RALEIGH, N.C. (AP/The Blaze) — A search warrant says a U.S. Navy sailor stationed at Fort Bragg passed classified documents to someone he thought worked for a foreign intelligence agency in exchange for cash. The warrant, unsealed Friday in federal court, says 22-year-old Navy Reserve Intelligence Specialist 3rd Class Bryan Minkyu Martin of Mexico, N.Y., accepted $3,500 from an undercover FBI agent.
According to the warrant, Martin gave the agent dozens of pages of documents that were either secret or top secret. The case was first reported by The Fayetteville Observer.
In the initial Nov. 15 meeting with the undercover agent, at a Hampton Inn near Fort Bragg, Martin told the agent his current assignment focused on Afghanistan, and that he would one day work for the Defense Intelligence Agency, according to the warrant.
“Martin stated that over his prospective 15 to 20 year career, he could be very valuable,” the warrant says.
Martin was paid $500, along with the promise of more money in exchange for secret documents, according to the warrant. At two subsequent meetings, Martin handed over documents in exchange for two payments of $1,500 in cash, for which he signed a receipt using a code name, the warrant says.
It could not be immediately determined if Martin has a lawyer.Martin has not been charged. He’s being held in Norfolk, Va.
Paul O’Donnell, a spokesman for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, says the agency does not believe Martin was able to pass any classified information to foreign agents.

Posted on December 6, 2010 at 11:51pmHere’s a question, that PFC that stole hundreds of thousands of documents for Wikileaks last dump, how does a PFC get a hold of more than a few docs at once? It doesn’t make sense, I can see him being handed a few to pass along, but hundreds of thousands? Somewhere there’s a officer who just got away with treason.

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 12:09amYou can download and burn to disk in just a few minutes. Some folders can contain thousands of files. So it wouldn’t be that hard to burn that many files in a short while. I can burn a movie that’s several Giga bytes in about 20 minutes. Files usually are any bigger than 100,000 bytes. So one disk without video or graphics could hold a lot of files.

Sorry for the weak stomached liberal crowd, but these SOB’s need to be put in front of a cement wall and a firing squad needs to fire several rounds into these TRAITORS and set some examples out of them and show, they this kind of TREASON is punished in the most severe manner…

Carry a 45. since the 9mm doesn‘t kill ’um… just scares ‘um’.
3. Tell Ahmed that a ‘grumpy’ old combat warrior is back, he’s angry and
looking for him and his inbreed buddies.
4. Let me serve ‘point’ for the convoys with louds speakers playing
Christmas songs and Adam Sandlers Hanukkah song in stereo.
5. Drag a dead pig from the rear bumper to avoid sneak attackes from behind.
6. Interrogate Ahmed by whacking them upside the head with pigs feet.
Gently of course… must not hurt the buggers.
Etc., etc.

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:24amtreason? The guy’s a Mexican…….how can he have committed treason, when he is NOT a natural born citizen?
No, the guy is guilty of espionage, not treason.
But, thats what you get, when you;
1) let foreigners enter your military
2) pay your soldiers lowly wages which leave them open to bribery
3) let gay socialists set the lilitary agenda
4) keep pumping money into secret operations and projects that can be exploited by foreign infiltrators.
Your military is NOT under your control……and if the FBI is setting up “stings”, then, the FBI already knew about the leakers, and, they’ve just got themselves another patsy to use as a scapegoat when the public finds out just how deep this hole goes.
The UN owns your military, they own your pentagon, and now they are coming for your economy…..because your treausy is just not enough to satisfy their greed, obviously.

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 8:41amTreason defined: TREASON
This word imports a betraying, treachery, or breach of allegiance.
The Constitution of the United States, Art. III, defines treason against the United States to consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid or comfort. This offence is punished with death. By the same article of the Constitution, no person shall be convicted of treason, unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court
Pretty simple, time for a trial and if found guilty; death.
