    Truly an inspirational event. Thanks to Glenn and all his staff, for putting themselves out there. I pray Israel comes to realize they aren’t alone and that millions of us stand by them. God has indeed chosen a good man, to help enlighten the world, and, Glenn, you’ve done an excellent job, in carrying

      I have always had a true admiration and love for the Jewish people, as a young boy I instinctively knew that there was something different and interesting about my Jewish friend and I had a deeper respect without really knowing why. Now that I am older and wiser I realize that the Spirit of the Lord was testifying to my young soul of the very real truth that God’s chosen people from the beginning , throughout history, even now are the Jewish people. I love them deeply as a people, I pray for them to be protected and yet acknowledge the role that their nation plays in the ‘end times’ and I weep to know of the calamity we all must soon face for the sake of the righteous and those searching for righteousness, so many only needing a guiding hand to help them on their way. God bless Israel, may the righteous among all nations be protected with the might and power of the Lord, may He lead us all to safe pastures when the arrival of trouble is nigh at hand.

      Beckisnuts, is your thinking so cynical and shallow that, if someone determines a different route (to get his message out) and it costs money–that it is automatically a “scam” if he charges for his product/service? Wow. I’m really going broke at having to pay $4.95 a month! I’m not getting ANYTHING for that $4.95 either–what a ripoff!

      Glenn is offering a product/service. So far, I feel I‘m getting more than my money’s worth so what’s your problem?!? LOL You don’t want it, it’s not of value to you, then don’t buy it! That’s the way free marketing works–and is supposed to work.

      Getting paid for work, asking for money for a product or service is NOT automatically, evil.

      FACT: Joe Lieberman has distanced himself from Beck and will not be with him in Israel.(TOLD YOU SO!!!!)

      FACT: Glenn lost his credibility when he painted President Obama as a racist.

      I have a hard time getting behind someone whose theology is as questionable as John Hagee’s. But, of course, Glenn is a mormon, so it makes sense that his own theology will be off quite a bit. I still like Glenn, but when he starts talking about God, I sometimes cringe at the things he says. However, I do believe Glenn’s pursuit of God is sincere, and pray he will come to a fuller knowledge of the truth in time.

    I’ve always appreciated Becks efforts to keep us informed on what has gone wrong with our country and the world at large. I agree with most of his assessment on what the solution is as well. But I have to say that his blubbering love affair with Israel has gotten out of hand. I am a Evangelical Christian who rightly believes that Jesus IS THE ONLY begotten Son of God and the only Savior of the world. Beck is a member of the Mormon LDS church, a religion that denies Christ deity. The religious Jew ALSO denies Jesus’ deity. My question is to my brethren.
    Please tell me how this event is on the side of Jesus the Savior and final Judge of the world? Is God double minded? Is He deliberately being deceptive when His word is very clear on who is of His church and who isn’t? Judaism is a dead religion just like Mormonism, specifically BECAUSE they deny His deity. Can someone show me how Becks message fits with over 2000 years of established Christian Theology?

      Not being a superstitious person, I find this entire spectacle to be spilling over with delusion and misguided emotion. Your comments Marshall1963, however, are valid and do have merit. What is really going on here? Marketing savvy people recognize this as a well staged promotion for the launch of GBTV. It is obvious and frankly, appalling. To use religion as a springboard for making money is vile and contrary to the message of Christianity and this circus, led by Pastor PT Beckum is disgusting.

      A point to keep in mind is that regardless what you think of Isreal or the Jewish faith, Jerusalem is the Holy City for Christians. For many this is enough to support Isreal and prevent the Islamists from taking over.

      Of course if you actually spell out the name of his church it’s The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Not sure how you can claim a group of people who identify themselves by taking on the name of deity deny His existence. And given the stance this administration has taken regarding Israel I’m glad Glenn is organizing support for them.       You are misinformed. Mormons do not deny the divinity of Christ. We do, however, reject the Trinitarian concept of the Godhead.

