Report Post »He will with our help. My husband took the week of shows in Sept., the crash course week, and put them on DVD. It only took two disk after removing commercials. He has now typed a nice letter explaining how DC is broken,etc.,etc. We are going to hand these out to neighbors or anyone we run into around town. We pray that this will help wake up more Americans. It still amazes me how many are still not aware of the corruption going on or those that are aware but will not do anything. I ask 912ers and tea party patriots, WHAT will you do to get another conservative awake, off the couch, and to the polls Nov. 2? Puuuullllllleeeeezzzzz, let’s help Glenn get the message out. Want America to vote you guys back in to power? Wow does Americans have that short of a memory? George Bush your kind of Christan. Took us to war in 2 countries. Not paid for i might add. It was Emergency Supplamental Bills. He never paid for them. Did the Medicare drug prescription plan and didnt pay for it. And Gave tax cuts to the top 2% of Americans for 6 years to the tune of 2 trillion dollars. The wars cost us another 1.2 trillion. And deregulated wall street so the could sell bad assets around the world. Yes this is a free market capitalist nation, and God bless us for it. But no regulation doesnt work either. So Lets not lie about what got us into this mess people. Lets talk about getting out of it. And it starts with what built this country. The Middle class which the republicans ruined. The truth hurts. Do you really believe that GW was a Conservative? Your post actually makes the points quite clearly: he was a Progressive Repub and we all can see the damamge that comes with it. As a lifetime independent myself, it was for this reason that I never voted for a Bush or any other progressive- until McCain, when the thought of electing a Socialist seemed to be the nightmare that it’s become.
We want Conservative Repubs in office, something that hasn’t been tried in decades.
Or perhaps you could explain how the Democrat Progressive steep-sloped path of destruction is preferable to the slow decline that Repub Progressives like Bush put us on. I prefer the economic incline that Reagan put us on myself.

You see, you made out as a bandit over the past year–as long as you were a super-rich, huge corporation. These folks have made so much money as a result of the stimulus, their cash reserves have risen to record levels (yet they still don’t hire, except maybe in China).

It amazes me that this fact is not more widely known. The stimulus did not fall into a black hole, as many would have you believe. It fell into the pockets of the super-rich.
And yes, the above poster is correct. The “new” Tea Party is just a mask put on the same old big money Republicans. In fact, you can trace the money back to the Koch Brothers, Cato Institute, and Americans for Prosperity, not to mention whatever other big-money corporations are now jumping on the “I don’t want taxes nor to hire Americans” bandwagon.

I don’t know where you were or what you were doing while Mr. Bush was in office, but conservatives all over this country were doing everything they could to curtail his invasions into the lives of Americans. We screamed with frustration because of the bleeding of money into things we felt were no good for the country. Plenty of people like my husband and me sent our “stimulus” checks back. If it weren’t for the so-called opposition, the democrats, voting for his expenditures, they wouldn’t have passed. The things tagged along with the Patriot Act which allowed so much gov’t intrusion into our lives absolutely could not have been implemented without large democratic approval. Every conservative I know was seething and we could do not one thing about it. The conservative commentators were not kind to George W. Bush, and I don‘t think it’s because they knew I was listening. He was criticized on every level by conservatives and I wonder why you don’t remember that? Government was growing rapidly under George Bush and we decried it as loudly as anyone. That president was out of control. This one is even MORE out of control. Honestly Answer: did you read that abomination of a medical takeover bill? I did. I forced myself to read the entire thing, cover to cover, every single day for ten days in a row so that I would be well informed about it. Nowhere on this planet except perhaps Nazi Germany or Communist Russia has ANY government given themselves so much control of the individual citizen’s life, health, bank accounts, retirement accounts, brokerage accounts, how and where they may or may not seek treatment and so threatened the citizen’s ability to prosper. George W. Bush was a piker compared to this president. And by the way, the medical takeover bill can’t be blamed on George Bush. This is totally this administration’s abomination and probably the one single thing we have to thank for the anger in this country. I know a registered member of the socialist party here in my state who calls that law “terrifying.” She is voting conservative in the midterms because she is so frightened by it. That takeover law is what this administration and anyone who supports it is all about. if you are for it, so be it. But if you’d like to keep any control of your life whatsoever, think twice.

