Posted on September 22, 2011 at 11:38pmAnd a fence is not needed if you turn off the magnets, which Perry does not want to do… Instate Tuition, Free Health care, and opposes E-verify. Romney has RomneyCare, which is not as strong of an argument any more but Perry has Immigration which is always a hot subject with Republicans and he double down on being soft on it. This is why the Tea Party is leaving him: http://www.thedailycandidate.com/video/2011/sep/instate_tuition_perry.html

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 12:51amAlso it’s Democrats that are praising his Immigration stance, not conservatives: http://www.americanparchment.com/video/2011/aug/perry_immigration_democrats.html

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 11:17amI noticed the choices listed on the poll questions could not have been written by a true conservative, especially the one on immigration. Ist option “deport all immigrants” to me the issue is illegal aliens. 4th option, leave them alone. There was no choice listed for enforcement of the immigration laws. I guess this nation has become so weak and so much like Mexico the option of enforcement is less important than writing laws we do not intend to enforce. If the people sneaking in from Mexico are immigrants why are the schools teaching our childern to speak Spanish instead of teaching Mexicans the language of this Country?

Posted on September 23, 2011 at 12:01amWhat makes a leader? Someone who has movie star good looks, big hair and conveniently changes their stance on the issues by however the political wind is blowing? Or someone that has demonstrated character by voting for the principles of and defending the Constitution, even when he was the only one. True leaders serve the people they represent, not demand being served by the people and Ron Paul is the only one!

thats a cop out and you know it. You can build a fence, you just dont have any politicians with strength to stand up to the Mexican population so they come up with the excuses which in essence gives them an out. Are you kidding me, you cant build a fence that cant be crossed? That is your answer? We can travel space, build on sorts of specialized weapons, cure innumerable diseases and you say we cant build a uncross able fence along a border. B > S>

Posted on September 22, 2011 at 9:57pmI don‘t know about ya’ll, but Santorum just got his kicked. You may not like Perry’s stance on the border, but he is correct in my eyes. Boots on the ground is better than any fence.
Point Perry.
Report Post »Common.Cents
Posted on September 22, 2011 at 10:04pmI disagree. A border fence would provide much more deFENCE for our country. Perry’s resentment for the fence is quite strange. Didn’t i hear glenn say that 90% of illegal immigration is stoppable by a fence?
and what does Boots on the ground even mean?

Posted on September 22, 2011 at 10:09pmCOMMON.CENTS
Fence is easily breached by up/over/around. Boots on the ground means someone is there to great them.
Report Post »hidden_lion
Posted on September 22, 2011 at 10:12pmThere are boots on the ground already…doesn’t help much that they are all union shills, hanging by the water cooler as the country is invaded. Man can’t watch that much border, no matter how many boots that we put there…I say we just make Mexico a state. Then they would all be legal and no more problem….See how hard was that? I need to be in Washington…lol

General Pattons statement may be appropriate for use by a battle general to lead and inspire his troops, but as foreign policy it is far from honorable or Christian and is antithetical to the foreign policy of our founding fathers who, thank God, were infinitely more wise than 99.9 % of todays politicians.
