Watch a Syrian Government Supporter Attack an Opposition Activist on Al Jazeera

A Lebanese political analyst and supporter of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad attacked an opposition activist during a live broadcast on Al Jazeera TV Tuesday. As The Blaze has previously reported, this is far from the first time such antics have occurred.

During the show, Syrian government supporter Joseph Abu Fadel angrily stood up from his seat and made his way around the table to Muhieddine Ladkani’s chair. The show‘s host hastily stood up as well and tried to avert the physical altercation to no avail as the men’s fighting took them off camera.

The Lebanon Daily Star detailed more of the incident:

Ladkani criticized Abu Fadel’s opposition to Qatar’s position on the uprising against President Bashar Assad, saying that Abu Fadel had previously praised Doha’s donations toward rebuilding Lebanon’s infrastructure.

“I traveled to Lebanon after the [2006] war and I saw people in Beirut‘s southern suburbs raising Qatari flags and saying ’thank you, Qatar,’” Ladkani said

In 2007, Doha and Beirut launched a rehabilitation program for south Lebanon in which Qatar donated around $2 million to southern villages.

“How come you are now criticizing the Arabs? Didn’t you personally raise a sign that thanked Qatar?” Ladkani asked.

Abu Fadel denied Ladkani’s claims and quickly grew incensed.

“Shut up!” he shouted, rising from his seat and threatening to beat up Ladkani.

Both men then stood up and hurled insults at each other, after which Abu Fadel made his way around the table to where Ladkani was standing. This prompted the host, whose show is infamous for such confrontations, to intervene physically in an unsuccessful attempt to stave off Abu Fadel’s assault.

Al-Jazeera then cut to a commercial break.

The argument got heated when the one without a beard said, “Why is your Camel wearing a Burke?”
And the other guy said, “That not my Camel, it’s my Wife.” And then the guy said, “I have never seen such an ugly camel.” Then things got really out of control.

But what is funny, if someone off camera in the very middle of that argument had said “Muhammad sucks, Muhammad was gay…” all three of them in unison would have jointed together to physically attack and kill the person who made the comments about Muhammad.

His parents called him a name, naming him after the evil founder of Islam.

In the UK, the birthplace of Western freedom and democracy, Muhammad is now the most common baby name for boys. And to all readers, if that doesn’t disturb you, you are not paying attention.

This is what we have to deal with over there. People so smart and so mature they need to silence those who disagree. The quran openly commands islamists to kill non-believers and send them to Hell, for that is their just reward, and to lie to non-believers in defense of islam. So, if ou know who they are and what they are about you will be killed at the first opportunity, and if you do not know, they will hide it from you, and make you a useful idiot. Come get me…I know…

What can’t AJ afford a camera man, if so how do you not follow the action…?

Oh wait I get AJ is actually taped in someone’s basement and the Newsroom is really just a green screen.

Seriously, do any of you believe these people could ever rule themselves? Nearly every debate ends like this and disagreements end in a war. There is a reason they’ve fallen behind the west, as we’ve heard the last few days Muslims are the birthplace of society, lets say that could be true ( even though it clashes with history ) but just for argument’s sake, at best they‘re stuck in the 1940’s and at worse they back in the 1200′s.

Also for argument’s sake, they invented Algebra ( once again flies in the face of history ) but Obama’s NASA said so ( chuckle I guess Greeks were Muslim 700bc even though Muhammad lived 570-62? ad ) but lets give it it to them foe argument’s sake.

They take credit for a lot of things but yet they‘re still stuck in the mid 1900’s and ideologically stuck in medieval times. In the way they treat their women and society. Stoning’s, chopping off of hands, it‘s as if they’ve regressed too a time before reason… with high tech toys they can’t fully comprehend.

    So Much Hate…

This is actually why I love al-Jazeera.

They show the good, the bad & the ugly (granted from a culturally skewed point of view). They show the divisions in the religion of Islam.

Ya gotta’ remember, Islam may be based on Judaism & Christianity but it is still a relatively young religion, only 1300 years old – at the same place in our development we Christians were at the end of the Dark Ages & the Inquisition (not our brightest age) – they’re still very illiterate & tribal.

al-Zazeera captures this era of Islam for all to observe and judge (I love it!) – could you imagine if in the 1200′s there were a Global Inquisition Network, oh my ….

Sorry, off topic but I did send it as a tip so maybe the ezalB will finally do a story about it?

The RNC passed a resolution exposing Agenda 21 on January 13th.

    http://wethepeopleusa.ning.com/profiles/blogs/breaking-new-media-alert-rnc-passes-resolution-exposing-un-agenda?xg_source=activity

Everyone who lives in a town run by Repubs, email this to them and ask when they will dump their sustainable developmenet and smart meter programs.

For those of you with Repub legislators all the way up to the governor, email them the wording of the resolution and demand they follow suit.

It’s up to We the People to demand out Repub politicians renounce Agenda 21 and since the RNC backs this, they have NO EXCUSE anymore.

Rick Perry was a full on implemeter of Agenda 21 in Texas and that was the reason I couldn’t support his candidacy. I have not vetted Mitt‘s or Rick’s current position on Agenda 21, or know if they passed or voted for legislation that was Agenda 21 compliant in the past. I do know that both Ron Paul and Newt are against it.

I don’t know what you are talking about, but I think ken2 is referring to the irony that Islam is called the religion of peace when the Q’ran teaches contention and violence. In contrast, Jesus Christ was called the “prince of peace” for very good reasons and the bible ultimately supports that.