Bush spent money and people died. And you rail against giving money to build roads and pay teachers a livable wage. The middle class makes this country what it is. You can’t blame the republicans for lining the pockets of the rich and sucessful with the stimulus, when it was your friends on the Dem side and the president who passed stimulus, and kept no control over where the money went and what it was spent on. Last time I checked, the stimulus did work – there was an article I read the other day that each job created by the stimulus cost over $1mil in stimulus funds. That’s the government managing the stimulus.
Let’s hear some more reasons why Republicans cause the failed stimulus. especially when you claim that it worked. Can’t claim two oposite outcomes on the same subject. I’m curious. Enlighten me.

But today, the SEIU and AFL-CIO have grown into socialist, communist groups. They’re giant Ponzi schemes, whose bosses make millions at the expense of the workers and the country’s best interest. They are responsible for manufacturers/employers moving oversees and taking American jobs and manufacturing enterprises with them. It is greed–day workers who expect benefits/wages way out of kilter with what they are truly worth. Unfortunately, the day workers are duped into believing that they can’t live without these groups and greedily push for even higher wages and benefits, which in turn drives away employers and raises the cost of goods, like cars, for the rest of us. Think about this: my husband has a 5-6 year pharmacy degree and must take coarses to renew his license every year. It took a lot of hard work and money to earn his degree. He, after over 35-years of experience, did not retire with the same benefits or hourly wage as someone with a GED working on an assembly line in a car manufacturing center. I’m sorry, I see something wrong with this picture. Where is the incentive for anyone seeking a degree that takes any kind of brain work? That’s one reason why America is in trouble with a lack of scientists, engineers, doctors, etc., and are having to “import” them from abroad. The union members don’t see the unions for the monsters that they have become. The same thing is true for the public service unions, like the teachers’ union in NJ. So many people who carry union cards are misguided and uninformed voters who vote solely by union dictates and party affiliation (Democrat). It boils down to greed on everyone’s part, not just big business in capitalism. Americans have become to see themselves as “entitled” to big expensive cars, big homes, and a “keep up with the Joneses” attitude. Our parents and grandparents and forefathers believed in earning what you get on a reasonable scale of what your services/products are worth. Young people right out of college want what parents/grandparents had to work for all their lives to achieve. We’ve lost sight of a whole lot of things, and now we’re going to pay a price.

I live in PA and see towns all over the place where, in the business districts, small businesses are closing up and falling like dominoes. Main streets are beginning to shrivel and die since this man took office. Several of those small business owners are very good friends of mine and I am heartsick because those small businesses were the fruition of dreams they had to provide a service or make goods they loved and these were prosperous places before Obama took over and people no longer had the discretionary income to patronize these businesses. God Bless the business owners all over this great country and God Bless America INDEED!!

The Democratic machines rules Chicago with an iron fist, only those chosen by them ascend, ex. Obama. Its a very liberal state that has almost lost all of it manufacturing as Cat and many others left to China and overseas. Illinois with the combination of high state tax, excessive government regulations, strong unions and then of course NAFTA, has lost almost all of what once made it great, namely the manufacturing. If we want jobs in this country we need to allow businesses to make money here. Reign in the Unions and protect the workers with tarriffs on imported goods from where workers earn a pitiful amount each day. Forget the new world order crap and think to our own economy. Allow the corporations to retain profits so as to build their power and reinvest in our homeland. In Dubai where there is no corporate tax, we see an uprecedented boom in building and industry, as corporations and billionares flock there to conduct trade, spending money like water as they live their lavish lifestyles. Pulling up the desert town into a new city the likes of which the world has almost never seen before. It could be here instead, if our leaders would look beyond the socialistic view of the world that forces out business from every country that blight corrupts.

