Was a Chicago Protester Caught Wearing a ‘Kill Glenn Beck’ T-Shirt?

If you happened to be watching the 5 pm newscast on NBC 5 in Chicago yesterday, you might have been taken aback. That’s because a shocking, and threatening t-shirt seems to have flashed across the screen during coverage of the NATO summit protests. The shirt? “Kill Glenn Beck.”
A Beck listener alerted us to the incident after seeing it live, and so we checked. Here’s what we found:
While the screen shots aren’t definitive, if you look closely, it seems you can make out the words. Still, we wanted more. And wouldn’t you know it, we found that a “Kill Glenn Beck” shirt does exist. A Tumblr account featuring someone called “protesthour” features the piece of clothing:

According to the caption, the man pictured got the shirt at a concert for the ironically-named band, “Hate.” Just in case that band isn’t in your regular music rotation, Hate is a Polish heavy metal group know for such work as “The Litanies of Satan.” They completed a North American tour last year but cancelled a European one recently.
It’s unclear if the man purchased the shirt directly from the band (the band’s merchandise section does not have the shirt) or from another vendor at the concert — or if he was simply given the shirt while at the concert.
But here’s what we do know: a Glenn Beck fan spotted a t-shirt that the fan thought said “Kill Glenn Beck;” we found some screen shots that seem to show that; and we found a website with a guy wearing such a shirt, so we know it exists.
It would certainly not be surprising if a protester was, in fact, wearing such an abhorrent article of clothing. Remember, chants of, “What do we want? Dead cops!” rang out across the Windy City on Sunday.

They want to degrade, denounce, kill him/her, stop their ability to speak their views, but never is there a reason given other than an insult.
And, of course, the FIRST THING they always hysterically whine about is that they’re racists or haters, and those insults are never followed with legitimate examples.
Just like the masked boobs who ran into the restaurant in Chicago beating people in the head with baseball bats, I don’t think any of them are sane. Racism seems to be the greatest evil and sin they could EVER think of…even if it doesn’t exist. And, of course, if it doesn‘t they’ll claim that anyway.
They hate Sarah Palin, as just one of MANY. Have they really said why? Have they come out and say I don’t think traditional American values are right for this country, or I like a more liberal society where there are plenty of shades of gray, with nothing delineated as just black or white? Nope. They just say something like he/she is a hater or that they‘re a Nazi or that they’re racist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc., on and on and on.
But I’m sure of one thing about these dregs. They’re nut cases first, last and always, and I wish one of them would come at me with a baseball bat. And “no” I wouldn’t need a gun.

Glenn Bech HAS had some harsh words for Ron Paul supporters… soooo, this tee shirt might have some significance for some Paul acolytes who might agree with that statement.
I’ve read some pretty disparaging stuff here regarding Beck by the Paul crowd. No death threats that I’ve seen, but…. hey… you be the judge.

Down the road a little ways from where I grew up. The letters, you must admit are the same in number, similar in definition and placement. While there Is a T-shirt that can be found with the words “Kill Glenn Beck” for sale, I can not find a similar shirt saying “full blown ween”. They do not have any albums named that nor have any of their concerts been played under that theme. do you have some more information supporting your theory?

Well it seems you can make out lots of words. I blew up the imagery and tried to read the lettering. Then I selected sans serif fonts (first ARIAL Black and then tried Arial Bold) to see if I could match or reconstruct the individual letter shapes.
My Raster/Vector reconstruction looks like it says “full blown ween,” and I have never heard of ween before, so I searched for “full blown ween Chicago.“ I picked up a review of the ”first full-blown album, 1990′s GodWeenSatan” on a Chicago LGBT site, that also mentioned “hallo-ween” parties and events.
Mystery, No?
My point is, you cannot take that video and claim it says any particular thing. Not enough granularity.
But it will make great headlines tonight on Hannity! LOL

I took all three photographs and looked at them closely through photoshop filters. The last word you can clearly make out “ECK”. The “B” is difficult to read though.
The second photograph you can clearly make out “.LENN”. The “G” looks like a blob.
The first word in all three photos is difficult to make out, but you can tell the last two letters are either “LL” or “II” or some repeating tall letter.
Either way this is not Ween. The evidence is supporting the ****…. but honestly the guy has the right to wear whatever he wants, whether I think he’s an idiot or not. So does it really matter? We know most of these OWS protesters hate Glenn already anyways.

Also where the sleeves end in respect to the line of the lettering. Too much of a match to be a coincident. It’s like a fingerprint.

More importantly is it even really news? So someone printed a shirt saying kill Glenn Beck, gee that’s not been heard in 30 secon…..damn, heard someone say it. If you need the obvious spelled out for you then you have larger problems my dear dear friend. As it is I am a big fan of Most of Mr. Beck’s material. Not all but most. When you make the kind of waves he does, there will invariably be people who want to see your passing. Get it now, should I use smaller words, perhaps put a space between each letter so you get them all……?
