We’ve all heard it — the wretched screeching sound a car makes when a driver presses hard on the brakes. This noise, often followed by crunching metal-on-metal, can be pretty startling. A collection of these unpleasant sounds is exactly what a St. Louis television reporter experienced earlier this week — while on the air!
Below, watch Ann Rubin delivering a live report. Around 00:18, expect the unexpected. You‘ll hear two cars crash just off camera and you’ll see the horrified look on Rubin’s face. You don’t want to miss this one:

There will still be a gov‘t handout for those who don’t save or prepare themselves for old age. Welfare was supposed to be supplemental, not the whole shebang. My grandfather paid into a union pension plan that went belly up three month after he retired. What’s that say about the corrupt unions. He was one of those for whom the program was designed. He had been frugal and was able with his savings to live out his days okay. He didn’t get to travel as much as he would have liked, but he got by just fine.
I agree with you, though, about Christie. It is another example that elitists are on both sides of the aisle. I wonder if he would have paid had he not been caught. There is little integrity in our politicians. There’s little among most of any elected body.

I understand that as a driver we must convince ourselves that the job at hand, driving, cannot be broken by concentrating on a camera crew. It is very hard NOT to look though, and then we have the accidents! I noticed the TV anchors did not mention anything about rubber-necking though…..
