‘We Have No Time to Lose’: Chuck Norris Enters the Ring on the Side of Gov. Scott Walker

Internet meme and iconic actor Chuck Norris– the man who inspired countless phrases like “Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door” and “Chuck Norris is why Waldo is hiding”– has joined the political fray in Wisconsin on the side of Governor Scott Walker, and is wasting no time in galvanizing the man’s supporters.

He wrote in an article Sunday: “Wisconsin Democrats, Washington elite and insiders, and liberal special interests have joined together to fight for the recall of Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin in Tuesday’s election. But last Friday, when I saw them also send in the big guns, former President Bill Clinton himself, against Gov. Walker, I knew I had to enter the ring, too.”

The article is aptly titled, “President Bill Clinton Vs. Scott Walker and Me.”

Norris continued to discuss the economic facts on the ground in Wisconsin, and how the state’s unemployment and relative deficit compare to the national average, before declaring:

Walker’s recall is not just about Wisconsin; it is about national reform. It’s about living within our means. It’s about taking back our republic. It is about saving our nation and posterity, one election and state at a time.

That is why Gov. Scott Walker himself recently appealed to patriots across his state and our country, in which he wrote this:

“For more than a generation in Wisconsin, the power of special interests and the liberal elite have gone largely unchecked. My administration finally stood up to them, and we changed the way we do things in government in Wisconsin. That’s why my opponents are so desperate to defeat me in this recall. They want to roll back the clock and take us back to the days of skyrocketing taxes, bloated budgets, and unchecked and unaccountable spending. We cannot let that happen …”

Gov. Walker, I agree, and so do a multitude of other patriots across your state and this nation.

The last thing Wisconsin and our republic needs is another tax-and-spend liberal in charge of its state. If that happens, we conservatives must also be realistic about this: If the far left can recall Gov. Walker, then it could open the floodgates to sweep the country with more of the same recalls.

That is why my wife, Gena, and I are encouraging everyone to vote for the incumbent Scott Walker for governor of Wisconsin.

If you know anyone in Wisconsin, call them today and give them reasons why they should vote for Gov. Walker. Also, please immediately post Gov. Walker’s social network pages to your Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts by going to ScottWalker.org. We have no time to lose.

While Norris concluded: “Ronald Reagan was right, ‘Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same,’” it wouldn’t be unusual for social media forums to greet the announcement with a number of clever, political Chuck Norris jokes.

      Atta Boy CHUCK!!! Walker deserves all the back up he can get. HE had the guts to tell the UNIONS…getouttahere you’re messing with MY STATE!! And in just a few short months, WALKER has lowered the deficit or eliminated it, no teachers laid off, no TAXES raised and balanced a budget…

      Just a reminder that Mr Norris is member of SAG-AFTRA. Collects thousands in residuals from his TV reruns because of their negotiations over the years to have “residual benefits” put in to actor’s contracts. I‘m not saying he doesn’t deserve them, I like his work. However, there has to be some sort of conflict in his words.

      Herr Walker was caught on video telling billionaires that his goal is to the break unions. The Koch Brothers and the rest of the Furher Walker’s backers have out spent the democrates 25 to 1.

      The question is do we want a return to the era of the robber barrons, the to age of the Great Gatesby, were the rich were above the love and own the politicans or do we want the unions, the workers, the commen man to have a fair shot.

      The difference is that SAG-AFTRA is a private sector union. If a private sector union negotiates for a higher pay the corporation passes this along o the consumer. As a consumer I do not have to buy the higher priced product. When a public sector union wants to raise pay I as a tax payer can not opt out of the service. The public sector unions hold the tax payer hostage over services that should be provided by government for what ever amount they wish.

      IMO: Unions in general control a persons productivity and the ability to earn pay according to successes and does not punish a persons failures. Equal opportunity has been washed out by a false belief that we have a right to equal out come. There is not an utopia that can exist by human hands.

      You say, “everyone in Hollywood can’t be stupid”. That is correct, but do you notice it is the ones who had something going on BEFORE they became part of Hollywood?
      I believe a lot of these actors have “Lottery syndrome”. They became famous by being in the right place at the right time, just like buying the winning lottery ticket. But folks like Chuck had no intentions of being an actor, he had the drive to be the best at something, and then Hollywood came knocking. They KNOW what it is like to earn it.
      My brother wants and try’s to be an actor, but hasn’t been choosen at any casting calls. That’s what I mean about being at the right place at the right time, one day he might just happen on the perfect time. But I will tell you he is in the Actors Guild union because he has done 2 VERY SMALL parts and had 2 join and when he comes to visit, he is very vocal that we don’t watch ANY reality TV because he says it is putting actors out of work. My arguement was that there are MORE people working on those reality shows than an “actor” show.

    On the serious side. I love the company that is with me. On tuesday the fifth, the progressive agenda in Wisconsin dies a LONG overdue death. Scott Walker is a hero to those of us here who have had ENOUGH of the excesses of government. Rebecca needs ALL of our support as well. WE SIMPLY CANNOT HAVE A UNIONISTA waiting in the wings for Walker to encounter some “difficulty” staying healthy if you know what I mean. The thugs would kill him in a second.       MarybethElizabeth, They poo-poo-ed my posting of something from Truthout.org but they will believe anything that WND or ANY conservative blog that posts some cut and paste, made up story as it it’s delivered from the lips of God. A few weeks back, WND had a vlog where the guy said that Liberals were funding the making of “hamburger” from recycled poop. It was on several blogs, all of them Conservative. Of course, it was a total hoax, but it floated around like a turd in the punchbowl for days. Then there’s the fake shortage on reloadable brass, it went round and round in Conservative circles. Get them out and send them packing. They are using our own money to dumb down our children and teach them filth and sin is alright because they say so. They need to go NOW.
