Wacky Radio: Beck Crew Dons Paper Hats and Counts Down to 11:11

Regular listeners to the Glenn Beck radio program are familiar with Gary the numbers guy from Cleveland, OH. He’s fascinated with the number 11, and seems to be able to tie all major events to that number. (We also found out today he reads The Blaze — so, hello Gary.) After Gary joined the Beck radio crew to talk about today’s date, 11/11/11, and the importance of the number, Beck decided to stage a countdown to 11:11 am. And boy did it get nuts.
For example, he offered to baptize co-host Stu, made paper hats for everybody, and even employed the use of the death ray sound to simulate what might happen should the studio be hit by a power surge (as Gary hypothesized). Then there were scattered “reports” of monsters surfacing in Trenton, NJ.
Even if you heard the segment on radio, you will probably want to watch the video of what unfolded at KLIF-RADIO in Dallas:

No, I think he’s on to something. Think about this:
11-11. November 11. Thirty days have September, April, June, and November … when short February’s done, all the rest have thirty-one.
Take Novermber 11, remove a last 1 and minus it from the remaining date, Novermber 1, and you get … October 31st! Halloween!
Don’t you get it? Orson Welles! The invasion in New Jersey WAS REAL!

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 3:32pmYou guys got it all wrong, paper will not protect you from the EMF waves! You must wear *copper* hats. The usual “tin foil” hats don’t work as well since they are a poorer conductor than copper.
If you really want to be protected, both your brain and your assets, you should make a silver hat, as that is the best conductor there is, outside of “super-conductors”.
To make a good faraday cage, you want high conductivity.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 3:00pmThere was a lack of forward thinking from the Beck Camp. It would’ve been more appropriate to wear tin foil hats.

17Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:44pm@Theodwulf, If Ron Paul is nominated, he is a sure winner in general elections, because most independents and democrats who do not like endless wars and searchers without a warrant (Patriot Act) will support Paul.
Report Post »Neo-cons & progressives both defend the Corporatism and the Federal Reserve. That is why the media is pushing on us either a RINO (Romney) or a former chairman of the banking cartel (Cain.)

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:48pmYou must be joking….Ron Paul supports not one person but RON PAUL…as a retiree, I find your post classless in many ways. ONE item you may take into account is how Paul has enriched himself at the expense of conservatives without ever supporting anyone outside himself.
Report Post »blue_sky
Posted on November 11, 2011 at 3:25pm@Survivor101, it is okay that you may not agree with Ron Paul on some issues. But who else stands by Constitution among the candidates – NONE. All supported Patriot Act, wars without a declaration, nation building in Iraq, bail outs to monopolies. Nobody is perfect, but Ron Paul is the best CONSERVATIVE.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:15pmHi Space Cadet… IF you have been listening to Becks radio show awhile, you know about “Gary the Numerologist” He has a hangup about the number 11. When they did this, they had just taken a call for him and he talked about a powerful wave of energy that would hit. This was a spoof of the call and since they didn’t have the foil on hand, they did this during the countdown. He did have a segment on Veterans’ day. Because of the amount of times Gary has called the show stressing the importance of huge events connected to the number 11, the numerologist call today was a must as they counted down to 11:11:11 on 11/11/11.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:18pmYes numbers are ridiculous accept they are important to some groups. The thing that’s more important to be able to do is to think spherically in your mind whereby you can enlarge or shrink the sphere, and find points of interest and draw a line in your mind to a common conclusion like a puzzle.

Posted on November 11, 2011 at 2:23pm9635, Paul is the most conservative candidate running. He is for America and the Constitution more than any candidate. If you look at his voting record you will see this. One example is; as a rep for his district, he puts in earmarks as that is what his constituents want him to do, but if the earmark is unconstitutional, he will vote against it. He is a Constitutionalist, which in my opinion scares a lot of people. Not sure why Constitutional principles scare so many.
