Want to See Part 2 of Former SNL Star Victoria Jackson’s Occupy Wall St. Interviews?

Last week we brought you part one of Victoria Jackson‘s interviews with protesters down at New York’s Occupy Wall St. gathering. At the time, we were wondering when part two would surface. Well now it has. And since you loved the first one so much (or at least clicked on it a lot), we’re more than happy to bring you the second installment.
(Watch part one of the interviews)
Part two includes an interview with an anti-war Quaker, more Socratic-like questions about Marxism, and even more of Jackson delivering tracts about Jesus. And all delivered in her signature voice. If you’re ready, here it is:
Of course, not everyone is a fan of Jackson’s interviews. Fellow comedian and Impersonator Jenn Dodd decided to have some fun with Jackson’s video and made a parody of it. Consider that Dodd tries to interview Van Jones and instead ends up grilling a black van. And she also mocks the fact that the videos are called “Vickie Goes to Washington” when the interviews take place in NYC (although the Washington reference could be the name of an ongoing segment where Jackson does actually visit the nation’s capital). Funny? You decide:

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 6:47pmI think I’m starting to understand the outrage that is fueling this. After having watched 30-40 vids of OWS protesters I noticed that they have the sleeping look of someone who’s just woken up.
They have now seen what most of us saw back in 2008/2009 and they are in that angry place some of us were in 2-3 years ago. Some of us channeled our energies into blogging/commenting, attending Tea Party functions or various other actions. Some even ran for office.
Since the MSM has poisoned the collective group think against the Tea Party these semi-politically conscious young thinkers have latched onto this perfectly reasonable facsimile of a government reform movement.
It does look as if many of these protesters have adopted the communist ideals without the benefit of reading anything more complex then the Reader’s Digest version of Marxism or a Communist flavored brochure.
Cheers to all of those political sleepyheads. Let me know when you’re wide awake.

The real irony of course was the fact that the Dems used the crisis for all ot was worth riding the poplist wave all the way to WH in 08 running on the premise that deficit spending must stop, bail outs are bad and 3 dollar a gallon gas was a very bad thing……fast forward 2.5 years, (from 07-09) and the Dems have spent 3 times as much (in terms of defecit), have enshrined permanent bail out rules for Fannie and Freddie under Dodd/Frank Reforms, have purposely targetted oil and gas industries in favor of wishy washy Green Energy programs all the while Gas prices pushed even higher………the Hypocrisy is astounding…I honestly don’t know how Dems can look themselves in the mirror and not feel ashamed by the reflection in the mirror. Every independent report shows that unemployment would be worse if there had been no bailout and that unemployment would be even lower if it had been bigger, but then again I know none of you will ever look at an independent study.
@cherigc
My comment was not blaming Bush at all, it was simply pointing out that the original poster was factually incorrect. TARP was a good thing and I supported Bush when he passed it. So, no, I am not blaming Bush, but nice try.
@LastAmerican
When you label Obama “Odumdum” and “Odumbya,” it just exposes you as an immature child.
@Puddle Duck
Just like you said, Bush could have vetoed it, but he did not. Thus, as much as you like to try and spin it other ways, it was passed under a Republican president.
Don’t you all know, even Glenn Beck supported TARP when it was first proposed. In fact, he thought it was too small. Then, he conveniently changed his position once Obama took office.

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 10:45pmThere is no doubt that Hank Paulson was the “genius” behind the TARP bailout. This was GW trying to work with the people across the isle, in appointing this reprobate from Goldman Sachs Corp. Which just happens to be the biggest of the several investment banks that are democrap allies on Wall Street.
Notice how this nitwit echos the worn out democrap line, that it failed because there just wasn’t enough money thrown at it. Never matters how many millions, billions, or trillions were thrown at the problem, it failed because it just needed more money. War on Poverty, farming, democrap meddling in the economy/housing, education, on and on.
If you were drowning 50 feet off shore, a leftist would throw you a 100 foot rope and then drop his end and run off to do other “good deeds.” Leftist programs are ALWAYS heavy on intentions and light on results. So often is the case that it has to be intentional. Of course their media reports the intentions, but covers for them on the results.

Report Post »The funny thing is you never addressed the fact that the Senate and House was Dem controlled during the TARP deal. The first 2 years of this administration was ALL Dem controlled House, Senate and Presidency. So I would say the VAST majority of the bailouts have come at the hands of the Dems. How is the original post incorrect seeing as it is an opinion? Every independent study says TARP saved unemployment? When you say every what exactly are your parameters? I’ve read independent studies that have said unemployment may have gone higher in the short-term but in the long-term we would bounce back faster and not be stuck at the U3 9.1% as long as we have been. You lost your credibility when you decided to make a false statement that EVERY study supports your view.

