Wasserman-Schultz Blames Bush for Hamas’ Rise to Power

During a townhall meeting at a Jewish Community Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz stated that Hamas came to power because of former President George W. Bush’s push for democracy in “Gaza and West Bank,” and said “the rise of Hamas is thanks to quote -un-quote democracy.”
The Democratic National Committee chairwoman then asserted that the Obama administration is keeping an ever-watchful eye on Arab Spring nations.

Let me first start by saying…I can’t stand this woman. Most of the time, her vile rhetoric turns my stomach.
With that said, she is correct about Democracy and her “you kind of never know what you’re going to get” statement. Like you said, thank God we live in a Republic.
Often in a Democracy, the majority (often “the mob”) rules according to their whims, which seems to be what is happening with these Arab Spring movements.
It just so happens that I agree with her about that one point she was making. OMG, I can’t believe I just said that. I need help! :-(

Same with the infiltration of Al Qaeda in Iraq after the invasion and their murder of thousand of US soldiers. And of course the rise to supremacy of Iran in the Middle East, once their counterbalance, Iraq, became and weak and divided country. Besides the deaths of 4,400 Americans, this really hasn’t worked out too well in dollars, stability in that region, the security of our country or in any other way. Not being political here, it was, in retrospect, a colossal mistake.
So Wasserman is saying that. Who cares at this point, what’s the big deal? It’s done. I do think she’s hot though, although a little, uh, old for me.

He has thrown away every alliance we have except Israel and is working hard to destroy that one. The changes he has wrought are irreversible and will likely result in the death of millions of people.

As the revolts succeeded the radicals are taking over and want Sharia Law, the establishment of a caliphate and the elimination of Israel and the “great satan”.
Who will she blame then?
