where is Obama condeming the action of the union few. The majority of the unions are good people and they need to condem this action also. Where is Obama on this bullying techique? The good union members need to come out against this agenda! The union member are being used just as the Dem base is being used for an agenda to destroy America.
