Watch: Man Hangs From a Hot Air Balloon…By His Skin, Piercings

Zane Whitmore of Seattle, Washington, is clearly a daredevil. In what can only described as a grotesquely dangerous stunt, he hung from the bottom of a hot air balloon for 75 minutes. That, of course, is the dangerous part.

Now for the gross part: He was suspended by four hooks that were placed into piercings in his shoulder blades. You can watch a quick clip of Whitmore’s experience below:

    Reminds me of the story where the guru guy could withstand extreme cold without shivering. Mind-over-matter sort of thing. I couldn’t concentrate on anything hard enough to forget I was in pain.

      ………. the intriguing thing about the snakes is how we humans do not take into account the activity of the animals that also inhabit this planet; then we pay the consequences. I think it is bordering on criminal what the mortgage company and the Realtor did to this family.

      this hook hanger guy …well he is doing something extreme – who are we to judge? he hurts no one. this kind of thinking directed to other avenues in life could perhaps generate maybe the next APPLE?

      First off all, snakes and now this, yes indeed.

      Second of all, there may be grounds for civil charges against the bank if it can be proven in court that they indeed knew of the problem with snakes, did nothing about it and went out of their way to cover it up. I think there was an affidavid signed by the buyers though in regards to the problem of the snakes…I may be wrong though.

      Third, most humans have a bit of common sense and brains (when used) to know better than to do such crazy things as this guy did; if there was any truly rational or even remotly logical reasoning to this matter, then it may be, unlikely as it could, justifiable. Right now though, it looks just like another person seeking his 15 minutes of fame who may run for the next open democratic office in his district or DC.
