The victims are the taxpayer, who are told at the point of a gun to yield up their incomes for the support of non families.

We’re not “intelligent” enough to understand that‘s it’s “better for everyone if you spread the wealth around”. So of course we would be happy with the “Progressives” if the outcomes had been better.