      One of the stated purposes of the Book of Mormon, “—Which is to show unto the remnant of the house of Israel what great things the Lord hath done for their fathers; and that they may know the covenants of the Lord, that they are not cast off forever—And also to the convincing of the Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations—”. That is directly from the title page, which according to us was written by the last prophet in the Book of Mormon over 1500 years ago.

      The Book of Mormon, as well as our official doctrine and curriculum since the beginning of the restoration of the Church affirms the divinity of Christ. As an actual Mormon myself, I will tell you that I worship Jesus of Nazareth, who is the Christ. He is my God and my King. He is the Creator, the Redeemer, and the Judge of mankind.

      Marshall1963, please let me say I have considered the very things you have considered. I have had the same concerns as you. Having said that, I was reminded of a time in my life when I indeed had accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior (for real, not just the words, “going down front” in a church, etc.) In fact, I came to Him literally on my knees, in my bedroom, by my bed–alone–on a summer afternoon. I left my room a changed person–and I didn’t even understand EVERYTHING yet. But getting back to this time–for some time–before I was taught, before I really studied the Bible for myself–before discipleship–I didn‘t understand or recognize Jesus’ deity, either. Did that mean I was not saved? No. It meant, I didn’t have full understanding about EVERYTHING about God. You know what? I still don’t! Because God is too big for our mortal minds to FULLY comprehend!

      But–I came to this understanding, oddly enough–while waiting for my husband in the car while he ran into the store. He had a book sitting on his dash. I opened it–and an author explained the deity of Christ. I was appalled (at myself!). I’d been a Christian for a number of years–gone to church, studied the Bible. . but I didn’t REJECT the deity of Christ. I just didn’t UNDERSTAND it. Big difference. But once it was explained–in simple words–I accepted this truth–right there, alone again.. sitting in a hot car! LOL

LOL My faith has become only stronger over time as I HAVE researched, questioned my world, questioned my God, etc. I’ve been doing this for years and years but it amazes me that some folks like you cannot fathom that others can do these things and think differently than you do. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (The Mormons) absolutely believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. Their very first article of faith states “We believe in God the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost”. They are all deity and compose the Godhead. The Jews do not revere Jesus Christ as a God. The Mormons do.       Exactly right. Having been a supporter for the existence and sovereignty of Israel all my life, there should be a demarcation line between the two arguments (the secular and spiritual). Israel is not Israel in the biblical sense as long as they reject Christ and persecute christians. Having been there twice and can say as a fact that christians are not allowed to proselytize (witness) openly about their faith. It is simply forbidden. It is a fact that over 85% of Israelis are not practicing Jews or agnostic. So why do the Israelis encourage all faiths to come and see the rich history of that land? Simply put its tourism. They know which side their bread is buttered on. And for those who think I’m being intolerant, read the bible again. Read the Apostles words to their own people, the Jews, concerning their unbelief in Jesus the Messiah.
      For those who are Mormon, the fact that your doctrine denies the Trinity, is a denial of Christ deity and any religion that proclaims that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers is obviously a false religion. It’s all spelled out quite clearly in the New Testament how to identify a counterfeit belief, NOT the book of Mormon. Which was written, consequently, in the 19th century.

      I, too, am an evangelical. My pastor would be hard-pressed to explain how Judaism is a “dead religion”. Also, just what, exactly, is a “religious jew”? Hmmm. Seems a bit of concealed anti-semitism here, IMHO. The New Testament is the book for the christian, and those under the New Covenant. The Old Testament is for those under the old law. The Jews, or Hebrews. I have read both books several times, and I’ll be darned if I can recall a portion in the New Testament that states that the Old Testament no longer applies to the people it was written for. I can, as assuredly, write that I can find ample evidence that the New Testament applies to the people it was written for, Christ’s church. I can find no evidence, in either book, that the one does not apply to the other, except for the New Testament. It clearly states that Old Testament laws regarding diet and a few other items, are superceded by those that accept Jesus as their Savior.The only Old Testament persons affected by this would be the Messianic Jews. Perhaps you could point out my error, in Chapter & Verse.

