Vindicated: Texas Dad Who Killed Daughter’s Molester Will Not Face Charges

(The Blaze/AP) – Authorities say the Texas dad who beat his 5-year-old daughter’s molester to death earlier this month near Shiner, Texas will not be charged.

(Related: ‘He Got What He Deserved’: Texas Dad Beats His Daughter’s Molester to Death)

Officials said the Lavaca County grand jury met Tuesday and declined to return an indictment against the father in the death of 47-year-old Jesus Mora Flores.

The attack happened on the family’s ranch between the farming towns of Shiner and Yoakum. Investigators said the 23-year-old father ran toward his daughter’s screams after Flores allegedly pulled her behind some bushes and attempted to molest her. When he found Flores, he pulled him off his child and repeatedly struck him in the face and neck with his hands, ultimately killing him.

Emergency crews found Flores’ pants and underwear pulled down on his lifeless body when they responded to the 911 call. The girl was taken to a hospital to be examined and was released.

Authorities say forensic evidence and witness accounts corroborated the father’s story that his daughter was being sexually molested.

KTRK in Houston reports that the Lavaca County Sheriff’s Department played the 911 call made by the father after he beat Flores to death, however, details of the call were not made available.

A Texas civil rights leader recently questioned whether the father should have been arrested immediately following the incident and said he might have gone to far due to his “anger.”

“When does it move beyond self-defense,” Jim Harrington asked, director of the Texas Civil Rights Project.

If he was molesting my one of them when they were small I would shoot him again.

I had a relative who was a judge for many years in south Texas. He commented one time a defendant in his court had a defense of “some folks just need killin’”. I think he was joking, but if anybody ever fit that description, this guy did. The father acted within Texas law, and I never doubted the grand jury made up of common-sense Texas country people would come to this conclusion. Everybody acted properly, sherriff, DA, grand jury, and this father. As for the “minority” issue, it is also entirely possible the father is a “minority” also. I don’t think the DOJ will mess with Texas on this one, whether he is or he isn’t. Justice is supposed to be color blind. I‘m so glad they have succeeded in protecting the family’s privacy so far and hope they can now heal and get counseling for this poor terrified little girl.

Many times I have heard older men say “If there is no word for it, is it still a crime?” I say yes, a pervert is a pervert no matter what you call it and they need to be kept away from innocents.

Sorry, you had to deal with that SOB on that jury. Being a Spanish surnamed Texan, I am disgusted with the filth that is coming here and hurting and killing innocent American citizens and their children. I loathe them more than my fellow rednecks. Do you know why? We speak the same language and everyone pools us together. It’s not fair, but that’s how it is. The difference is that my people went to war for this nation were born here in South Texas through many generations. Believe me, Mexico has plenty of decent people, but they have no representation. They are losing their country to the cartels. We have no real, clean representation in this nation. We are going to look like Mexico soon. A complete and planned collapse.

In Spanish,“violar” is the generic infinitive term for rape. In El Salvador, Venezuela and Chile “ultrajar” is also used. “Estuprar” is the specific term if the girl is 12 to 18 years of age. I suppose in cases of 11 years and younger, you would need to modify the “violar” with the age: “Violacion de una menor de cuatro anos”, for example. “Abuso sexual” would be used in cases not involving penetration.

@YISKA8: Too true, and all that the evil ones need is for the good to do nothing. There comes a time when the good people need to stand up, fight back HARD and win against those who are souring the good name of good people.

Living in CenTex, I have plenty of hispanic friends, and I have to admire the dedication to God, Family, and the USA they show as well as their work ethic. All it takes is a few bad examples to stain the entire community. I have a few redneck friends that fit the stain category, but I forgive as they have lost their way.
We need to teach the young to decide what kind of person they each want to be and teach them to become better today than they were yesterday.
We need to take back our schools.
We need to be completely self-sufficient, relying only upon God.
Our churches need to be the sole custodians of Charity, not the government.

ANY state or any bleeding heart who would take the side of this creep over a father protecting his child from such a deplorable crime is no place worth living or said person has their head up their azz! This should send a chill up the spine of every sex offender out there! Better that they be fearful of the possible consequences of their actions than for some child to become a victim. Good for Texas! I’d like to think every state in the union would come to the same decision. Welcome to Texas, where sex offenders (who continue to offend) are expendable. Do we know whether this offender spoke English? Just wondered if the creep was able to say anything to the father while he was getting the crap beat out of him. I don‘t guess you have to speak the language to understand how the victim’s father felt. These kind of stories, and the ones where the homeowner kills the home invader are ones we need to see more of. Let these lowlifes experience the occupational hazards of their “career choices”.
