Watch Woman Cry Tears of Disgust Over Receiving Ron Paul Book for Christmas — Staged?

The following is a video of a young woman receiving Ron Paul’s book “Liberty Defined” as a Christmas present. Rather than express joy over her gift, however, upon reading an excerpt from the book aloud in which Paul allegedly refers to Israel as an “apartheid state,” the woman cries. Whether this was a staged event remains to be verified, but in the video the woman displays shock and horror over Paul’s views on Israel and is visibly displeased with her Yuletide gift.

Viral Video of Woman Crying Over Ron Paul Book that Calls Israel an Apartheid State Staged?

Bloggers on other websites claim that in Liberty Defined, Paul is not calling Israel an apartheid state himself, but is actually referring to questions raised by the liberal party in Israel over perceived “apartheid” conditions.

A Yahoo commenter with the screen-name “Need Nationalism” shares what he claims are Paul’s actual words:

“Meanwhile, within Israeli politics, there is a great deal of debate and diversity of opinion. The Liberal party in Israel often raises questions about the apartheid conditions that Palestinians are subjected to. “

It should be noted, however, that in Liberty Defined (in addition to comments made outside the book) Paul makes no secret of the fact that he deems the Israeli blockade of Palestinians in Gaza as ”inhumane.” In that portion of the book, Paul does not include the context or security reasons for Israel’s blockade.

“Blockading the Palestinians in Gaza has proven to be a dangerous and inhumane policy that has precipitated a worldwide condemnation of Israel,” writes Paul. Many supporters of Israel, however, will likely find such comments in line with the “Israel is an apartheid state” narrative commonly adopted by Israel’s foes.

Not much else is known about this video except that, according to Mediaite, it is going viral…and that, if this is not a staged reaction, the woman is not on board with Paul’s politics.

The Blaze contacted a source familiar with the making of the video who claims the scene was captured by someone identified to us as the girl’s brother during a Christmas gathering in Escondido, California on Saturday. The man’s sister — presumably the one seen in the video — allegedly uploaded the clip to a Twitter service before ultimately taking it down. The source also claims that the video was “slightly staged,“ noting the woman ”over-acts” as soon as she sees the camera. See for yourself below:

Do you think this video is staged at all? Even if it is staged, is the woman perhaps attempting to make a point about Paul’s views on Israel?

What are your thoughts on this video and Paul’s views on Israel? Do you believe Paul thinks there is merit to the “Israel is an apartheid state” argument? Weigh in below.

Ron Paul is honorable enough to not take part in the Congress pension plan. He does not believe that any of them should be paid for life. He has more character in his little finger than your entire family‘s body’s combined. You progressives just lie and lie continually. It seems to me that it is impossible to have an educated conversation with the likes of you and your progressive friends.

“WASHINGTON, DC – US Representative Ron Paul (R-TX) today reaffirmed his opposition to what he calls the “immoral” congressional pension system by refusing to participate in it. While serving in Congress from 1976 to 1984, Paul chose not to participate in the system, despite a taxpayer-funded pay-out which is more lucrative than any private system. He said high-dollar perks like the pension are areas that could be safely cut immediately, without hurting a single American taxpayer.”
“The situation is even worse today than it was before,” Paul said. “When I served in the late ‘70s and early ’80s, the congressman had to actually write a letter to enter the program, I simply chose not to sign-up. Today, however, everyone is automatically placed in the system and house members are required to write a letter requesting that they not be included in the program.”

Ron Paul wrote the letter. Keep throwing out your lies so we can show everyone who you progressives are. It helps Pauls campaign.

It would appear that Ron Paul does not hold a Dispensationalist view of Israel, sad to say.

But this does not make him anti-Israel. Indeed, his foreign policy would strengthen Israel.

In Ron Paul’s financial release it says that he has made millions but its been investing in gold and silver. To me, that is practicing what he’s been preaching for over thirty years; unlike some other members in Congress who do get sweet insider deals.

