It looks like a UFO. Glides like a UFO — at least one connected to the ground — allowing it to follow sunlight as a flower would. And is probably as high-tech as a UFO would be.
One such home was spotted in upstate New York. Watch this clip about the home and see it move:
Dome homes like this are created by French manufacturer DOMESPACE as energy efficient and natural disaster-ready homesteads. According to its website, the first Domespace was built in 1988.

Posted on October 15, 2011 at 8:30amI’ve heard about these houses before. Plumbing in flexible tubing that goes down the center. Same with the electrical wiring. The house can’t rotate 360º. It’s at the most 180º.

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 8:20pmVery interesting. Maybe I missed something, but if there is no power for whatever reason, will they still be able to “rotate it” to keep up with the sun’s movement?

Posted on October 14, 2011 at 12:34pmCool house. The interior is much more “upscale” than I’m used to seeing in a dome home. I wish they said how much it costs.
