Watch: Incredible Post-SCOTUS Episodes of The Glenn Beck Program and ‘Real News’ Airs Here

On Thursday, the Supreme Court upheld the individual mandate on which the fate of Obamacare hinged, ruling it constitutional as a tax. Worse yet, it was “conservative” Chief Justice John Roberts who cast the deciding vote, swaying the victory in President Obama’s favor. Because this is such a historic moment in our nation’s history, Glenn Beck made all GBTV coverage on Thursday available free of charge. The night‘s episode of Beck’s program opened in quite a memorable way. ”Sons and daughters of America!” exclaimed Beck as he rode onto the GBTV set perched atop a dark brown horse. “We stand here together, today, in defiance of tyranny.”

It boils down to Chief Justice Roberts “selling us out,” according to Beck, who reminded viewers that even left-leaning Justice Kennedy came to the conservative side in this instance. Ironically, liberals once dubbed Justice Roberts a corporate lawyer and “right wing ideologue.” Interestingly enough, they are likely singing his praises now.

Beck, impassioned like perhaps never before, urged viewers to get the “spineless, progressive cowards” out of office, and instead elect leaders who actually wish to be true “servants of the people.“ He also asked viewers to ”register everyone you can” to vote.

The Supreme Court’s decision is harmful, according to Beck, because it now leaves the door open for new taxes to become lawful. Beck asked what is to stop Mayor Michael Bloomberg, for instance, from taxing people for not working out.

“America lost a battle today.”

“The Left has woken a sleeping giant,” he added before declaring that, once beaten, Americans will dust themselves off, rise up and just when it seems all is lost, “kick some a**.”

“Today the American people are now fully awake,” Beck said, adding that we will make Obama “a thing of the past.” He also had choice words for President George W. Bush, blaming him for appointing progressive John Roberts.

“We are paying the price of that mistake,” he observed.“ Then we ”made another one in 2008.”

He promised to give Obama “the biggest mandate” America has ever seen in 2012.

Later on in the broadcast, Beck conducted a series of interviews with his radio co-host Stu Burguiere, FreedomWorks founder Matt Kibbe, and radio host Kevin Jackson.

    If you have a job, your chances of receiving a pink slip significantly increased. An employer has to pay all those increased taxes or face sanctions ranging from seizing of assets, garnishing of wages, and even prison time, an employer has the option of laying off personnel without recourse.

If it does then it must be revisited, now. If not, it’s illegal to follow it.”

    Glenn , when I went to your site – GBTV – during the episode , written across the screen behind you was written, ” This is not the Jesus Show, “ nor the ” gandi either ” – now don‘t know if it came from your site or from another site’s interference. If , you want anything to do with Jesus, then why was this plastered across ? Or, is it another site causing the interference ? Too much interference across the board.

    I look forward to the show and I for one will be at FreePAC in Dallas after this ruling. This is my first time attending anything of the sort. I also feel like there is a reason Glenn is in Texas, just not sure what it is.

      Ann, I work in the healthcare field and can assure you that even under Obamacare there will be people without healthcare. They will have the worse of two worlds now. They will have no healthcare and pay a penalty tax for not having it. Nobody wins here.

      Freaks? How the hell do you get off calling someone a freak because we disagree with you about how this country should be run? There are a freaking multitude of socialist countries that you could move your ass to, I personally don’t want my country to be socialist I kind of like it the way it is. I don’t need the government to take care of me, I can buy health insurance on my own and decide what procedures I do and do not want. You are a complete idiot if you think that the government taking over healthcare is a good thing. Just remove yourself from your utopian dream for a minute and think about everything that the government runs and tell me which one isn’t a complete mess. Post Office about 70 billion dollars in the hole every year, education has gotten worse every year since the department was created, social security is being paid with borrowed money, medicare/medicaid is the same, and you want the government to implement a program that it has already been proven will cost 1 trillion more than they said it was going to cost, which means in the end it will cost about 3 trillion more than what we were told. Where you going to get that money from bright one?

      ann…..those that had a free ride will still have a free ride, those that are going to get a free ride……exempted…….can better afford the new healthcare tax than those that are going to have to try to pay for this disaster. Healthcare for all but the super rich will suffer gravely. I guess the super rich will be going to cuba and other third world countries that seem to be known for their great health care. Lotus.

