See the Entire Fast & Furious Scandal…in 62 Seconds

The Obama administration’s Fast and Furious scandal is still raging, with Congressional Republicans continuing to press Attorney General Eric Holder on the details — and documents — pertaining to the case. On Thursday, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) gave Holder an ultimatum, pressing even harder for the Justice Department to release the remainder of the documents surrounding the operation.

If Holder and the Department release the materials, the contempt of Congress vote that is scheduled for next week will essentially be nixed. This, of course, comes as the debate between Republicans and Democrats on the issue reaches a boiling point.

If you’re coming a bit late in the game to the Fast and Furious saga, considering watching the conservative American Future Fund’s (AFF) new 62-second video showcasing a recap of all of the events comprising it, in sequence. The AFF describes the scandal as follows:

In December 2010, US Border Control Agent Brian Terry was gunned down while on duty.  The high power assault rifles found at the scene were linked to the Justice Department’s Operation Fast and Furious.  Agent Terry’s tragic death is only one of many violent crimes linked to the guns lost in the botched action.  More than 1,700 guns still remain unaccounted for.

Obama and his administration continue to deny any knowledge or take responsibility.  Under oath, Attorney General Eric Holder said he had known nothing about Fast and Furious until a few weeks prior to his testimony.  But Justice Department documents reveal that Holder had, in fact, known of the operation for more than a year.

AFF Founder Nick Ryan stated, “The lies, cover-up and reckless abuse of power in this failed operation are astounding.  It was authorized and sanctioned by the Obama Administration.  They need to own it and be accountable for the tragedies as a result.”

    So the Conservatives want to ‘pressure’ Holder because he perjured himself before Congress? NO!

    This man Holder is a TRAITOR, and should be IMPEACHED and tryed for TREASON. He sold weapons to the Mexican drug cartels (our enemies) that have killed god knows how many American citizens, and officials. Then he denighs any knowledge of it?

      I would really like the Blaze staff to pull all the comments that Holder, Clinton and all the rest of the democrats were making back in 2009 about how the US was to blame for the gun violence in Mexico and how congress needed to pass stricter gun laws to “help” Mexico with its problem.

      Helloooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

      They let the guns walk to strengthen the case to pass anti-gun legislation. That strategy goes straight to the top.

      Every single democrat that knew about this plan to let the guns walk, so they could pass their anti-gun legislation should be charged with at the very least manslaughter.

      How can we bring this to the attention of the Blaze staff so they can run with the story?

      I don’t have the time to do this, because I need to get back to work. But if you do have the time please start posting all the news stories from 2009 where Holder, Clinton and the other dems pointed to the gun violence in Mexico as the fault of the US because our guns were being purchased here and used down there.

    Remember when Obama started appointing his czars and his Far Left policies ? That was the beginning of the end . Side-stepping the legislative branch, congress . Remember when he, so un- presidentially, trashed the SCOTUS during his State of the Union speech ? That was his disrespecting the judicial branch . This president , his administration and his media cohorts have been disrespecting our American constitution ever since they started “ occupying ” the White House with their pre-packaged, Far Left , international-style agenda.

    It is unlikely anyone can logically explain this operation. It seems glaringly obvious that tracking these weapons could only conclude at a crime scene, with the variables being an arrest for wounding or murdering someone.
    Holder may skate through this investigation, but his future will be tarnished.

      The logic (on the LEFT) is to make us “bad American gun lovers” look bad by letting Mexicans get guns so easily….
      Since we “bad Americans” are so irresponsible… we shouldn’t be allowed to possess guns…. since our only goal is to give them to Mexico and turn a quick profit…. SO…. we NEED the government to protect us and enact tougher gun control laws…

      It depends on the logic you want to hear.
      1.Establish a picture of black market, illegal, gang, and cartels in a method similar to a contrast dye for a cat scan, flood the area, and see what is there.
      2.Establish a justification for more strict enforcement of gun laws and curtailing of the 2nd Amendment; the pretext a more “secure” society. The end result a militaristic fascist state, with central control, and the citizenry powerless to the control.
      3.De-stabilize Mexico to the point of needing intervention from the United States, to which sovereignty is lost to a North American Union agreement. The US covets Mexico’s resources.

    Sorry … not the whole story … what about the demand letters on multiple long gun purchase in Southern States … what about “under the radar” comments about gun control to Sarah Brady … what about substantiating claims of 95% of cartel weapons coming from US dealers … WHAT ABOUT THE DEMON-CRATIC SPIN LINE TRYING TO ATTACH FAST AND FURIOUS (STARTED IN 2009) TO OPERATION WIDE RECEIVER, WHICH WAS A SUCCESS?

    This is just more of the continuing criminal enterprise that the WH has become.

      What about the Deputy Attorney General Ogden on March 09 clearly showed that the Obama admin and AG Holder all knew about Gun Runner/F n F. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PNhYk9NuNc What about the letter sent to congress in Feb 2011 that the DoJ had to request be retracted because it was completely inaccurate. What about the emails between ATF agents that talked about how they could use this to push for more gun regs. What about the fact that 6 months after Terry was killed the AG had still not talked to Pres Obama, Sec of State Clinton, DHS Napolitano, the Mexican President or AG about Fast n Furious.

    Jaime Zapata and 300 mexicans died right? If Obama loses the elections and leaves next January he won’t be able to exonerate Holder unless Holder is convicted before then. So dragging it out until Obama is out of the White House won’t help Holder.

    Pursue the LEAKING of damaging/ sensitive information to the media by their “allies ” in the Obama administration. Both of these groups have water boarded the American people with their propaganda for the past 3 1/2 years. The media manipulation which the Left has orchestrated needs serious investigation. Under the Obama administration, their media cohorts have literally become the Fourth Branch of our government . Look at the media trial of Zimmerman !     Holder should be arrested, prosecuted and jailed for this, unless he fully cooperates with Issa, and they can get to the bottom of this.

    This nation is finished if our justice system is not revamped. Today it is about who you know, like it was under King George.

    Time for a real change, before we end up with another revolution. I fear that it might be too late :

    Perhaps we one day will look back and regret that we did not do more to elect Ron Paul elected..

    The average American is letting this nation dwindle away, while they are busy entertaining themselves with TV, sports and other pleasant activities, while celebrating that “We put a man on the moon” etc…

    Holder will be pardoned by Obama and they can walk into the sunset holding hands… Holder does Obama’s dirty work, gets caught, Obama pardons him and its all well and good – everyone wins – except Americans.

    My hope is somewhat restored that the continual efforts to investigate Fast and Furious have finally managed to get the issue prominently on the table. Even the mainstream media can’t bury the story anymore.

    I just hope that by the time a federal judge pronounces Eric Holder “Guilty as charged” for crimes of treason against the USA, that I am honored by being asked to buy the new rope to carry out the sentence of the court.

    Holder’s latest corrupt practice revealed is a big-time swindle involving a resort property in Montana, a judge appointed by Carter and some Democratic Party high rollers. But, this is small potatos to the death of Agent Terry and the hundreds of Mexican citizens killed with these guns.

    Perhaps a better fate for Holder would be to be sentenced to life in a MEXICAN prison!