He is the only member of Congress who returns the unused portion of money allotted for his Congressional office to the treasury each year. In my reading of Ron Paul‘s Book he doesn’t take a position on Israel. He wants Israel to be free. Ron Paul wants Israel to be free from Washington D. C. who is restricting their sovereignty, with threats of foreign aid being withheld if they misbehave and don’t consult the politicians before making decision. That is the real threat to Israel’s security.

And as a concerned citizen who loves Israel, if Israel is attacked and needs help I and a million other citizens will go over there and defend them. Our military is supposed to defend Our borders. I will freely choose to fight for a cause, like they did during the revolutionary war. Wars aren’t won with gadgets. Wars are won on the ground with guns and men with heart. Go Ron Paul. He’s the only candidate that wants Israel to TRULY be free.

No, if you look the majority of his portfolio is in Gold and Silver mining companies and has been for almost 10 years. Ron Paul has been talking about the effects of the Fed and getting away from the Gold standard for years. He knew what would happen to the price of Gold when our money wasn’t tied to it anymore. You call him an insider trader? How comical.

Paul is to the right of Romney and Gingrich on every issue conservatives find unsettling about both candidates. But Paul does dissent from contemporary Republican orthodoxy on foreign policy. It is without question foreign policy that makes Paul “unelectable” in the eyes of the Republican establishment but Romney and Gingrich ultimately acceptable despite their countless big-government offenses.

Even the slightest hint that a Republican candidate could be wandering off the neocon reservation causes immediate alarm. During a Republican debate in June, Romney dared to say: “It’s time for us to bring our troops home as soon as we possibly can … our troops shouldn’t go off and try and fight a war of independence for another nation.”

Politico’s Ben Smith reported: “Danielle Pletka, vice president for foreign and defense policy studies at the conservative American Enterprise Institute, said her inbox was flooded Tuesday morning with emails calling Romney’s comments a ‘disaster.’”

“I’d thought of Romney as a mainstream Republican — supporting American strength and American leadership, but this doesn’t reflect that,” she said. “Romney has proven himself a little bit of a weathervane and I guess he senses that this position is good for his campaign — attempting to appease Ron Paul’s constituents without actually being Ron Paul.”

I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that we should pray for the peace of Israel (Jerusalem). We should also support the “true” Jews that God has set aside. As for the new age dispensationalism pandered by money grubbing Preachers, Pastors, Priests and much of the clergy? All that is, is religion, not the truth according to the Torah.

I don’t believe we should be building Israel beyond the normal interactions of our friends, or how it relates to our direct National Security. Radical Zionism is as perverted as Islam is. I wouldn‘t give 2 cents to a B’nai Israel (including B‘nai B’rith) cult. It’s interwoven with the Crestone Institute, and the Aspen Institute (now owned by the freak show known as Colorado College) along with the Rothchilds bastard cult.

Worthless filth like Obama and Gingrich, Biden, the Bushes are all part of that cesspool of homegrown American trash.

Zionists ARE NOT Jews, but I do believe that Ron Paul needs to learn how to differentiate, and support the Jews who are truly Jews.

Not sure exactly who you’re responding to, but if it‘s me I’d suggest you ask if I was bashing him, or simply making an observation. After Cain dropped out of the election 100% of my political donations go to Ron Paul because I believe that he’s the only candidate worthy of a vote. I simply believe he needs to do better research on the difference between Jews and Zionists because he’s way off base on that particular issue. I’m also 100% behind the majority of his idea’s on foreign policy, but sometimes even our friends need help.

Problem being, our current politics are so crazy that Ron Paul’s “crazy” ideas are seen as such just because they’re actually logical and sane. The apartheid definition is harsh, but there are many cross-overs. I’d say the biggest problem is using an emotionally charged word like apartheid, rather than something less inflammatory: Israel makes non-Jews in the country second-class citizens.

