Watch This Man Struggle to Stay Awake During a Joe Biden Speech

A man seated on stage behind Vice President Joe Biden during a speech Friday appeared to have a bit of a difficult time staying awake.
The ironic part? A line in Biden’s speech reportedly contained the phrase “Americans are tired of being tired.”
Video of the speech at North Carolina‘s Davidson County Community College shows a man over the vice president’s shoulder close his eyes then seem to struggle to open them again. His face twitches and he tips forward slightly before shifting positions and rubbing his eyes in an effort to stay engaged.
WXII-TV on Biden’s address, which focused on the importance of community colleges:
“We have pride in our great state universities, but we feel like a part of our community colleges,” the vice president said. “Community colleges are part of the fabric of our communities.”
President Barack Obama’s fiscal year 2013 budget proposal includes a new $8-billion Community to Career fund to forge partnerships between community colleges and businesses to provide training for workers.
“Americans are tired of being tired,” Joe Biden said. “It‘s clear that the American people have decided it’s time to get up. They‘re tired of being told that we’re in a long, slow drift.”

Of course, this could be considered karmic payback for last April, when Biden seemed to get caught catching some shut-eye of his own during a presidential address.

Posted on February 24, 2012 at 6:09pmWhat this buffoon fails to grasp is the fact that our schools have drop Industrial Arts classes where future Tool & Die Makers started learning the various metal crafts at an early age. Because of dolts like Biden, our schools have decided that we need to spend more time teaching kids about social programs and other garbage that does not help them when looking for a job. Not everyone belongs in college.
Give students options like Metal Shop, Machine Shop, Printing, Wood Shop, etc. They will be able to offer more to their families and our country than jerks like Biden have ever been able to offer.

We used Acetylene torches and Arc welders. Poured molten Aluminum into sand castings.
These activities could not occur today because of litigation etc…
Wood Shop:
Band saw chisel, hammer, table saw…
Drafting:
Mechanical pencil and ruler… to scale, drafting table, title block with perfect lettering…
I even heard of a class for working on cars….

Posted on February 24, 2012 at 6:08pmWhat is keeping me awake is what Biden was saying in his speech, that everyone needs higher education and now that the government controls the student loan process means everyone will be indebted to the government from that point it would be so easy to create the civilian corp that will be as large and well funded as the military, just offer the indebted students mandatory “voluntary” service to the government as a way to pay off their loans.
