Was Osama bin Laden Protected by Pakistan in Return for Saudi Cash?

Evidence Shows Pakistan Did Know Osama bin Laden Was Hiding Out in the Country Islamabad

While this may not come as a shock to some, one American security analyst is claiming she has evidence that Pakistan knew of Osama bin Laden’s whereabouts in the country the entire time he was there and even granted the U.S. permission to carry out a “covert mission” to take out the world’s most wanted terrorist. The mission, according to the analyst, would then be covered up by claiming bin Laden had been killed in a drone strike.

The Telegraph reports:

Raelynn Hillhouse, an American security analyst, claims his whereabouts were finally revealed when a Pakistani intelligence officer came forward to claim the $25m (£15 million) bounty on the al-Qaeda leader’s head.

Her version, based on evidence from sources in what she calls the “intelligence community”, contradicts the official account that bin Laden was tracked down through his trusted courier.

But Pakistani officials have consistently maintained they had no knowledge of bin Laden’s whereabouts or of the U.S.-lead secret mission that ultimately killed him.

Dr. Hillhouse, allegedly known for her connections to private military contractors working with the CIA, wrote on her blog The Spy Who Billed Me that ”The [Inter-Services Intelligence] officer came forward to claim the substantial reward and to broker US citizenship for his family.” Hillhouse continues:

“My sources tell me that the informant claimed that the Saudis were paying off the Pakistani military and intelligence (ISI) to essentially shelter and keep bin Laden under house arrest in Abbottabad, a city with such a high concentration of military that I‘m told there’s no equivalent in the US.” After confirming bin Laden’s presence in the military town, the US approached Pakistan’s military leaders securing their co-operation in return for cash and a chance to avoid public humiliation.

According to The Telegraph, if Hillhouse’s theory were true, it could explain how American Black Hawks were able to fly into Pakistani airspace back in May without being met with resistance — the plan only falling apart when one of the helicopters crash-landed:

“The co-operation was why there were no troops in Abottabad,” writes Dr Hillhouse. “It had always seemed very far-fetched to me that a helicopter could crash and later be destroyed in an area with such high military concentration without the Pakistanis noticing.” In the immediate aftermath of the raid, some residents of Abbottabad, where bin Laden had lived for five years, said they had received mysterious visits a night earlier warning them to stay inside with their lights off.

However, a senior Pakistani security official is vehemently denying claims the ISI had sheltered bin Laden, using a rather colorful metaphor to get his point across.

“We don’t use toilet paper – we wash,” he said. “But toilet paper is all this theory is good for.”

Not surprisingly perhaps a US Department of Defense spokesperson reportedly stated, “we have no additional operational details, or comments on operational details, to make at this time.”

Do you think bin Laden’s location was known to the U.S. and Pakistan for most, or all of the time he was in Islamabad? Did Pakistan help the U.S. carry out its mission to kill the notorious murdered? What say you?

Absolutely nothing surprises me anymore about what the White House and the DOD will do. There‘s still enough unanswered questions about Obummer’s birth certificate… Case in point,,, show me one black person in the US who‘s birth certificate lists them as African American at the time of Obummer’s birth.

19 of the 30 families said no photos when the Seals’ bodies were returned. Obama used it as a photo op anyways. They wanted a picture of him saluting the dead soldiers. He is absolutely shameless. Who surprised that he would do that though?

I believe it … I said from the beginning that Pakistan was being paid to keep Bin Laden under house arrest. The question was who was making the payments, what were the terms and who was doing it.
Ben Laden was worth billions in foreign aid as long as he was kept alive and a perceived threat and a someone the West had to “get”. Obama needed to change the national dialogue which was heating-up against him over his birth-certificate which Trump was building. Obama gained time to cover-up and shift the national focus away from himself

Look, I think we can all agree that none of us know or will ever know the real TRUTH behind any story, especially one as big as the bin Laden story. We can all guess and rant about what we think really went on, based on the bogus news sources or books that we have consulted, but when you’re able to admit that maybe, just maybe, you really don’t know anything about anything, strip yourself of your ego, let go of the idea that yours is the best, then maybe real conversations can happen on this forum.