Marriage: citizenship is not conferred to those living in the West Bank or Gaza through marriage to an Israeli citizen. Children of such marriages are also not considered Israeli citizens and are forced to leave Israel by age 12.
Systemic discrimination: In legal rights (cases favor pro-Israeli, anti-Palestinian verdicts, statistical fact); society in general (Arabs are much less likely to gain promotions or positions than Jews).
Segregation: The city of Lod, for example, where Jewish and Arab settlements are separated by walls, and Jewish settlement growth is encouraged while Arab growth is restricted by the government.
Education: In the 90′s, Jewish students receive almost twice the spending per student on average compared to Palestinian students.
Movement: Despite not having voting rights or Israeli citizenship, the West Bank is blocked by the Israeli military to hinder potential suicide bombers. Checkpoints are set up, some roads are forbidden to Palestinians.

So, there are a lot of examples. I think apartheid is too charged to use though.

Perhaps Ron Paul needs to read what was quoted in Martin Niemöller, 1892-1984 (1984) by James Bentley, p. 214

” I have never concealed the fact and said it before the court in 1938 that I came from an anti-Semitic past and tradition… I ask only that you look at my life historically and take it as history. I believe that from 1933 I truly represented the Lutheran-Christian outlook on the Jewish question — as I revealed before the court — but that I returned home after eight years’ imprisonment as a completely different person.”

For those who may be interested in the powers of propaganda such as those that FOX News holds over many let me share with you something that happened with me last night. First of all I prefer FOX over all other news outlets; yet, it is still dangerous and they certainly have a treacherous agenda. My poor old mother is so indoctrinated by FOX news that I believe if they suggested killing Ron Paul supporters then she’d act upon that suggestion. It is simply incredible to watch the effect which that Media has on my mom. She’s not educated and not very informed other than what FOX tells her so she’s taken hook line and sinker.

Anyway I tried to show her an informative video on my IPhone last night regarding Ron Paul’s view on Foreign Affairs. I’m sure many have watched the awesome 13 minute video on YouTube detailing the wisdom of Dr. Paul’s vision for our military. She literally couldn’t watch it. She started squirming and saying that it made her sad… Obviously what upset her was the fact she was being forced to here facts which challenges FOX News versions of the news…

I’m telling you these Media conglomerates are going to have to be broken up if the Republic is to have any chance of survival. They are far too powerful and dangerous.

Today, within Israel, Jews are a majority, but the Arab minority are full citizens with voting rights and representation in the government. Under apartheid black South Africans could not vote and were not citizens of the country in which they are the overwhelming majority of the population.

The situation of Palestinians in the territories — won by Israel in a defensive war forced upon it by its neighbors—is different. The security requirements of the nation, and a violent insurrection in the territories, have forced Israel to impose restrictions on Arab residents of the West Bank that are not necessary inside Israel’s pre-1967 borders. The Palestinians in the territories, typically, dispute Israel’s right to exist whereas blacks did not seek the destruction of South Africa, only the apartheid regime.

If Israel were to give Palestinians full citizenship, it would mean the territories had been annexed. No Israeli government has been prepared to take that step.

Meanwhile, Palestinians from the territories are allowed to work in Israel and receive similar pay and benefits to their Jewish counterparts. They are allowed to attend schools and universities. Palestinians have been given opportunities to run many of their own affairs. None of this was true for South African blacks.

Israel is NOT an apartheid state!

“Meanwhile, within Israeli politics, there is a great deal of debate and diversity of opinion. The Liberal party in Israel often raises questions about the apartheid conditions that Palestinians are subjected to. ”

Now, unless there is something else I am not seeing, you are seeing the corrupt media and establishment shaking in their boots and grasping at straws trying to trash the only real candidate that is willing to fight for our freedom, liberty, and fiscal sanity. Ron Paul is one of the strongest supporters of Israel. He just doesn’t want us to fight their wars. Neither do I. They do not have a constitution focusing on individual liberties so they do not have as much personal freedom. Fighting for them is not fighting for the same values as here. Although I question a lot of what I have fought for while I’ve been in the Army. It certainly hasn’t been values.