What is noteworthy in the highest degree is that in all of the areas of the country where the demolibersocialcommunists have such a tight grip is that in EVERY case, the poverty levels are the highest in the country, the school systems are the WORST in the country and the people there are the least educated because of that, which enables these elites who went to college elsewhere to come to these places and indoctrinate people. They know they can’t come to where conservatives live and do it because the schools are better and and the least educated are better educated than in the areas where they reside. They tell their own people that that is because the rich white conservatives are keeping them down and those people are so poorly educated that it is easy for these elites to convince them that they are victims. Did you need any further proof than the dear elderly Black woman who was plastered all over the TV ” It obamas’ money it his stash, he gown gi us son o it tha’s why we lu he and we vote for he.” I don’t translate it well, but who has forgotten that interview with the woman who could barely make a sentence out of the English language? That’s the base and the more people they can push into that base, the better. They don’t want better schools, THIS WOMAN is what they want to turn all of us into so that they can tell us who to vote for and send us a small government check, enough for beer and cigarette money, and stack us all up in government housing on top of each other, like sardines, and then we all just shut up and leave all the good things to them. After all, we don’t deserve it as much as they do, right?

He now lives daily with the security of a president, simply for being honest and living the truth as well as sharing it. Regardless of the lies and horrific slander of those intent on bringing him down…well I have news for all of you. All of us so called tea party activist, labeled racists, right wing violent fringe, uneducated, so on and so on. We (I hope nobody will take offense) are loving, kind, fair, imperfect, honest, decent, spiritual, diligent, decent, educated (some by self education), some new to politics but not new to the life experience. We are the people, we are standing together. We are holding hands even from thousands of miles from another. We have to continue to stand together. We must be peaceful at all cost. We must be united and work to restore faith and honor. We must help to restore the history being wiped from the slate that our children learn from. Don’t give up brothers and sisters, we are America. Be proud, be honorable, be one! They can only defeat us if we are divided, together we stand,divided we fall. Keep eachother in prayer or at least in the kindest of thoughts. This is how we will change this disastrous course.

His life, family, company are in a constant spotlight, and not just to reveal everything he does, but to manufacture things he doesn’t do. Because he takes his calling so seriously, the pace of his committments never slows down. Sure, the ADD probably helps, but it would be a challenge for anyone to keep up with this man. Critics bitterly point to his income, but never acknowledge how much he gives away (partly because he doesn’t bring attention to it) or how much goes right back into ways to bring the truth to this country.

He uses history and videos to point out many things. Now his“ hook” that most comedians use is God and CHARACTER. The fact that Beck is making money is a given, it takes money to stay on the national platform and if he fails then the money he makes is for the risk he has taken.
Answer these questions.
What is wrong with wanting individuals to get off their butts and do something with their lives?
What is wrong with wanting individuals to teach their children something other than allowing them to sit around and play video games?
What is wrong with wanting individuals to question what is going on with our country, studying history and learning from our mistakes?
What is wrong with wanting individuals to return honor to themselves?
What is wrong with wanting individuals to believe in something greater than themselves?
What is wrong with wanting individuals to be self-reliant and accountable?
What is wrong with wanting a federal government to stay within the guidelines of the Constitution?
These are all messages that Beck promotes.
What is wrong with ME wanting to have these discussions instead of a bunch of name calling and insults without substance to the discussion? All that people want to do is blame someone else and not look in the mirror and realize that WE THE PEOPLE have gotten the government that WE deserve. If we are really going to change then we must change how we have a discussion and live.
I would really like to see you answer these questions, or someone else that can tell me what is wrong with wanting these things.

He took a big gamble, but has done so with faith that it is the right thing to do. He’s not trying to please the network or sponsors, but in the process of truth telling has built a bigger viewership. He’s on the radio, TV and speaking circuit to earn a living, but has obviously decided to use that time in a different way. Applaud him, but don’t think of him as Moses. I like the John the Baptist analogy–he’s helping prepare the way–but let’s not canonize him just yet.
Just take on his 40 day challenge. To build a better America we need to build better individuals and families.

