Posted on August 30, 2012 at 11:08pmI liked Paul Ryan‘s and Marco Rubio’s speeches the best. I like Rand Paul but his speech fell a little flat. Mittens speech was average, John McCainish per se.
I hope this country can get some fiscal lions in our senate and congress in the next 2 years. I have a feeling we will get a 2 year window with a Republican majority in both the house and senate. When this chance arises and we do not, DO NOT go down the right road we will be on the road to serfdom. Evil will prevail if we do not have enough GOOD men to do something.
Good luck Romney/Ryan.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 11:36pmRNC’s Final Day? It is the RNC’s Final Days. The GOP is going to be history when they cannot defeat the worst President we have ever had, when they cannot defeat a sitting President that has disdain for the Constitution. Why will they lose? Because the RNC has shown that they have disdain for the Constitution also. They have made the peoples voice moot!! No more votes from the people, only the establishment power leaders and their pick for a presumptive nominee. Shameful. You are witnessing the demise of America, and the funny thing is, it is not Obama that is doing it, it is Romney and the RNC!

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 11:39pmLibertarian, You should change your name as no respectable Libertarian would be for Romney or Ryan. If you are you are a disgrace to the Libertarians in this country, like myself, and you are lying to yourself.

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 11:43pmLibertarian, I must apologize I think I misread what you are saying, I know this is a frustrating time and I hope you are not thinking of voting for Romney, as that would be a mistake. I am going to support Gary Johnson as I believe he is a much better person, better fiscally and more in tune to liberty. He is also a successful two term governor where Romney is an unsuccessful one term governor.

Now I appreciate what he’s trying to do….but my gosh….can the RNC be more lethargic? Sure we want to know that Mitt is approachable and caring…but could we not find some folks a few decades younger? We’re up against someone who texts what a Blackberry? Could we not get someone who speaks about 2009 and not 1979? Come on….

Posted on August 30, 2012 at 8:39pmI have to say, the first hour tonight is a bit of a yawn, with a few sparks. I would like the speakers to speak to the TV crowd and not address the echo in the room. Just let the words roll out like Ann Romney, Chris Christie and Paul Ryan did. It is kind of important to hold people’s interest, isn’t it?

Not since Reagan have we been able to put the country clubbers in their place. I’m not a Ron Paul supporter but I believe in a Constitutional Republic and not a mob rule of law like the Democrats. What do these country clubbers seem to believe in?