Without going into many great details and reciting Israel policy, the most visible evidence that Jewish Israel is tolerant of others is the fact that the Dome of The Rock still stands where the Jewish temple stood before it was destroyed. That and putting up with rockets being fired at them costantly and not just bulldozing the Palistinians into the ocean for being responsible for it.

I guess not wanting to send twice as much “foreign aide” to Israel’s enemies as we do to Israel is anti-Israel. Just like being the only congressman in 1995 to vote to allow Israel to strike Iran is anti-Israel. Or Netanyahu telling congress that “Israel doesn’t need America to defend her,” is anti-Israel. I mean, they only have 300 nukes.

Maybe us wanting a destabilized middle east is good for Israel. Or continuing the same foreign policy that has worked so well for us to this point is a good thing. Better yet, lets spend trillions more dollars fighting Iran. We‘ll really be able to defend ourselves from an attack from a REAL military threat when we can’t afford diesel for tanks or jet fuel… Get real people.

I used to be worried about Israel too..but then the people who have a heart for Israel..have one because of their faith in the Bible..Israel has said that she wants our verbal support..We Christians verbally support her. If you really have faith and believe the Bible..then read Zech 12,13 and 14..God will gather the nations to go against her..and that is to bring judgment against those nations..nothing to do with us Christians. Then Jerusalem will realize she has pierced her own God..(Jesus Christ) and all houses of Israel will mourn. That is when a fount is opened for cleansing..then only one third will hold to their faith and make it into the millenial kingdom of Jesus, and the rest will be taken out..Do you believe God? Also..the Catholic Church has been making an effort to unite all religions and the spokesman for the Vatican has said unless Israel relinquishes control of the Holy sites in Jerusalem to the Vatican..then there will be no peace in the Middle East..how’s that for power from the one who created Islam? Now back to us..Ron Paul will take to the Congress any requests for help.Have it be a Congressional decision..If war is declared..get in..win..get out.
We are 16 trillion broke..we are running out of trees on which to print money..No money no gas no defense. Paul is the only one who voted for Israel bombing one of her neignbors..Our Presidents have stifled her.

Everyone should be more prepared for Ron’s words to be taken out of context and used against him.

If someone reads this particular passage, Ron is not directly calling Israel an apartheid state – the passage reads:

“Today, the Israel political lobby is a powerful political force. Two to three hundred nuclear weapons, under Israel’s control, make Israel more powerful than all the Arab and Muslim countries put together. But that’s not where the real power lies. The UN can labor tirelessly in “controlling” one nuclear weapon (in Iran) that doesn’t exist while the international community does not put pressure on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. In contrast, the world community rarely even admits that Israel’s nukes exist – and at the same time Iran has never been ruled in non-compliance with the NPT. The fact that Muslim nations become annoyed with this policy is written off by most in the West by charging anti-Semitism. Meanwhile, within Israeli politics there is a great deal of debate and diversity of opinion. The Liberal Party in Israel often raises questions about the apartheid conditions that Palestinians are subjected to. Even newspapers in Israel are willing to discuss this issue openly, but it is essentially never permitted in the United States. – Liberty Defined

FINALLY THE TRUTH OF WHAT THE BOOKS SAYS:
      that statement says the following:
“A political party FROM ISRAEL claims that …….Palestinians are treated unfairly”. This is 180degrees turn from the initial claim who argued Ron Paul labeled Israel as apartheid state.
They`ve switched from political party in Israel to Ron Paul making X statement.
Oh and btw… Code Pink supports the claim that Palestinians are treated as second hand citizens in Israel. Guess you all know who Code Pink is, right? The pro-Obama progressive left wing liberal love fest org.

They changed the ENTIRE article — was WRONG before — changed it and now wrong about this:

It should be noted, however, that in the same book Liberty Defined, Paul makes no secret of the fact that he deems the Israeli blockade of Palestinians in Gaza as ”inhumane.” In this portion of the book, Paul does not include the context or security reasons for Israel’s blockade.