Government should be more responsive, it should be better about budgeting and spending. It should be more watchful about how it spends the money it gets. Lobbying groups should have less power and influence. Taxation is not slavery. Taxation is a revenue stream for government to provide services. When services are not regulated, then tax money is misspent. When government functions are contracted out, those services suffer. When they are contracted out and no one is expecting, we have fraud, waste, and abuse. Military spending is a perfect example of this. Reagan talked about reducing government, but really, all he accomplished was tripling the deficit. Clinton was forced to deal with Pay-Go, if you want a new program, create a revenue stream to fund it. If you want to cut taxes, cut spending. Pay-Go was the reason Bush43 had to wait until it expired before he could put in his ruinous tax cuts for the super rich, he didn’t cut spending, he just cut revenue. Spend more, earn less, it equals deficits every time.

“We have to finish the plan you elected me to put in place,” Obama proclaimed, reiterated, orated . . . or more accurately, openly demanded of His people in grand Community Organizer fashion.
This most certainly is a warning sign of what’s to come; he included in the strategy a proclamation for a call to arms: “It’s not the man, it’s the plan,” is what he said. The insinuation though is that all opposition to him is personal . . . racial and not political. He’s deliberately twisting reality here, far too close to recklessness and abuse of the power of his office, of its influence. To be rallying one cultural group against another, pitting one group of Americans against another is not in the job description of POTUS, unless it has been recently added. Perhaps, it was part of the Health Care bill; we simply have not read that far yet.
And if you listen carefully, you can hear the drum beat far in the distance. There should be no mistake made interpreting the intent and then in the recording of this President’s intentions. This president is openly engaging in cultural and economic calamity as his direction for the country. There should be no mistake . . . He is Not campaigning.
What the president is doing cannot be left to be liberally framed, given an image of “campaigning. What he’s doing is shaping attitudes by creating an environment of disparity and inequality where in actuality, the hearts and minds of most all Americans have been working very hard and successfully at elevating all people despite the spoiling and disingenuous actions of liberals such as President Obama, Rev. Al Sharpton, Bill Clinton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Dr. Mark Lamont Hill, . . . and of course a list of many, many others of all skin colors and races.
Simply put, to fight this, the Tea Party must have a message that goes beyond the current real-time issues of the day, such as the pressing and dire economic state that we are in, that our children and grandchildren are in. Our issues are bigger than what will come and what will pass in a few news cycles, or even days, months or years. Our issues are very much cultural. This should be understood and made very clear across the land until it is a household concept.
The Tea Party message must boldly proclaim that it has an agenda, openly, honestly, and thoroughly. If that message is true to conservative principles, it will not lose. If that message is conveyed by individuals that have true understanding of those principles as they relate to the governance of a people, of life and of living, it will not lose. It will not lose because those individuals of true Tea Party fortitude will engage Obama’s audience; yes His audience, to turn their ears to their President’s drum beat, the one they hear in the distance . . . but to hear it accurately, as a cadence that has been lulling them into a deep cultural sleep for over fifty years. Simply, the Democratic Party does not own the African American vote, or any vote as they believe they do, even though they’ve bought and paid for them many times over, such as the case with organized labor, their unions, and other socialist models of their “organization.”
The Tea Party message is the message of America ringing its Bell despite its cracks and defects of age. . . . To awaken a people to a new era, to know without doubt that our Bell tolls for all, all races, all religions; even if yours means that you have none.
But the Tea Party message, it must be formulate and articulated. The waking of America to the idea that true Conservatism is the end to cultural and economic nightmares, provides comfort then by way of the warm embrace of a people that will guarantee all that live between its shores and borders are protected by the heritage of a culture that has gone to great lengths over time to see that freedom and prosperity are for all; that truthfully, it is and has been a long and winding road of deceptions and fears . . . But a trust must grow between us all by way of a message, a shared and new cultural understanding that we are walking in Our time together, black and white, yellow and brown, red . . . whatever you look like with the lights on, we’re on a mission to save our children’s future . . . Look at them when they’re sleeping or when they’re playing and articulate it for yourself; and then share it . . . spread it . . . talk about it . . teach.

Quinn is not much better as he has been involved in the Daley machine for as long as I can remember and I moved out of the “disaster” state 26 years ago. At that time Quinn was involved and as I remember it, very much a part of the “machine.” Gee, Illinois do you ever wonder why your taxes are so high and you get so little from them, you need to check out living in Indiana–might be a big shock in store for you on how you are being taken to the “cleaners.”
