Posted on July 31, 2011 at 5:55pmYup, just keep spending, borrowing and printing more money. That will be the final nail in our coffin and all the Commies and Arabs can go celebrate the demise of the Great Satin. THE Greatest Nation on Earth will be no more….

Posted on July 31, 2011 at 2:54pmA woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost. She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a boat below. She shouted to him,
“Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don’t know where I am.”
The man consulted his portable GPS and replied, “You’re in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet above ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude.
She rolled her eyes and said, “You must be a Republican.
“I am,” replied the man. “How did you know?”
“Well,” answered the balloonist, “everything you told me is technically correct. But I have no idea what to do with your information, and I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help to me.”
The man smiled and responded, “You must be an Obama-Democrat.”
“I am,” replied the balloonist. “How did you know?”
“Well,” said the man, “you don’t know where you are — or where you are going. You’ve risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise you have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to solve your problem.
Report Post »You’re in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but somehow, now it’s my fault.”

Posted on July 31, 2011 at 1:36pmMembers leaving the capital at this crucial time? What kind of crap is that? I’ve worked all day saturdays at my job and I did not have the future of my country in my hands. Anybody out of my district that leaves before this is settled will have me not only voting against them, but, campaining against them too!!!!! Leaving Washington is not, I repeat, NOT doing the peoples work for which they were hired to begin with. If they are tired they can sleep in their office.

Posted on July 31, 2011 at 2:37pmDoes anybody still know just what the job of the US Government is? Hint, there job is to protect us from invasion, and to protect our liberty, (freedom). Giving out money to the poor, or other nations is NOT in their job description. Creating departments like DEA, HUD, and Education are also not within their powers or authority.
Read Congress’s job description, US Constitution Article 1, Section 8. Those 18 powers are the list of the only things they are authorized to do. The proof of that is the 10th Amendment.
Get the government back to the job they were sworn to do and this debt problem will be gone.

Posted on July 31, 2011 at 1:28pmThe farm subsidies wouldn’t be needed if the farmers would just go to Washington with their pickups and load up with the manure from the floors of Congress. All the free fertilizer they could ever use.

Posted on July 31, 2011 at 12:55pmI am watching but its the same old bickering over the failed stimulus and also who voted for what years ago. Where is the plan? If we are not discussing a real plan we are just wasting time.
I’ve watched videos from Rubio/Kerry, and Rand Paul and these three guys seem willing to deal with the problem sincerely. However, none of them are in the discussions. Why not? Why are they just hanging around wainting to vote. I don’t get it. The people that are most likely to the right and responsible thing are not in the disucssion.