Only fair you see the ORIGINAL ARTICLE THAT WAS WRONG — then they pasted the NEW ONE — God, what a MESS the Blaze is:

“The following is a video of a young woman receiving Ron Paul’s book “Liberty Defined” as a Christmas present. Rather than express joy over her gift, however, upon reading an excerpt from the book aloud in which Paul allegedly refers to Israel as an “apartheid state,” the woman cries. Shocked and horrified over Paul’s views on Israel, the woman is visibly displeased with her Yuletide gift.

It should be noted, however, that in the same book Liberty Defined, Paul makes no secret of the fact that he deems the Israeli blockade of Palestinians in Gaza as ”inhumane.” In this portion of the book, Paul does not include the context or security reasons for Israel’s blockade.

Just look at the total number of pro-Israel, pro-Jewish, pieces that appear on this website alone, day after day. This continuous flow of pro-Israel, pro-Jewish, advertizing is better than any media blitz ever concocted by any major corporation, national or international. You have been, and are being, led.

While Ron Paul‘s popularity is based largely on his clarity about and stand against America’s central bank, the Federal Reserve, is he evil, stupid or just confused about religion?

While individuals of Jewish heritage are often out in front of major financial institutions, the oldest and most powerful bank on earth is the Vatican bank. The Vatican bank is the bank of the ancient Roman Emperors now called Holy Roman Emperors or Popes. Invisibility and scapegoating are its keys to centuries of domination. The City of London, Planet Earth’s banking capital, is the primary satellite of the Vatican. The District of Columbia, its third leg, was founded and originally ruled by Common Law but after the Civil War adopted a corporate body of rules called the US Code. (code = a secrete language.) Gradually it attorned Americans and built the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), a body of codes where people are either creditors or debtors – not bad if you’re the oldest bank (creditor) on the planet. It’s a perfect recipe for the financial enslavement of humanity.

Jews are purposefully and visibly placed out in front and on top of many financial institutions, by whom.? After a “series of usurpations and abuses” people revolt. The bigoted and confused, like Ron Paul, blame Jews. How convenient, if you are the Vicar of Christ and claim to own all people and property on Earth until the return of the Messiah.

      @Vechorik

Against this critics of Israel point out that Israel actually has control over the Palestinian Arabs in that it limits not only their entrance into Israel, but their free movement between different parts of the territory controlled by the Palestinian Authority. The critics of Israel will also say that like South Africa it confines the ?oppressed population? to specific areas out of which it cannot move.

This accusation brings us to one of the major differences between the South African situation, and the Israeli one. Israel has been since its very founding involved in a continual military effort at its own self-defense. The surrounding Arab nations invaded Israel in 1948, as soon as the State of Israel was declared. The Palestinian Arab population refused a state of its own alongside Israel and have been trying to undermine the Jewish state from the first day of its founding. Israel has been subject to what is arguably one of the most despicable terror campaigns mankind has ever known. Since the start of the al-Aqsa intifada in September 2000, this has included the insane use of homicide-bombers to kill and maim as many innocent Israeli civilians as possible.

fromlight, imbedded in your rationalization is your admission to the fact that Jews do head most of the world’s financial institutions. It is true, and it is also true that a Jew has been chair of our Federal Reserve my entire lifetime. You can rationalize why they are an extreme minority controlling the economics of the majority, but in the end you can not excuse the blame. Throughout history many very differing cultures have been subject to the same abuse by this minority, and they too eventually figured out the etiology of their suffering.

There are far too many anti-Semites in America and on the Blaze. It’s time for Congress to begin addressing the anti-semitism problem we have in America. These people voicing anti-semtic comments and not standing with Israel need to be punished under the law. America must stand by Israel or we all fall and the Muslims will rule the world. Look at all the “Americans” who think they have a say about Israel. Just so you ALL know Israel is a sovereign Nation and Americans have no say about Israel. How about Americans worry about themselves.

Ron Paul is not anti-Semitic nor is he racist. If you are a honest person and look at what is wrote you will see just that and how badly twisted his words were. A true American will see good and bad on both sides, otherwise you become a blinded fool. George Washington pretty much said that in his farewell address.