    The greatest mystery too me is how a practacing Jew can take on the modern liberal philosophy. It reminds me of their actions in regard to Hitler and the total lack of resistance they exhibited. This flies in the face of their reaction 2,000 years ago when Pilate said renounce your God or die and they chose death. He, even Pilate, was totally moved by that. The second mystery is how the US government, lead by the liberals, is ignoring the needs of the Jews in Israel right now. Israel has taught the world how to deal with enemies and we are spitting on their grave right now. We saved them in WWII and we need to do it again.

    The Jewish people are the apple of God’s eye-like all people who deny Him and are filled with their own selfish desires, God weeps over them and loves them…standing with Israel, we as a family will do, as long as there is breath in us.

    As God watches over them so will we…we love Jesus Christ with all our hearts and souls and Jesus was a Jew. His people, even though many have left their G_d, will one day return seeing His complete and utter destruction of those who seek their innilation and will again love Him with their whole hearts.

      Why is your God so filled with petty emotions such as jealousy, revenge, and selfishness? Why does your god need to ask people to kill their children as a test of their loyalty and love, even when he must know the outcome in advance? Have you ever considered these things? The answer is of course, because your god is a creation of bronze age men. This entire fable, and all the others that the rest of the religions are founded on, are all man made. We now have women in positions of power all over the western world. Your god must have seen this coming, yet in the Bible and the Koran, women are second class citizens, if not almost possessions. True words inspired by a divine entity would never allow this injustice. A male dominated society that created a narrative and called it god’s word would. This entire sham is shameful. Wake up and do your own homework on the history of civilization and religion and you will see the truth. It is very, very hard work and takes tremendous courage, but knowing the truth is worth it.

      Peaches, Glenn judges the hearts and minds and motivations of others every day on his radio show. In fact, his show is all about that and practically nothing else. The topper was when he and his syncophants Pat and StuMagoo ridiculed that poor unfortunate woman from Eugene, OR a few weeks ago. Imagine how that woman and her loved ones felt to hear a bully like Beck trash her on national radio for an hour. Glenn Beck’s behavior was sad and disgusting to say the very least.

    I thought it was wonderful–watched the whole thing Sunday.

    Glenn looked so HAPPY and that was SO SO GOOD to see! I would have watched it just to see the joy on his face–truly!

    I know sometimes it seems like the whole world is against him and it has to be really crushing. I KNOW what it is like to be a leader–to be both loved AND hated–but not to the degree Glenn has experienced, of course! I KNOW what it is like to have a loved one–a spouse in that same position, too. I know how it affects the entire FAMILY and EVERYONE who loves them.

    I’m so often amazed at how cruel some people can be–and then I meet the ones Glenn meets, too–the ones who love God and country and their fellow men. The ones who are working hard, help others, etc.

    GOD BLESS GLENN BECK. PERIOD.

      QPWillie, I agree we should pray for people who are so miserable in their own lives that they want everyone else to be miserable too. We should pray for those so bent on destroying–destroying anything that even remotely looks good and honorable. These have to be some of the saddest people on our planet–truly! To spend one’s time in such hatred and bitterness–truly sad. Do they not realize there is a principle they cannot escape–for whatever they sow (whether good or bad), they too shall REAP?!?

      In “modern day language,“ this is often worded as ”What goes around, comes around“ and other ”spiritual” people who don’t want anything to do with God sometimes call it KARMA.

      Personally I think what Glenn is doing is quiet remarkable. He is bringing together people of different faiths, nationalities, and people of all beliefs. I think it is a wonderful thing that we can all stand united.

      Poverty, I truly do understand from where you are coming–but it isn’t for us to judge what God in Whom others are placing their faith and trust–or not. Only God knows the hearts of people.

