Report Post »====================================
1) Keep the budget the same as last year (no need to raise $1.5T)
2) Do not to pay back $1.6T to FED, they are nobody, cancel that debt.
3) Neo-cons cut some of Pentagon, progressives some of Affirmative-Action entitlements.

No need hysteria or scare tactics to drive innocent seniors nuts.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 6:36pmThe GOP and the Tea Party are the only ones it seems that can possibly save our great nation. Obama and the rest of his socialists should be sent to prison for life for treason.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 6:26pmBoehner & McConnell both must go. NOW!. All they have been doing is trying to figure out how to make us believe that they were trying to cut spending, without really cutting spending. Boehner’s biggest problem was figuring out a way to cave to the dems, while appearing strong. Didn’t work. I won‘t rest until he’s gone.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 5:20pm‘debt bill standoff’? Where’s the stand-off? Usually, there have to be two sides bringing something to negotiate- all the dimocraps bring is an empty picnic basket. It’s no where near a standoff, and if ***** wasn’t so stupid, he‘d realize he’s being conned again.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:43pmIt’s time to look the Obama in the face and say.”Sir you are a damn liar.”
Report Post »The world is not going to end tuesday. The only damage that this can do to this country is what Obama brings down on it. It is very simple. That man is a radical bent on taking down the man. he was taught that since he was born. somehow even in harvard he was convinced that he was being held back. I am just too damn tired of people and their need to be the victim. They have no meaning unless it is to fight against some imagined adversary. This mindset is weak and eventually it will have to be confronted in the only way it will allow. This mental sickness called liberalism and the unwillingness of stronger men to deal with it will drag us all down. Do not give a job to a liberal, offer them NO help of any kind. Make them support themselves or suffer the fate of their convictions. If you think for a second they are actively not engaged in doing that to conservatives then you are a child. They hate you and want you gone and will let you starve in the street. All the while they will blame you for their problems. Humanity as a global race has a sickness. Now is the time to stand for a cure.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:29pmNothing done today matters at all unless we win in 2012. No real change can be effected let alone made permanent. We need the mushy middles focussed on what the problem is; government spending.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:20pmDAY 1: The debt limit is increased by $ 1 Trillion dollars,
Day 2: Miraculously, $ 1 Trillion dollars is cut from federal spending; all in the White house and Congress celebrate.
Day 3: US government spends $ 1 Trillion dollars in additional spending maxing out the debt ceiling;
White House and Congress officials blame one another and appeal to the American people for an additional increase in the debt ceiling due to immediate crisis.
SOUND FAMILIAR. THESE BASTAGES NEED TO STOP — PERIOD !!!

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:17pmTell me Again, how important it was for Boehner to pass his bill immediatly……..just to be voted down by the senate ??? someone explain the importance of strong arming the tea party for this vote??
Report Post »Contrarian51
Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:40pmWell, the Tea Party also strong-armed Boehner into including the Balanced Budget Amendment provisions that doomed it before it was done being written. Plenty of tit for tat all around on this idiocy.
My take is that Boehner’s biggest goal was to get something passed and dare the Democrats to so what they did. At that point, there have now been three separate pieces of legislation sent to the Senate that Harry Reid won’t even allow to be debated, much less voted on. Meanwhile, the Democrats have advanced nothing, including no budget measures beyond continuing resolutions, even while controlling the House, Senate and White House. If the American public can’t figure out from there what the problem is, we’re all screwed anyway.

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:05pmCOMPROMISE
A Democrat and Republican were lost in the jungle in the land of Spendolofit. They were trying to find a way out but couldn’t agree on a strategy. The Democrat insisted on running into unfamiliar areas, going fast and way ahead of the Republican.
Sure enough, the Democrat ran into a very large pool of quicksand and before he could stop was twenty feet from the edge of the pool (and sinking to his knees) when the Republican arrived at the edge and said “Grab this rope and let me pull you back here to the edge, or you will sink and take our water supply with you”.
The Democrat said, “There you go again, telling me what to do, thinking you have the only solution. I’ll tell you what, lets compromise. Lets meet halfway!”

Posted on July 30, 2011 at 4:03pmThe ball has been in Obama’s and Reids court for a while now. The fact that they dont want to deal straight to the Repubs is a clear indication that the President has no intrest. The only intrest Obama has is to cover his own butt.