Israel is not as free as America. There are restrictions on certain groups of people in certain areas. If you are honest you will admit such is true. Some Israeli’s themselves say as much. Surely those Israeli‘s aren’t anti-Semitic too. That is Israel’s problems, not America’s.

Mind your own damn business America. Israel does not need your money or troops nor does it want them. Most of you would “intervene” in Israel in a heartbeat, just like Obama and Samantha Powers on grounds of humanitarian reasons but actually to dictate to Israel how to run her state.

Back during my early days in the Corps we eneded up in a small middle eastern country known as Lebannon backing the Isreali’s fight with the PLO, we lost 240+ Marines (my brothers) on Oct 23rd 1983 and for what? We shouldn’t have been there! Back then we were motivated lean mean & green & didn’t give a rats ass about the danger of being in that place, but looking back it was senseless. Reagan pulled us out in Feb 84 minus a battalion of DevilDogs that should still be alive today.

Let Isreal fight their own battles & skirmishes, if it gets knarly, yea we could help them out some, Lord knows they have enough of our hi tech hardware & know how to use it, but they are going to pull us into WWIII if we’re not careful. @Warrior4zion you said: “It’s our Constitutional duty to protect preserve and promote the interests of our Jewish brothers according as the Bible commands. There are far too many anti-Semites in America and on the Blaze. It’s time for Congress to begin addressing the anti-semitism problem we have in America. These people voicing anti-semtic comments and not standing with Israel need to be punished under the law. America must stand by Israel or we all fall and the Muslims will rule the world.”

For clarification, Please explain the following:

      1) Where in the Consitution does is say this is our duty?

      2) Where in the Bible does this say it is our duty?
Opressing Israel certainly IS NOT blessing Israel. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

      3) From your statements, it seems your believe in “Collective Salvation.” Is that your plea?

      4) You wish to limit the First Admendment? Freedom of speech? I dont agree with anti-semitism but will not prohibit ANYONE’s unalienable right endowed by our creator to the Freedom of Speech.

BLESS Israel, by unleashing and liberating them from OUR dictatorial Control. **Trade**, be friends/ strong allies, just dont give them Money to do so. We Pay to have friends?!? Thats the REAL craziness.

Askgreek, I agree. He is simply to old, and has been in Washington too long, and I think he suffers from what Obama suffers from. They don’t really think America is all that great. We need a leader who loves this country and is proud of it even with our difficulties. We still are the most powerful country in the World and, frankly, I am tired of hearing about how horrible this country is. 2012 can’t come soon enough but Ron Paul is not presidential material. He may be a smart guy but his attitude about America s–ks. Put Paul in charge of dismantling the horrific tax code and auditing Freddie and Fannie.

Now we have a serious election coming up and we have a large number of stoners that will defend Ron Paul to the end on any of his issues – Just so they can have legalized Marijuana.

I wish the Blaze would do a follow up story later on this girl – I can see the headlines now – Brother that Gave Ron Paul Book as a Present – Fired from job when he failed to pass Drug Test.

I’ll never understand why GOP shills such as yourself attack RP and his supporters in this manner. MAYBE it’s because you are secretly aware of the progressive party the Republicans are guilty of spreading. MAYBE it‘s because you can’t field a decent candidate who excites the electorate.

Einstein said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Using this as a logical definition of the word, RP supporters are both clear and lucid, and individuals like yourself who ignore the truth of the matter are clearly the insane ones.

I didn’t leave the GOP, the GOP left me. I will no longer accept the lesser of two evils, so if you wanna save the republic, then fix the party. Fix YOUR values and principles. Mine are rooted in God and the Constitution (in that order) and are JUST FINE, thank you very much.

Disliking Israel’s policies and actions, and the support, money, and favor the US has always shown to them, is not anti-Semitic. You can point at things Israel is doing and say “This is WRONG” and not hate Jews; the same way we can point at things Obama is doing and say “This is WRONG” and not be a racist.

