Watch the Other Hand: Biden Uses Sleight-of-Hand to Nab Speech From 3-Year-Old

Watch the other hand. That’s the phrase Glenn Beck often invokes when describing the Obama administration. Now he has some video evidence.

While swearing in senators on Wednesday, the three-year-old son of Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) grabbed Biden’s script. After trying to reason with the boy, Biden realized he had to get more innovative. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out a bargaining chip — a mint.

While playing a mint-in-the-hand guessing game with the boy, Biden snatched the speech back while the boy was enthralled with the candy. As Beck would say, “watch the other hand”:

(H/T: Mediaite)

Politico also published video of Biden telling some of the other children that we need jobs:

From Politico:

And after he administered the oath to Georgia’s Johnny Isakson, the senator’s grandson, Jack, had a question for Biden: Could construction workers build a LEGO shop in Washington?

“I’ll tell you what, I’ll work with grandpop to see if we can get that done,” said Biden. “We need jobs, Jack. The kid’s thinking! He wants to build a LEGO shop here.”

Oh! I misunderstood the headline! I thought Crazy Joe needed a speech so he tricked a 3-yr. old and stole his! He stole speeches before, unless I’m wrong! LOL! But now I see that’s not what happened. I’m surprised Crazy Joe can outsmart a 3-yr. old!

And we, as Americans, are so blessed to be able to live, study, and work in freedom. Those who feel that they have been somehow oppressed by the current administration clearly have no idea what it really means to live under a fascist or totalitarian regime — and perhaps do not really understand the meanings of those words.

I’m not a fan of Biden, but why didn‘t the parent’s step in and get it back for him? I can’t stand spoiled kids with parents that think everything their little angel does is sooooo cute. I commend Biden for his quick thinking on this one, I only hope the kid got a paper cut and a laxative in exchange.

Have Joe resign the Vice Presidency, give it to Hillary, at least she has a functioning brain in her head, and make Ol‘ Joe Bobby Gibbsee’s REPLACEMENT as Press Secretary. What a hoot!

I like the stories on the Blaze and I like reading the many responses that they garner, but… the quality of the grammar and spelling is really low. Now, don’t get me wrong, I can understand if a few articles had some spelling mistakes here and there, but seriously, this is getting out of hand (get it?), I don’t like people who have to harp on other peoples grammar and spelling, but there’s a point where it gets on my nerves as well. Whew, glad I got that off of my chest… I need a mint…

I was disgusted by the lack of solemnity, and the almost comical nature of the swearing in. It was as though the Senators were smirking “oh sure we give a darn about the constitution. we are here just to stuff our pockets and our sponsors’ pockets with tax payers loot.”

I agree. He did what any experienced parent would do… if a child takes something they shouldn‘t you don’t just grab it out of their hands, you offer then something else that they can have.

This doesn’t merit reporting… and it certainly shouldn’t be spun as something indicative of a darker hidden nature.

If the Blaze is going to garner a reputation for telling the truth and not spinning stories for some agenda (yeah, I know… none of us are happy with the dems right now but still..) there’s no room for stories like this.

IMHO you should pull this story.

True, they use the bait and switch distraction game; along the way they also use the distraction of smoke and lights coming from their mouths, ears and eyes to try and intimidate the people who are crazy enough to listen to them.

I still find it funny that Biden had the speech grabbed by a three year old; makes me wonder which of the two is the smarter after all.
