That’s my tribute, tuning out and saying a prayer for America and the victims.

Posted on September 11, 2011 at 1:43pmI and my spouse attended a local ceremony this morning. All the politicians were sitting up high on the stand. One stood up to speak and basically said, No one, except for family members, should be shedding a tear anymore for those lost in 9/11. He said, in a few words, that we needed to get over it and move on. I simply stared in disbelief to what he was saying and did not acknowledge him (by clapping) when this conceded fool was done. Next to me was a gentleman quietly holding a framed flag. He lost his father who was an officer during 9/11. All around me, people continue to mourn those who have fallen. What gave him the right to say I am not allowed to mourn along with these people? This was our Pearl Harbor moment. No one is going to take that away from me. I will always remember. Don’t dare try to change the language of that fateful day.

My heart crys along with all the victims, families, fire and police, but I cant watch these politicians and other liberal fools make over this memorial like a bunch of opportunists. They’ve excluded the fire fighters, families, and religeons.
I believe God would have us make this a holy day of rememberance and repentance before Him. A day when we as a nation come before God on our knees seeking His wisdom, His understandng, and mostly His mercy on our nation. We have neglected his Word and failed to nurture His Spirit in America. Time for repentance and returning….not show time.

Does this not piss you off??? I woke up this morning in a bad mood knowing that the Families have been dissed, the first responders have been ignored, the military has been forgotten.
Our elected officials suck – ALL OF THEM. November 2012 cannot get here fast enough.
God Bless everyone directly affected by this and to those who are still fighting. Some of us support you while many just want to move on and pretend. We will never forget.

It’s an embarrassment that this is not a completed site and that environmental groups and green organizations have impeded the progress of America – not just here, but all over this great land.
