Want to Know How to Make a Homemade Airsoft Gun Using a Soda Bottle?

Always wanted an airsoft gun but never could get over the cost to buy one? In this DIY video, you’ll see how to make a fully-automatic airsoft gun using a soda bottle and compressed air.

Check it out:

Materials for this project total about $15. SlashGear explains the design:

The concept is simple; you pressurize a soda-bottle full of airsoft pellets and give the air only one way to escape, through a barrel, out the cap and, ultimately, into a target. The assembly process is simple as well, requiring only that you drill two holes and mess around with a little hot glue. It’s child’s play. The result is a jurry-rigged device that completely justifies its appearance within mere seconds of use.

    Decisions, decisions;

Drag around the 120lb electric fired air compressor with 30’-50’ of air hose and +100’ electrical extension cord
Or, strap on the 40lb pre-pressurized SCUBA backpack
Or, pick up the loaded pistol grip Mossberg 12ga

In the late 60’s, a weapons collector friend owned a small SXS shotgun with small letters “RIOT” stamped on the action
Don’t remember the maker, but it was a powerful and tidy little weapon
Have never seen another one like it

Built an oxy-acetylene powered mortar once. It would shoot a golf ball over a mile. With the long barrel on it, the cover would come off the ball. Then there were the rockets . . . … . .. . ..

Some of the airsoft stuff was easy to convert with a real slide or some of the AR’s had lowers frames that with a lower parts kit and a complete upper would be an complete weapon.
Not rocket science to build a weapon . With no serial #
You can buy all the parts to build a AR with no paper work except for the lower reciever.
Thats what got certain softair guns in hot water with the batf.
Personaly I dont care if you or anyone else has weapons .

That was my first thought too: class lawsuits against Beck, against the bottle manufacterer for not warning buyers (“Do not use this bottle to build a gun”) and Brady’s bunch coming up with grounds like “inciting violence.” Oh, and maybe someone heard the guy say the N word, so they can nail him for hate speech.

A fire extinguisher such as an Ansul externally charged with 17 pound agent would pressurize to about 1200 lbs and it already has a trigger. but it would last about 30 seconds. Although I would not like to get hit with one of those at that pressure. Kind of hard to hold it up like a gun.

Because in cat season when they all get horny, they yowl and screech and fight all night. Wake you up in the middle of the night, make you have to go outside and spray ‘em with the garden hose just to get them off your property so you can sleep. And their owners don’t even care.
