Posted on August 24, 2012 at 6:22pmWith all the psych testing and vetting just to become a SEAL, let alone a member of Team 6, how did this guy slip through?

Posted on August 24, 2012 at 5:08pmThe facts have now been so muddled that the truth can hide with impunity.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 7:07pmQuestion : Do we wait for truth to come from this administration, or do we look for it elsewhere ?
Report Post »I wonder just who is more frustrated, the public at large, or those who are, or have served in uniform ? Anyone who believes the truth will and is coming from this administration , is either grossly
stupid, or naive, or both. Example: From this administration: We have not heard from the gentleman who claimed Romney caused his wife’s death. In fact the Obama rep who said had spoken in a con call with the same gentleman on that very subject. That same rep,, stated she will and is, making up numbers to make Obama look good on the economy. I rest my case.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 3:40pmSo, let us all understand this situation.
Report Post »The White House announced the death of the number 1 most wanted terrorist within hours after a special operation was sent to do the deed. Then, we all were treated to a view of the White House situation room and all the ‘players’ involved as they watched the secret operation on television. Then, the name of the ‘team’, and the fact that they would be visiting the White House – and the date that would happen – was announced to the public. Bless them for not actually naming names, which delayed everyone, including the enemy, from finding them and their families immediately. Then the White House, some military higher ups and many administration spokespeople met with Hollywood elites and gave details of the raid for an upcoming ‘movie’ about the raid.
Now, someone who was there writes a truthful account of what actually happened, which differs greatly from the Hollywood embellished version, and suddenly the Navy Seal hero is in trouble with the military, the White House and Hollywood.
I‘m sickened by the attitude of the ’new’ Democratic party, the ‘new’ military leaders who appear to go out of their way to protect the enemies rights, while holding their heroic military personnel to a standard so high they aren’t even allowed to protect themselves and their families.
I’ll take the true version by an actual hero anyday.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 4:03pmYou are right, this book is a propaganda operation, planned by Obama operatives, who wrote the book. People don’t buy this crap, send money to charities related to soldiers instead.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 3:11pmFor crying out loud, when you start allowing Hollywood have access to our military how big a stretch is it for a soldier to come out with a book. Regardless of any secrets are revealed, which I highly doubt, it is still beneath the dignity of a SEAL to do this. On the other hand he has a family and needs income but this is not the way. How ’bout we actually pay these heroes accordingly so are not tempted to write a book in the first place!

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 2:43pmI do believe this author should be denounced…as a fraud. Clearly, it is now understood that Commando-in-Chief Barack Obama road into Pakistan in a government-built Volt and single-handedly took care of business.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 2:38pmRight, wrong or indifferent, the media had NO right to provide his identity and the town/state he lives in! What secrets are left for this man to tell after Hollywood was fully briefed?
I think the, “hoopla” about this is it will refocus the spot light of the mission from Pres Obama to where it belongs: The Navy SEALS. The Pres is about to lose this election and he needs for as many people as possible to believe he, “lead” the mission.
As for the money, he said most of the proceeds are going to SEAL charities. I’ve already pre-ordered the book, for that reason alone.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 4:20pmI agree completely Karen…that’s the first thing I thought of. WHY are they revealing his real name and where he lives??? That was wrong no matter what.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 2:32pmLets start this off by saying Our SEALS are the best of the best and deserve our respect for the selfless acts of sacrifice they offer our nation. I Salute our SEALS with Pride ! If they have chosen to write a book then as long as those involved have not broken their oath then I SUPPORT THEM. They EARNED THE RIGHT to speak freely and without ridicule. On the flip side if the compromise their oath or place fellow SEALS and Service Members in peril then they should be sanctioned for it. I SAY LET THEM HAVE THEIR SAY AND LET THE WIRTE WHAT EVER THEY CHOOSE. after all they earned that right.

Posted on August 23, 2012 at 2:15pmIf the Seals are not allowed to disclose classified or sensitive information, then YES, THEY SHOULD BE PROSECUTED if they do, indeed, disclose that info. So, until that book is read and digested, this seems to be all hoopla. I am sure this guy will not disclose and further risk his life and his family’s lives with the legal ramifications.
A PROMISE BY A NAVY SEAL SHOULD BE A PROMISE IN TACT FOR LIFE.
I have so much respect for the Navy Seals and it would break my heart if this guy tells any classified or sensitive info. HE WILL LOSE HIS CREDIBILITY AND RESPECT IF HE DOES THIS!