      The Rich will continue to get what they can and want to pay for. Nothing you or any other Marxist dirtbag can do will ever stop them. What you *can* do is force them to move to other places where Freedom still exists. They will, just like California, leave when it becomes a problem. They take the Jobs and the Taxes (that you covet so intensely) with them.

      This decision just sealed our fate (unless Romney can get it repealed). If another Great Depression was what you were hoping for then you will be pleased with what happens next.

    I will never support GBTV as Beck supports communists like MLK and Mandela. Mandela and the ANC are as anti-white as they come. Beck needs to step back and look at what multicultarilsm and the diversity agenda have done to the core principles this nation was founded on. Until he is able to embrace the U.S. as a nation founded by white european men based on the traditions and cultures of white european nations…he just seems like the rest of the progressives. Romney will do nothing to close the borders, to stop the welfare abuse and Congress granting million+ third world citizenships each year. America is losing its foundation in an attempt to be everything to every race, culture religion etc…

      As a member of a founding family in Canada, who knows our own history, I am fully aware of how and when the Europeans imported their versions of Marxist socialism/communism and used multiculturalism to gain power. This is not an issue of race and colour this is an issue of entitlement ideology.

      Additionally, this country kicked God out some time ago and these post-war secular Europeans took full advantage of it. Along with the destruction of the sanctity of marriage, abortion on demand, even to just before birth, is legal. They got their Socialized medicine and now (and I believe they will succeed) are lobbying for euthanasia, like they have in Europe. The gay & lesbian lobby, which owns Europe, are now the new bullies on the school grounds and the current version of anti-American sentiment which has spread over us like a cancer, and was imported here by the American draft-dodgers during the Vietnam war, found fertile ground among the post war European immigrant populations which settled here.
      What you are experiencing in America today has nothing to do with Mexicans or non-whites. It is an ideology born of both a Middle Eastern and European belief in their own superiority which demands that they receive special status and privileges that the rest of us are obligated to provide.
      Just ask George Soros or that despicable, Canadian, Maurice Strong.

    The Supreme Court has handed to the cronies in Washington, through their ruling on Obamacare, the power and legitimacy to force the citizens of The United States to purchase anything they deem fit!  
    Solyndra wouldn’t have gone bankrupt…just pass a law requiring all homeowners to install solar panels or pay a fine (tax).  
    General Motors…All families must have an alternative fuel vehicle such as The Volt or pay a fine (tax).
    The citizens of the United States have been losing their freedoms for a hundred years but have been blind to it.  Liberty has been lost today with this decision and a line in the sand has been crossed.

    Believe it or not, this will only make defeating Obama easier. Now Obama has to defend a major tax increase in the middle of a depression. It is not merely a recession. At least Roberts put up walls that the government can never toy with anymore. We have retribution available to all of us when congress implements taxes, it’s called YOUR VOTE. This decision is not the be-all-end-all. He knows that we will clean house this November while at the same time putting limits on future progressive agendas.

      The fine that people will pay was construed as a tax & the politicians have to admit it now & in the future if they try something like this again. Obama & the Dems are now responsible for the largest tax increase on low & moderate income people and small businesses in history.

Just think had he not been a coward and supported the only candidate for the Constitution. Instead we have the guy that created Obamacare, the same guy who in 2009 praised Obama for using his plan as the nominee because Beck lacked balls.

    Oh and dont give me the crap about “he was supporting Santorum”. He just bashed Bush as a progressive today and Santorum voted for every piece of crap bill Bush wanted. Never once did he side against Bush.
