‘Viva La Revolucion!’ Obama Campaign Rolls Out New Typeface Inspired By…

The Obama Campaign rolled out some new fonts on the campaign last week. The typeface chosen for the word ‘America’ was starkly different that anything we had seen before. Buzzfeed’s Zeke Miller reported that the font was named “Revolution Gothic” and that according to myfonts.com the typeface origin is seeded in Cuban Communist propaganda.

“The original font is inspired by retro propaganda posters and wallpaintings in Cuba from the 60s to 80s.”

We did some research here at the Blaze to see how true this really was. Here is a collection of early Commie propaganda from Cuba and later pop-art , can you see the similarity?

  No, Clive, it’s not just a typeface. It’s part of a pattern, along with the slogan “Forward” and a dozen other “Marxist/socialist/communist coincidences” about Obama. Any one of which might be excused as merely “just a typeface” or “just some guy he knew.”
  
  However, when someone has the ability to see the pattern and put things together, it forms a pretty clear picture of who BHO is. He‘s so egotistical and committed to his way of thinking that he just can’t help letting it leak out every chance he gets.   I’m posting about how the Blaze takes you, correctly, for absolute idiots, realizing you simply accept anything shown here as true. The font in question is retro Revolution Gothic extra bold. It does appear the the word “America” in the Obama photo is in that font as well as two other fonts.
  
  Here‘s where this website proves you’re a fool. By quick count (sorry if I’m a little off on the count) there are twenty five really scary Castro/Communist/Skull posters that follow, only about three of which use a font that even remotely looks like Revolution Gothic extra bold. There just scary photos that you just assume are somehow associated with this story. Suckers.

Government does not give us any rights that our Creator has not given us from the beginning of time. Government takes rights. I find it sad that people fall for this lie. Look at Cuba,China and a host of other suppressive nations. Is that what you really want? Do you enjoy voting for who will lead your nation or do you want a dictator? Do you enjoy being able to worship as you please or not worship at all? Do you want to choose to join the military or do you want to be jailed for not joining & when you get out of jail still have to serve as in Cuba? Do you want the gov. telling you how many children you can have & murdering your unborn if you go over the limit? Do you enjoy the freedom of being able to speak freely when you don’t like what your gov. is doing or would you like to be murdered in the streets by the gov. military as happened to so many young people in China? Would you want to starve to death as do many people in North Korea? If that is what you embrace,why are you still in America? I’m sure that any one of those nations would accept you with open arms.

  Too bad we can’t wake up the 50% that just go through life ignoring the factors that push them around. They just live in a stupor and are neither hot nor cold as they shift like the tides depending on the latest FAD or thought of the day.   I worked in an advertising agency for 13 years and I have never seen any one choose that type style. In art school we learned about typography and how it related to the product you were selling. This is a classic case of what you see is what you get. Even the name tells you what they are thinking or trying to portray. They couldn’t have made it anymore obvious. You would be a fool to overlook such a thing when it is starring you in the face screaming, “I am a communist and I love revolution.”

  Capitalism, well, free market capitalism, is what you tried to claim socialism is. Its everyone having a say. If a company has to compete, then they have to provide better services to their customers and better employment, otherwise their customers and workers will leave them and work for their competitor. There is no barrier to entry in a free market. Nothing is stopping anyone from getting in that same business. Under a socialist system, kind of like we have in America now, regulations and government sponsored monopolies exist so a competitor is barred from competing. Then is matters not how bad that company is.

As I have said before, it makes NO difference who you vote for. The problem will be with those who COUNT those votes. Soros has been busy putting his people into positions of being the ‘counters’
Unless you are willing to be a watcher of the vote count, you lose. If you vote Romney but your vote is counted for Obama, you will never know.
Be prepared for the VOTE COUNT. Even with voter ID in use, it matters not. Who verifies the count?

Sure, a few people win now and then, but the odds are astronomically stacked against the lotto player. The NAACP wants to put an end to the lotto, and by extension, I guess they’d like to see all gambling establishments shut down. So, along comes Obama with his “Betting on America” slogan. If we take that bet, we lose.   Don‘t just look at the A’s, which are similar but not the same. In the case of the A’s, look at the pic showing the cuban & soviet flags in the background. Look at the bottom half of the letter and the placement of the line moving through the “upside down v” that makes it an A. All low-hung.
  
  Look at the comparative size and shape R‘s and then compare the shape of O’s and to the C in America, and of course, look at the C’s. There’s no question that these are Communist inspired fonts, and not much of a stretch.
  
  Of course, if you really wanted to make an argument about Obama campaign art and links to Communism, I wouldn’t be looking at fonts, I’d be reading the message, particularly messages on Obama posters that are coincidentally chanted both at May Day rallies (“Si se puede”) and Obama rallies (“Yes we can”).