      MERITOCRACY….
I agree with you on this one. Murray seems to be saying that there is really no right or wrong but, perhaps, a middle ground, where we can reach some sort of agreement acceptable to all.

    Possible-yes; probable-maybe.
First, Saudi Arabia. Back when King Abdullah was the Interior Minister, he fought long and hard against his brother, King Fahd, about stationing US troops on Saudi soil. He also was one of Yasser Arafat’s biggest boosters in the Kingdom and directed a lot of petrodollars in his direction. One of his wives is also from the same family as Osama bin Laden.
Second, Pakistan. Many examples of duplicity here, but the most recent came about when China alleged that the latest unrest in the Moslem NW of China was instigated by Pakistan-trained members of Al Qaeda. Rather than start a media war of words, the Asst Foreign Secretary was dispatched to Beijing. While there he gave a press conference and made a very revealing comment. He said that Pakistan viewed China as an all-weather friend, whereas the US was only a fair weather friend.

Was Osama bin Laden Protected by Pakistan in Return for Saudi Cash?

I’m inclined to believe it was not the top few members of the Saudi royal family, but some other bazillionaire Saudi, even a member of the royal family? Sure.

The royal family might be BFF with George Bush, but there are lots of rich elate in that dictatorship, many of whom I imagine would happily support Bin Laden, himself a member of a billionaire family.

The Pakistanis weren‘t happy they weren’t informed in advance of the raid that killed Bin Laden. But I seriously doubt the Saudis were informed either. Just my opinion.

I have worked in an industry with many Pakistani business owners.
Many were pretty decent, seemingly honest hard working men…but in 30 years I never met a Pakistani who wasn’t a pathalogical liar when you got down to reality.
I can’t imagine Pakistani politicians would be any different.
Pakistan is not our “friend” and never should have been trusted with anything.
This does not surprise me in the least.

You are dead on with that.
In most Islamic cultures lying is taught along with learning how to walk.
The usual explanation from middle easterners is that they are surrounded by enemies and they need to “protect” themselves.
Maybe that’s why President Downgrade is such an inveterate liar…it’s just the “inner muslim” in him.

We will realy never know the whole truth of this matter.
If the Phokis (a li’l Soetoro lingo) were paid off to shelter OBL, it seems fitting they would also take care of his dialysis treatments.
The Saudis encourages whaabism. They pay off their own crazies so as to leave the Saudis (Royals/government) alone, but tell their crazy Imams/Clerics who preaches/practice/teaches this whaabism they don’t mind what they do in other countries. Just leave the {Saudi government alone and the loot will keep flowing. Many ameriKan pols babbles they ,(Saudis)are our friends. Friends? BS.
Most of these Musks being built here are hot bed of radicalism, financed by the Saudis.
This story seems as credible as any other.
Paying for OBL security would have been a quid pro quo .
The Saudis were paying for OBL’s safe house/s other expenses and hospital treatment,s. OBL would not stir up the Saudi masses to help overthrow the Royals.
Actually, they had been paying off OBL for many many Moons,, long before he even came on our radar..

This whole story is a total lie. Bin Laden died in 2003 from Renal failure and lower body paralysis, meaning with his illness it was impossible for him to be alive all these years. Now the best part, the so called Bin laden who the seal team 6 killed was non other than a man called Akhbar Han who had absolutely nothing to do with OBl at all. The security compound Akhbar Han lived in was in a secure zone and you had to show ID to leave and enter.

With all this deficit talk and potential cutting of medicare etc. it seems obvious that giving our enemies, ie.Pakistan, the Palestinains etc any money at all is outrageous. That’s where to start cutting the budget – stop giving our enemies money.