In regard to the ol’ swimming hole. Conservatives might spring for 50 feet of rope, where the drop-off is, and would post a sign that said: NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Or: USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM. Leftists/democraps, besides dropping the rope, would float a bill in congress to appropriate money for the extra length of rope. Or more likely the leftist inspired ‘Health Panel’ would close the swimming hole as they would deem it too dangerous after the ‘cost effective’ criteria of the government run healthcare system is applied .

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 10:56pmSeparation of Church and State is a myth perpetrated by leftists/atheists. When one reads what the 56 Declaration of Independence and 55 Constitutional Founders had to say, and what the many observers at the time had to say, and the observers 30 years hence had to say, we readily recognize that the only separation they wanted was for the State to stay out of religious affairs. The Founders professed that the Constitution they drafted was wholly inadequate for anything but a religious and moral people.
For some 20 to 30 years after the ratification of the Constitution, many of the founders served in high office in the newly founded United States, if they had wanted the Constitution to have a separation of church and state, as the Libertarians and their close cousins the Leftists want, it would have been that way from the start, not some 135 to 175 years later beginning in the 20th Century. This theory is the work of anti-Americans.

So you think that it is ok to base laws and government on religious teachings? You truly are delusional. What do you think respecting an establishment of religions means?
I know you’ll say, “but back then, the states had state religions so it couldn’t mean that.” Well guess what, ever since the Fourteenth Amendment was passed, the bill of rights apply to the states, which means that states can no longer have state religions.
The founders were not religious men. People like you, Sarah Palin, and David Barton argue otherwise but the reality is you are just wrong.

Like it or not, but all our LAW is based on religious principle. There have been many studies done on the religion of the Founders. Two, possibly three were deists. Many were Christians, but most prayed to living God (the antithesis of deism). Further, when scholarship was done on everything the Founders wrote and talked about over their lifetimes, it was determined that fully 34% of everything they wrote and talked about came from the Holy Bible. That figure dwarfs the next closest topic. For the most part the Founders were religious people who prayed. To find out just how profound that finding is, read Alexis de Tocqueville‘s ’Democracy in America’. If the Founders were religious, the citizenry was even more so (ask Thomas Paine about it). The Founders juxtaposed several entitites; Locke, Hume, Blackstone, but the Bible appears to be their primary influence. There are books dedicated to the quotations of the Founders as to their admonitions of the importance of religion to the well-being of the Republic. At about the same time (within days) they drafted the Constitution, Congress drafted and passed the Northwest Ordinance, which in part said that religion should be taught in the schools. Today we have Chaplains in Congress and the Military precisely because on June 28, 1787 Ben Franklin called for prayer at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

Just because two things have the same root does not mean they are the same. German is the root of both English and Swedish. According to your logic, both languages are “most basically” the same.
Apparently you have never looked at how socialist democracies work, such as Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Germany. They are still completely free societies that have broad social programs. Some of the richest people in the world come from those countries as well as some of the most innovative technologies. Furthermore, those countries have existed in that form for quite some time without turning into dictatorships.
Generally, people are happy and healthier in those countries, and not, it is not because they are told they have to say that. Rather, it is because they actually are happier and healthier. I know these are all inconvenient facts for teabaggers such as yourself, but look to a news source other than Glenn Beck and maybe your eyes will be opened to the fact that enacting social programs and raising taxes do not lead to a dictatorship or communism.

Actually both communism and socialism are predicated on the theory of Marxism. Whose main tenets are socialism, redistribution of wealth (through confiscatory tax policy) and class warfare/class envy, which the democraps have extended to include race-baiting. They are most basically the same.
Don’t flatter yourself, actually it’s only leftists who think the Tea Partiers are idiots. If your leftist blogs are telling you that and you’re buying it, then you are the quintessential idiot. I think it’s more like wishful thinking on your part.
Finally, the military has been purposely undermined by the democraps purely for the purpose of political advantage. They know it. There are possibly as many as 5 million armed citizens who would rise up in the upcoming revolution. Add to that the many thousands of military personnel who would join the patriots, who would also bring military equipment. I would be very surprised if there weren’t contingency plans already in place where this is concerned. It’s going to be one hell of a conflagration. Let Freedom Ring!

Posted on October 17, 2011 at 10:16pmWhen you cannot win the argument, resort to name calling. FYI – Glenn Beck has been ahead of the curve on every issue; Glenn is a GENIUS and he is on to what the communists in the white house have been planning.
