Time:
Japan was struck by a 8.9 earthquake off the northeastern coast of the island on Friday afternoon about 3PM local time. Initially reported as a weaker earthquake, buildings in Tokyo shook for several minutes.
A tsunami warning has been issued, with warnings that waves of up to 20 feet high could strike Japan’s shores. Several buildings in Japan are reported to be on fire. All transportation systems, including airports, have been closed in Tokyo.
Warnings and watches have been issued for a wide area including Japan, Russia, Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and Hawaii. Reports say that the tsunami has already hit Japan. In Taiwan, the tsunami is expected to arrive at 9:30 GMT.

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 9:20amMy heart aches for the good people of Japan….weird, but I had a dream about a similar disaster happening in Asia a few days ago. Anyway, God please BLESS them and take into your ever loving arms the ones who pass on. Ease the horror and suffering of those who remain. A timely reminder, for those who may doubt that there IS surely a God, that we humans are tiny and fragile. God’s nature is a mighty force, and we can’t do a THING about it! And yet He loves each and every soul that HE created!! Amazing, huh?……Mark 13 —Jesus tells us “Earthquakes in divers places, ” ..but that that is not the end, yet….just the beginning of sorrows (that word sorrows in Greek is “birth-pangs”). Like the earth is preparing for the birth of a new age. Very interesting times to live in, hmmm?

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 8:35amThe Japanese are primarily Shinto and Buddhist. They believe in spirits of their dead ancestors with a nice helping of Buddhist nothingness. I don’t mean to rude, but they don’t understand what God bless you means.

Actually, this one is much better:
Matthew 24:7 (New International Version, ©2011)
7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and EARTHQUAKES in various places.
I do believe earthquakes are now more frequent and more devastating than they have ever been.
N. America will get hit with one soon, maybe before the end of the year. Beware those of you who are not ready to meet your maker. You know not when your life will end. What have you done for Jesus?

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 5:53amWe are seeing only just the beginning of this.. I had CNBC on and they were already running video from the devastated areas… looks like a nuke went off and everything got hit/ pushed by the blast wave! We are being tested for sure with everything going on in the world and here in the US, consider this a warning shot for whats coming down the road!
Seeing many Blazers commenting on family/ friends over there or close by say a prayer for them!
I hate to do this…. but… we must watch the other hand right now. All of the media will be on this but this is the perfect time for those in DC, special interests etc to take advantage of things, plus today is supposedly Saudi Arabia‘s ’Day of Rage’.
Stay vigilant the devils hands are busy!

Posted on March 11, 2011 at 7:13amThis is huge. For some perspective on a magnitude 8.9, it is greater than a 7.9 by a factor of 30. This is not a Richter scale measurement. The Richter scale was replaced by the moment magnitude scale, a more accurate scale, which takes into account more factors than just ground movement.
Please pray for the good people of Japan.