I think you should take a close look at Israel (the country) and pretend for a minute that it wasn’t a nation you have an emotional investment in. Would you still fully support their actions?

It’s so true Israel will be able to defend herself, ultimately. They are strong militarily and even probably most of them don‘t realize God’s promises regarding them.

Just as most around the world don‘t realize God’s honest threat against any who comes against her.

I honestly think the US is “OK” as long as we don’t go AGAINST Israel. Personally, I’d like to see us help–if they truly needed our help–because they’ve always been a good ally (yes, they have!). If Israel doesn’t feel she needs our help, I’m fine with that–I‘d think they’d know if they need help or not. I’m also fine with it because I know God will ultimately protect them. It doesn‘t mean some won’t be killed (happens all the time), but Israel won’t be destroyed as some want to do to her.

My fear isn’t that the US will not help protect Israel. My fear is us turning AGAINST her.

Wrong side to be on, IMO–due to the teachings of my faith.

And I believe Ron Paul’s views ABOUT Israel are wrong.

I don’t see Ron Paul as evil as some may–just very wrong and dangerous (because he’s wrong). He could blunder us all into oblivion if placed in office. NOT the right man for the job.

@ Just Peachy……the secret shadow US government is against Israel, but Ron Paul, not. The UN the CFR list of Presidents we have had, everyone else is against Israel, well guess what. WE the US is Israel as well. We must defend our borders first and resolve our debilitating issues first, before we can help anyone else. Read Paul’s books, see his mouth move, watch his walk and actions, no guile no lies, he is in sync with the Constitution, with liberty and with saving this nation from NWO destruction……………
Ron Paul stands alone in Washington but we the people stand with him……….those opposing him either do not understand this nation, our Constitution or freedom, or they are on the Soros payroll…….

Let’s see, is it the dope smoking or the Fortress America that is so attractive to you? Were you too high to remember 9/11? Do you believe that Israel should be driven into the sea? Are you naive enough to think that we would be safe from Islamic terrorists if we let them have what they want?

First of all I agree .. drugs make people stupid .. as most Ron Paul supporters continue to prove. Take away that one position and he has about 5% of his supporters left.

Now as for the Mormon comment .. if you are ever in a disaster I would expect you to turn down the help of the Mormons .. they are often the first ones to respond .. before the Red Cross or FEMA the Mormon Church (LDS) is there offering food and water and anything else that people might need … so don’t be a hypocite just do without!

CATB Maybe you didn’t get the message but the reason Ron Paul wants to legalize things like drugs..is because we are imprisoning too many black people for using them..the war on drugs has not worked..I would venture to say that most law enforcement agencies are on the take because of the money involved;;This has been on Federal levels …look at the administration selling guns to Hezbollah…Now the downside..is that those really bad druggies might die and we certainly wouldn’t want that to happen..but it is unfair to blacks and the tax payers for having to pay to have them institutionalized..plus it puts a permanent blot on their records rendering them useless for ever working a real job.

The vast majority of pot smokers are normal.
As are the vast majority of Ron Paul supporters.
Active duty military monitary donations to candidate Ron Paul over all the others combined is staggering.
When you deride and spit on Ron Paul supporters you are spitting on a huge amount of active duty military.

This article strikes at the heart, because I am a big supporter of Israel myself. I didn’t realize that Paul had such a fundamental misunderstanding of the West Bank situation. The last thing we should be responsible for is the fall of Jerusalem. However it does ring with me that Benjamin Netanyahu said on the Senate Floor that “we don’t need help”. I can‘t decide whether Paul’s record of fiscal constitutionalism or this global ignorance of his are worse. All I can see for the future though is collapse, and death for our country. Would you do ANYTHING to bring back the Constitution? I ask myself this question.

Have you ever read any of Ron Paul’s foreign policies or listened to his pleas on the House Floor? He has a long history of warning us in advance of the consequences of our actions – he predicted a 9/11-type attack on the U.S. and the real-estate collapse years before they happened.