      Aside from other things I know (and I can‘t claim to know Glenn’s heart and neither can you), if I was a bettinig person (which I am not), I‘d say Glenn’s heart is with the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob–the same One I love and worship.

      JESUS said it is by their *fruits* we would recognize other believers. Jesus did NOT say we’d know them by the church they attend (or don’t), by their political beliefs, –not even their words. He said we’d know them by their *fruits.* While we can’t judge (not our place), we can discern fruits.

      Is Glenn’s “fruit” good – or bad? Evil – or good? Don’t just try to figure this out on your own, either–pray about it! Ask God. If YOU have any sensitivty to His voice at all, He can tell you.

      In ANY case this is what I say: GOD BLESS GLENN BECK!

      Everybody’s saving faith, if you have ten people with saving faith, those ten people are going to have different patterns of obedience and disobedience.  You can’t arbitrarily say numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, all have to show the same fruit.  That’s baloney.  You didn’t show the same fruit when you first became a Christian and you know it, I know it and we’re just fooling ourselves to think that we all show the same fruit of obedience.  You just have to look at two Christians to see it’s a different pattern.  Two kids grow differently. So you have to watch it there.  You can’t ram, cram and jam some litmus test to know whether saving faith is present or not, this is by external.  Faith can only be indirectly observed by an external observer. Moreover, saving faith can become so weak that fruit is practically invisible as seen in the lives of Abraham’s great grandsons.

      Who places the value of your fruit? God? Or other men? Who are enslaved?

      Poverty, I never said everyone is going to have the “same amount of fruit.” All I did was quote JESUS. HE said, “You will know them BY THEIR FRUITS. Whether they are GOOD or EVIL. Not “equal!”

      JESUS said WE (believers, His followers) would know them by their fruit (fruit of the Spirit).

      Did Jesus lie? I don’t think so!

      So if we can know other believers BY THEIR FRUIT (not amount, FRUIT), love, peace, joy, patience, etc.–it is the Holy Spirit Who works THROUGH US to display this fruit. We need to PRAY for discernment to determine if the fruit is either GOOD (of God) or EVIL.

      No one is perfect. But we can look at overall lifestyles, overall fruit.

      To whom does Glenn give glory?

      His salvation is NOT for us to judge. It is GOD’S place alone to determine that. You do NOT know Glenn’s heart–neither do I. But from his “fruit” I think Glenn belongs to God. If I’m wrong, God can deal with me on that. You don’t need to act on His behalf with me or anyone else. But you’re free to believe what you wish–as am I.

    One must wonder about why Glenn has taken this path. Surely by supporting Israel he’s not, in a far fetched manner, trying to bring about the apocalypse?
    And as for peace in the middle east, there is an easy solution. If the contested areas no longer existed except as a plain of glass then there would be nothing more to fight about.       Part of what is wrong in America is that many have turned from God. He says it very clearly “when Ye do as I say ye have my promise, when ye do not as I say, ye have no promise.” We used to be a truly God fearing country, and we prospered, then we started trying to write laws that defied God, and guess what? The progressives in this country have tried to take us down a very bad road,” they draw close to God with their toungues but their hearts are far from me,” and it is costing us in every way. Now, men like Glenn are calling on us to wake up, turn back to God, so our country will have all the blessings again. YES, this country has made horrible mistakes, but the people who believed have tried to build a rightous nation, and we have been sliding away from the truths. Thank God for Glenn and the good men and women of religion who are calling for the revival of truths and belief. Standing with Israel is the smartest thing our country can do to obtain the blessings of God, and we need them, our country desperatly needs the blessings.

