Want to Learn More About Obama‘s ’War on Fossil Fuel’ and How it Affects You?

52% of America’s electricity is generated from coal, yet President Obama is seeking to “cripple” the coal industry and put it out of business. In a night dedicated to “standing up for coal,” Glenn Beck interviewed leading industry executive about President Obama’s war on fossil fuels.

One of the panelists perhaps summed it up best when he said the president “is fundamentally transforming America” and that he believes his goal “is to lower our standard of living so the rest of the world can catch up to us.”

As a result, jobs — some 2.15 million by 2010 — are lost, communities are devastated and power is being taken off the grid.

Watch as Beck and the panel dispel commonly held myths and explains the truth about coal.

The U.S. Constitution: Article. II. Section.1.5, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”:

It is the law, whether anyone believes it or not, with these words “No Person except a natural born Citizen,” and “shall be eligible to the Office of President;” which part of “No Person” and “shall be eligible” do some not understand? Anyone who disbelieves it’s the law, has inferior cognitive skills and is a total progressive demonic democrat idiot Lemming.

Ignoring the law, does not deny the law. Some blissfully attest in iconoclast posts by stating “Democrats Only” they need not apply any law! For at the time of Barry’s “Adoption” he was an Indonesian citizen, he how claims, “at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution” he was half African and half American before his “Adoption”; why only he and they believe exempts him from the law; a flip and a flop at that too, they make quite evident.

I’m assuming that this is not going to end well, and Obama and his treasonous buddies will indeed destroy the coal industry, so I have started installing the equipment to take my home “off-grid”. It is taking time, and I resent having to spend the money to do it, but it will be necessary, when the electricity rates “necessarily skyrocket” as our beloved Fuhrer promised…….welcome to the Soviet Union West folks….

As far as I am concerned Oboma and his crowd should be run out of the country for the things they are currently trying to do to our ecomemy. They don‘t have a clue what they are doing to our abilities to even produce energy affordably in this country and I don’t think they even really care since they are well off enough to overcome what they are trying to force on the rest of us.
This is why its so very important that the presidentisl canadates and those Republicans running for Congress and the Senate need to pound into peoples heads every chance they get what Obama and his Cronies are attempting to do to us and the probable results so we vote these people out in droves.
God help us if we are stupid enough to vote Obama in for another term. We won’t even know our country when they get through with us in four more years. Anybody But Obama in 2012 And vote to retake the Senate this year as well then flood Washington with e-mails demanding that Washington undoes most of what Obama has done to destroy this great nation since we where stupid enough to have voted hin into office!!!!!

Obama said, “Under my administration, energy prices will necessarily go up”. Joe Biden said, “We will make it impossible for the coal industry to renew their license or get new permits”. Under Obama, deep water drilling permits have dropped in half, shallow water permits take 3 times as long to obtain, no new petroleum refinery permits have been allowed, the Key Stone pipeline has been denied (ask Soros about his investment in a rail system to carry the oil), tax-payer money has been thrown away to support failed, and failing, so-called green projects… the list goes on.

This administration has done everything possible to destroy our economy – and they have been successful at most of their endevours.

Liberals don’t understand where Obama is taking everyone with his energy policy. I can damn well guarantee you, if any Liberal reading this site, talked to former residents of the Eastern Bloc, what it was like to live without decent electrical power, you’d just be sick to your stomachs, at how things could have been that much better, if it were made readily available than it was back then. It’s the difference between South Korea and North Korea at night.

Destroying the Coal Industry won’t save the planet, that’s a simple and convenient lie told by environmentalists to shame the masses for using it as energy. Everything we use for energy, comes from this planet, you can’t get anymore natural than that. All the BS about Wind and Solar power this and that, more than half the time, none of those are efficient enough to power a radio for more than an hour.

Who are these guys? The first guy sounded like he was either drunk or senile. And there’s the guy who brags about how how much the “coal industry” has reduced emissions and how proud he was of that (they reduced emissions alright, because they were forced to by the government).

If you want to know why America wants to reduce coal emissions, go to China, where coal is their main source of energy. If you go to the east coast (like Shanghai) where China’s industry is concentrated, you almost will never see the sun unless the wind is particularly favorable. It’s 24/7 smog and living there is like smoking a pack of cigarettes a day. It stinks, everywhere, all the time, and every flat surface is coating with grime from coal plant emissions.

The US has been there, and that’s why Nixon created the EPA. Cities like LA and Denver were covered with smog almost 365 days a year.

There was a trade-off. Did this country want to make the rich people more and more rich, or did we, as a country, want the average person to breath clean air and not get cancer from just living? And do we Americans want to see blue skies when we walk outdoors? Or the bleak, gray skies that people in China see when they walk outside?

BTW, communist China – communist China – no longer allows Chinese companies to build the same kind of polluting coal burning plants Glenn’s guys advocate. We’re talking communist China.

‘Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.” -Barack Obama

mr.goodvibe, I’m not picking up on any good vibes from you. But to answer your questions, I spend a week in China twice a year for my job. I’ve seen the sun once, although I admit I have only been to the industrial areas.

I’ll accept your comment that the air in the US is more pure now than it was, say, in the 60s. That’s due to EPA regulations, the very thing Republicans are trying to dismantle.

Apple Bite says China has no environmental regulations. So you’re in favor of regulations? In any case that’s false. You just made that up, pure and simple. Regulations (on air, water and soil discharges) are particularly tight on foreign companies, and very tight on new companies. There are a lot of companies that are “grandfathered” but controls of those are becoming more and more tight.

Why? Because, literally, China stinks. Things are so bad in certain areas the government is afraid people will revolt.

Apple Bite, the thing that gets me about people like you is you make absurd, false statements that you could have seen were wrong with a single Google search (“China emission standards” for example). I guess it’s nice living in a fact free world, but to me you simply look foolish.

He couldn’t get gas to $7.50 a gallon so now he will attempt to attack the American people with their utility bills.

Here’s the thing, the industry has gotten much better about policing it’s own issues. King Hussein will have to come up with new regulations he creates in order to drive the cost of utilities. I think all Americans are tired of giving our money to the Saudi’s for the last 60 years. When the utility companies are held hostage by the policies of King Hussein people will continue to use less to defeat the greed of the progressive’s to take our wealth by any means necessary.
I can’t wait, once prices rise and people start making their own solar panels to off set the prices, I’m sure there will be more regulations added to how solar panels can be manufactured.
For about $350 you can build your own solar panel and battery system and cut anywhere from 50-75 percent off your utilities. If you are not a huge user you can usually break even or make money.

Continue to stay ahead of the progressives and fight the good fight. It ain’t over til the last patriot is gone.

Umm, guy- that’s two years ago. Was this article written in 2008 or wut? (sic)
Won’t be watching the vids- no bandwidth- but I‘m reasonably certain there’s a definite need for coal-fired electricity generation, more so than unreliable wind and solar power. The empoyment factor alone makes for excellent reasons to keep coal plants operating. Too, coal plants can be converted to wood chip fired fuel as well (our community did it a dozen years ago) and employ forest workers as well. As a rough guess, I’d say that coal and/or wood fired electricity employs ten people for every one employed by wind or solar, and don’t need the wind or sunshine to work.
