Watch Karen Santorum’s Emotional Response to Question About the Diagnosis of Her Daughter Bella

While answering a question at an event about the diagnosis of her daughter Bella, who is disabled, Karen Santorum choked up and delivered a highly emotional response.

The moment was captured by C-SPAN cameras at “Moms Matter 2012,” a forum hosted in Myrtle Beach, S.C, by a group called CafeMoms. Karen is the wife of Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum.

“We got the diagnosis on our little girl Bella four days after her birth. It was a really hard time,” Karen said, her voice cracking. “We had lost a baby so that’s all I could think about.” It’s well-known that the Santorum’s suffered through a miscarriage in 1996. Their daughter Bella was born in 2008 and diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a disease similar to Down syndrome.

You’re right, there’s rumors that this guy Santorum likes to play hook-em-up with male pages and interns on behalf of some of the older and more tenured male politicians. He is supposedly connected to the Penn State child sex abuse scandal as well.

Perhaps if he was really concerned with his daughter’s condition and the condition of many daughters and sons across the country he would do something as a politician to stop the governemnt from putting multiple chemicals under the name of “fluoride” into our tap water and Bisphenol A into our food containers and other products.

Because it matters when we’re talking about people who allow Bisphenol A and fluoride in our water, which are known hormonal disruptors and estrogen mimickers.

Fluoride concentrates in the pineal gland which disrupts production of melatonin which in turn regulates your biological clock and circadian rhythms (puberty). It causes early puberty, which in turn decreases your life span. We’re being domesticated like dogs.

      Bisphenol A is synthetic estrogen.

I don’t want to become a female. Do you?

Rick Santorum wants you to become a female by force.

A great lady. My daughter lost a one month old boy a year ago and she is still suffering. I believe that no man can understand a mothers deep sorrow at the loss of a child. A mothers love is the closest thing to Christs love that we can ever wittness upon this earth. She will freely sacrifice her own life to save her child. No that’s not the point of this article. If it was it would be titled “Woman” talks about daughter’s trisomy 18.

This article is nothing but an attempt to conjure support via emotional appeal for their candidate of choice. Sympathy can be a powerful tool, but none the less a tool of cowards. Your subconscious may now be thinking “Oh I should vote for Santorum because poor him he had something bad happen to him!”. That’s the reason why almost ALL commercials now a days deal strictly with emotional appeal and never present facts. As in if you buy this beer you’ll be really popular and have girls fawning all over your. Or if you don‘t buy this product then you’ll be a loser with no friends.

In the end ask yourself this question. How does having Santorum’s wife talking about their disabled child prove he is fit to be a good leader of a nation? It doesn’t.

The Santourm‘s and the’ morally than thou’ ANTIS would be wise to stop telling this story of holding their baby a when it died 2 hours after birth. Karen Santorum had to have an abortion for MEDICAL reasons. She did NOT CHOOSE to have an abortion. That’s one fact.

And this is your business because….. you are (a) a paulbot intent on inflicting as much pain as possible, (b) an onager who found his way to the USA by accident, or (c) a kool-aid drinking Obama zombie who just realized your guy is an onager and want to influct as much pain as possible before you follow your fellow lemmings in jumping off the cliff. Please let us know so we can “help” you appropriately.

Like I said, if I have to endure name-calling and abuse, so be it. I’ll gladly sacrifice myself for the greater good.

      Vechorik
I dont think you posted it right. try this way.

How did Ricky meet and pick his wife and the mother of his children?

Before she was Mrs. Santorum, she was Karen Garver, a woman who spent the better part of her 20s living with Tom Allen, an obstetrician and abortion provider 40 years her senior, and the man who helped deliver her.

Now that has a much nicer ring to it.

Vechorik, I KNEW your were a foreigner. Russian, I’m guessing. What was the name you were using when posting this crap on Hot Air? As I recall, you‘re a Brave’s fan, too. Well, you’re still a despicable loser and if you continue down this hateful path, things will not end well for you. And considering how you claim your wife had a miscarriage, I would think you’d be more senstive this time around, especially when you had to admit you were wrong about everything you said about the Santorums last go ’round.. Folks, this guy is a complete waste of time…ignore him!