    Hate to spoil the party but Christians need to remember…(1) Jews still reject Christ. Glenn talks about how Israel have honoured God for so long…that isn’t what the Bible says. They have rejected the Lord’s anointed and as Paul states in Romans 9 “Not all Israel are Israel”. Glenn and others are blurring this Biblical distinction between the nation of Israel and the Israel of God – His church. (2) Let’s remember too that Glenn rejects Christ. He is a Mormon and orthodox Christianity has long stood against the error of Mormonism. We should pray for Israel and stand with them against terrorists but I fear this event is overlooking the claims of the Bible and Jesus.

      Don’t be stupid—Mormans believe in Christ the same as other Christians do. I know some who are better people spiritually than some who profess Christianity.

      I too have heard Glenn on many occasions layout the plan of salvation and the atonement through Christ’s blood – that Salvation comes through believing on what Christ did on the cross, shedding his blood for our sins AND NOTHING ELSE – that there’s no other way except to believe on Christ and his shed bled and repent of your sins. I know Catholics that are saved as well, not because of the doctrine they may be caught up in, but by believing in what Christ did for them on the cross and that there is no other way. I have never heard Glenn add anything to this condition. MANY people are caught in denominational teachings that dont agree with each other – but until they go against what God said about salvation through his Son – quit getting caught up in the differences – and focus on the one AND ONLY requirement to be saved – then by the fruits of their labor you may know them. I guarantee you that everyone can argue for hours defending each ones denominational believes – but how about we give praise and rejoice together with one another that know Christ – HE IS THE COMMON denominator. Until someone states otherwise quit arguing over every little aspect of doctrine.

      @SCOTT and others ~~~~ “Guys”, don’t worry about the JEWS. Don’t worry about Glenn. Pray for both / for all. JESUS knows our hearts. Thank GOD our church doctrines do not decide who goes to HEAVEN.

      My husband and I belong to a denomination that is so messed up with social doctrine it stinks on ice (to quote a man we all know and love); however, we can and we do worship GOD ALMIGHTY MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH at the individual church we attend. I do not know others’ beliefs or hearts in that church. It appears to me that way too many are missing the boat HOME, and given the opportunity, I will tell them so. What I can do now where I am is pray for them. I‘d bet that is what Glenn does for his denomination’s lost…just like you and I do it for those in our denominations who are lost.

      About the JEWS and JESUS…the JEWS will recognize JESUS when HE COMES IN POWER AND MIGHT, HE WILL BE THEIR KING OF KING AND LORD OF LORDS and they will now HIM AS HE IS. This is GOD’S plan for their salvation much like the thief on the cross who at the last minute “got it” about JESUS.

      CHRISTIANS, pray on for our brothers and sisters in the faith no matter which rung of the ladder they are on. It is our duty to pray for one another and to love one another and to stand with COURAGE.

      Billions of people reject Christ everyday.

      Christ was Jewish so I’m sure He has nothing against the Jews. In fact, He said Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.

      My neighbors reject Christ. Guy mows his lawn on Sunday mornings. If you hate Jews, even you reject christ’s teachings to love.

      Actually, as the idea of the trinity came out of a political council and not directly from the Bible (many, many versus contend with the idea of the Trinity in interpretation) it isno surprise that Glenn would adopt a Christian faith that sticks with a literal interpretation, minus the politics of the Nicean Creed.

      That’s 100% right! I am a Jew and I certainly reject your so called Messiah.Not only am I a Jew,but I was born of Christian parents and I converted to Judaism 30 years ago! I now live in Israel and am raising the next generation of Jews,commited to Torah and mitzvot and the land of Israel.

      Kickagrandma, well said. It is GOD and GOD ALONE who will one day sort the “sheep” (His true believers.followers) from the “goats” (those who have rejected Jesus). WE don’t have to do that–thank GOD! :)

      There are “wheat” (true believers) and “tares” (non believers) in every single church–Jesus said so. We cannot tell other believers by their church denomination or lack of one. Jesus said we’d know them by their fruits–but that doesn’t mean we always get that right, either. ;)

      All we can do is to share God’s love with others and let GOD worry about the rest!
