    I‘m still laughing from the ’liver-lip’ remark–AWESOME! Jesus forgive me, but seriously this man is doing his best to take away what you gave us–America, one nation under God and WE THE PEOPLE are fed up with his lies. We see through all the ‘trickery’. We pray for those elected to do right by us who still hold true to the ‘gift’ You gave us–follow the Constitution, stand strong against the storm and just say “No you won’t take away what God has given us”!

    A great way to save a waste of energy would be to STOP all paychecks for the politicians in Washington that are destroying the United States of America. Shut down the White House, take away Baracks fleet of airplanes, helicopters and car. Fire the entire staff of Michelle Obama which is one of the biggest wastes of American tax dollars in the history of our country
    I was just thinking for the FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I am truly ashamed of our government. The entire Obama administration is a disgrace to everything good. Liars, phonys, deceivers, thieves, the whole lot should be prosecuted for treason and sent to prison for life.

    Liar in Chief. If tomorrow Obama told the world that all oil drilling restrictions were to be immediately lifted in the USA, per barrel and pump prices would plummet. My belief is that within six months per gallon retail regular gas would again be in the low two dollar plus range. That would change everything!

    Shut the government down, we can deal with crap that flows in the US for once and for all. The worthless liberal biased media is screaming fowl, if we shut down, saying senior citizens are going to litter the streets with there dead bodies. I am a senior citizen and I refuse to die for a lying liberal. What I am afraid of is dying at the mercy of Obama and the democrats healthcare plan when I have to face the death panels and just take the pill.

    President Obama wants congress to be responsible, compromise, and work out their differences.Ther’s been no fuderal budget since before the 2008 elections. His vision is for a sustained, consistant energy policy, good ideas, home grown energy, and a comprehensive energy policy.The president said, ” I want to double our wind,solar, nuclear,natural gas, and clean coal to supply 85 percent of our electric needs”. Then the first question, about the“smart grid”. That’s when in turned into a townhall meeting with what seemed to me was well staged with plenty of lead in questions. Then he was asked about coal. Which he said, “we are the saudia arabia of coal”, but we can not use it because of the health hazards, and only clean coal will be used. Lead in questions dominated this event.

    Mr. Obama doesn’t realize we live in a Represenitive Republic not a Democracy, he also doesn’t understand that no where in the world is alternative energy supplying enough energy to run a country, any country. He touts the budget, but it was his party that didn’t pass a budget, he had a majority in congress and senate, he attempts to blame the republicans for it but they were the minority, he could have passed a budget way before now. It’s the same old story blame others and point the finger at the other guy and hope no one listening to you remembers the truth.

    I wish he were talking about his impeachment, and how innocent he really is. No disrespect intended Mr President, but I really wish you were on Americas side. The news just keeps getting better and better, soon well all jump for joy at the rolling blackouts caused by ceasing production of energy produced by so called “ dirty methods” without having the capacity to replace it’s loss by clean methods.
    Plus, I won’t be listening to you Obama, I heard quite enough out of your mouth already this lifetime.

      I couldn‘t bring myself to listen to it but I’m sure we’ll hear about altervative energy on a non-stop basis until the 2012 election. Obama has failed on every other issue what else can he campaign on; Cap & Trade and Alternative energy and all the millions of jobs it’s going to create. Yippie!!!

      Contact John Boehner and Your Representatives, People. Flood their in-boxes with support, telling them to: Stand Firm! Call Obama’s Bluff! Shut’er Down! And then, to set the wheels rolling to Fire The-Big-Spender-In-Chief.

      Then, email obama, telling him that you are actively supporting John Boehner, et al. Because, John Boehner, et al, are Speaking for America. That he, et al, DO NOT speak for America! That he is SO FIRED!

      Don’t just blog, here, America! Keep America’s elected employees, on both sides of the aisle, knowing that America is Watching and America is Paying Attention and America Hires and Fires Via The Vote!

      We can make synthetic oil for $20 a barrel, there is 100% no reason for oil to be more than that other than manipulation of prices by liberals hell bent of destroying the middle class.

      No reason to shut down the government, just cut salaries across the board 20%, tell workers if you don’t like it, quit (I work for the government, so this would effect me personally). Cut out all 8A contracts that ad 20% to the cost of government purchases, and buy through fair competitive bid process. Make all people in medicare, medicare, ssi, come in for face to face quarterly visits to verify they still need/are eligible for benefits, Mississippi did this and cut out nearly 30% in fraud from their programs.

      It takes from $38-$40 to get oil out of the ground today. You are not going to see $20 oil again.
      Best go to natural gas for electric production today. There is a surplus of that now .

      He’s scolding the Repubs for holding up the budget, when his administration did not even bother to create one last year. The finger-pointing and frightening words he uses are meant to distract us from his role in this fiasco. Look beyond his rhetoric and see it for what it is, a ploy to hand-off blame and grab all the credit at the same time.
