Want to See Stephen Colbert Interview Protesters After Dressing as Che Guevara?

After hilariously taking a trip down to Occupy Wall Street dressed as Che Guevara, Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert interviewed two protesters in his “penthouse suite overlooking Zuccotti Park.”

Gothamist has more:

Colbert took the limo down to Zuccotti Park dressed as Che Guevera, so he could blend in. But soon after he arrived, those corporate masters on Wall Street decided to unleash a thunderstorm onto the protesters and Colbert, who fought back with the best means at their disposal: a dance party.

In his dialogue with the protesters (which happened after the dance party), Colbert attempts to better understand the protest movement, while looking for a way to take it over and to use it to spread his own message. At one point, he tells the Occupiers: ”You guys seem like a cult.”

This comical segment comes after Colbert previously poked fun at the protest back in late September. Below, watch him make some jokes about both Occupy Wall Street (and, of course, conservatives).

      Of course history repeats itself because men become glamorized by their own image. Jesus said that you will hear many people say, “there is Jesus, and over there is Jesus, but do not believe them.” As a matter of history, when Jesus came, all the doubters called him the devil, and that he came in the power of Satan. Moreover, when your Father finally comes, the churches which are the synagogues of Satan, those churches will call Jesus “Satan” because Jesus will interfere with their hold on power. They will say, “He is off his meds, and that he escaped from the asylum.” Moreover, almost in the exact say way the powers currently in charge are trying to make the doers of society appear like zombies.

      What gets me is that none of these idiots stop to consider that their backers and funders are all part of the 1%. Why doesn’t anyone show them the bank accounts/salaries of Trunka, Moore, Jessie Jackson, et al? Or why don‘t they ask WHY AREN’T THESE (Trunka, Moore, Jackson, Sharpton, et al) staying in tents with them during the next few frigid months?       They behave very similar to cult members, as they give a fingers up..or down, then sometimes cross their arms to block a comment.

      I haven‘t liked Colbert much in skits I’ve seen him in, but he handled this in a pretty humorous way.

      Watford City, (and surrounding towns), North Dakota, have approx “18,000 job openings”, oil field, restaurants, drivers, teachers, etc…they are crying for help…SERIOUSLY!! there is a wonderful boom going on there!!

      Send all these OWS leeches there and make them work for a living for a change!..no leeching off the government, mom/dad, communist contributors..

      Of course if these OWS losers leave and do something constructive, all the people like Michael Moore etc will have their fan base taken apart. And Iran will have no American crap to “like”…

      What upsets me the most is…our government is allowing these things to happen. There is a difference between freedom of speech, stupidity and destroying our cities and nation. There is a difference between demonstrating where it does no good, and going to Washington where all the laws that have allowed the things you are supposedly demonstrating against, is located. I believe president and adm are 100% behind these riots. it will be very disruptive for an election

      I used to do carpentry work for a Harvard law grad. Big time succesful attourney. In real life she was a complete dumb ass. She had no common sense at all.

      That‘s when I realised you don’t have to be smart or intellagent to go to and graduate from a university.
      She had a great memory and could read and write well, but dumb as a stick.

      I’m surprised that when one said something, the other didn’t repeat it mindlessly, as I’ve seen in some of these so-called “assemblies”. It’s not about sharing ideas and coming to a consensus, it’s about indoctrination and mob rule.       The saddest part of the first video is that what the two loons were teaching Colbert is exactly what is going on at these OWS gatherings. They actually make group decisions exactly the way they explained. My point is… THEY ARE ALL FREAKIN NUTS!

      2. Herman Cain is probably the ONLY candidate that can beat Obama. (Two major factors play into my reason for making such a bold statement. Just the expected historical level of cheating that is expected by the Obama Election Thug Machine may be enough for Obama to beat any candidate we put forth. Secondly and more importantly… Herman is the ONLY candidate that can strip away 30% or more of the minority vote from Obama)

      There are some very good reasons other than just these two, but for me, these two are enough!

      I’m a male bodied person and I say these people are trying to reinvent the wheel. We already have a process and its called voting for your representative and petitioning for change. I know it sucks sometimes but we can’t run this country on hand signals. If we did, then we would quickly be invaded while we stood around making hand signals with each other and trying to gain concensus on the right tactics to use.
