We Want an Arrest, Shot in the Chest: Protesters March in Florida for Trayvon Martin

Thousands of people marched in Sanford, Fla. Saturday to honor Florida teen Trayvon Martin and demand the arrest of George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed him.

“We want an arrest. Shot in the chest,” protesters chanted as they made their way to the headquarters of the Sanford Police Department, which has overseen the case. Others marchers carried signs that said, “Justice for Trayvon.”

Zimmerman, 28, said he shot Martin, 17, in self-defense last month after Martin attacked him. He has not faced any charges thus far, claiming protection under the state’s “stand your ground” law.

“We live in the middle of an American paradox,” Rev. Al Sharpton, attending the rally, told the crowd. “We can put a black man in the White House but we cannot walk a black child through a gated neighborhood. We are not selling out, bowing out or backing down until there is justice for Trayvon.”

Sharpton has vowed to call for an escalation of civil disobedience of Zimmerman is not arrested. At a press conference before the march, Sharpton and NAACP President Benjamin Jealous denied reports that included an economic boycott of Sanford, calling it a “media fabrication,” according to MSNBC.

“Put to rest the rumor that there is any discussion of a boycott of the community,” Jealous said.

Rev. Jesse Jackson, who also spoke at the rally, similarly vowed more civil disobedience.

“This is not about a hoodie, it’s about racial profiling,” Jackson said. “We will use our marching feet, civil disobedience and every weapon in in our non-violent arsenal until justice is served.”

      They don’t want justice. How is it justice to DEMAND a specific action under threat of violence? What if the evidence aquits Zimmerman? Should we arrest an inocent man to prevent riots? Why not we let a guilty one go (OJ Simpson) to prevent blacks from rioting. This is just like the KKK and the good-ol-boy groups DEMANDING “justice” in the old days.

      I can’t verify them, but there‘s no reason to believe they aren’t accurate.

      They will be easy to verify if need be.

      If they’re true, this black perp was no more than an out-of-control racist, anti-white criminal for whom the stand-your-ground laws were intended to target.

      Also, if true, Martin was stalking Zimmerman! It amounts to a premeditated assault.

      Notice that his friend on the tweet is asking if Martin is going to rob Zimmerman or just beat his ass.

      It hasn’t been that long that Jesse Jackson stood up for a woman against the LaCross team. After all was said and done, taking the law in his own hands, the woman proved herself to be just what she was hired to be, and after ruining the lives of young men, they were not guilty of the dastardly deed that woman accused them,

      But heck, take it to the streets first before we let a court gather all the evidence. Sounds like an old law this country has been steadfastly working to eliminate. Then along comes……………………

      The War Chic, whose web site is linked, says she obtained it fron the web site of the Daily Caller. When you go to her web page, she has additional information regarding the tweets. Her reasoning seems sound, and she‘s never been known to report anything that’s knowingly false.

      Like you, I was stunned to see the admissions. But everything seems to fit about this character.

      I imagine the police has Martin’s cell phone, so the information is easy enough to verify. If it is true, I’m wondering if the investigators have confiscated the cell phone of the contact Martin was texting.

      I tend to believe the informaton is accurate. Everythng seems to fit.

It’s the black “opportunity” they’ve been waiting for, planned to coincide with OWS (for mostly white students), Fluke (for women and secularists), and Walker (big labor) for maximum chaos.       The Contrived Hysterical Kings of Outrage

      Unless you live under a rock you are fully aware of the tragic death in Florida. A young 17 year old black was fatally shot during an altercation. The shooter was taken in and questioned by police but not charged. This event happened over a month ago.

      Recently the media caught wind of the event and well, the let the outrage begin. Reverends; Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, local preachers, congressmen, activist, The New black Panthers, SEIU unions, every hysterical outraged citizen with two legs have descended on the town and are demanding the arrest of the shooter, a so called “white Hispanic” person. The kings of outrage care not for the truth even though the state is in the process of an investigation.

      All manner of contrived hysterical outrage is being theatrically preformed to the revolutionary music of the bull horn. I watch the “circ de absurd” in amazement.

      Looking at crime statistics the black population represents thirteen percent of the population of the U S A and 49 percent of all murders, of that 49 percent 83 % are black on black.

      So I have to ask of the outrage community; it appears to be ok for blacks to kill blacks with reckless abandon, but just do not let another race pull the trigger?

      May I express my outrage?

      Why do you blacks hate each other so much?

    What was the trajectory of the bullet ?

    If it was a gated community, was Martin staying there or visiting someone IN the gated community ?

    Was Martin shot in the back or the chest ?

    All important questions..

      Those questions are important and will be answered in due time, but what is not in question is equally important; Martin was out in the rain, walking between houses, looking into windows at 3am! Martin had previously been caught with a bag of women’s jewelry and a common burglary tool; a screwdriver! Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Sheila Jackson, Spike Lee, Jealous, former Black Panther-congressman Rush etc., ignore these critical facts, but they must be forced to recognize them in spite of the fact that they expose their small, sweet innocent Skittle-boy as the burglar-racist-vulgar-thug that he was. When Martin first spotted Zimmerman on the phone, he approached Zimmerman before he took off in a run… why didn’t he keep running all the way home?.. why did he return to attack Zimmerman? Did Martin, while running, recognize that police were likely on their way and Zimmerman was the only one that could ID him… so, he went back to eliminate the ID-threat? Zimmerman was screaming excessively for help… does this not indicate complete reluctance to use his weapon? Zimmerman knew he had a gun, but clearly was not eager to use it… instead, desperately attempted to utilize his only other option; screaming for the intercession of others… how many eager, homicidal racists call the 911 before murdering their innocent victim?

    Zimmerman has not been arrested because he told police he acted in self-defense, and then-Chief Lee said police did not have probable cause. Florida Statute 776.032 expressly prohibits police from arresting someone who had a reasonable fear of imminent death or great bodily harm. Police may investigate, the statute says, “but the agency may not arrest the person” without probable cause.

    If these people REALLY want justice, they’d back off and let the system work. But, no, that’s not what they really want… what they want is a conviction in the media and then a public lynching. That may sound harsh, but I haven’t yet heard Jackson, Sharpton, the NAACP, or for that matter the President condemn the Black Panthers and their “Wanted Dead or Alive” reward offer.

    It’s really sad when someone uses a dead kid to further their own political agenda, especially when that agenda is to spread racial division and hatred. Shame on all of them!

I remember Charlie Manson tried to incite a race war with the Bianco killings in the 1960′s. All of the radicals like Ayers/ Alinsky / the International Left and company have been around since then.     This whole story is really sad…I feel sorry that Trayvan didn’t get a long life…I feel sorry that his parents and people like sharpton are turning his death into some kind of racial death march…I feel sorry that Trayvon didn’t have people in his life to be good role models…( I know..I’ve raised four children, I know how it’s done)..I feel sorry that Mr. Zimmerman was put into this situation..that he had to choose to shoot this kid…what I DON‘T feel sorry for are these people in this protest wanting the lynching of a man that they don’t have any idea whether he’s truly guilty…Very sad.

      Agree. These people like Al , Jesse, and the New Black Panthers are only using this young man’s death for their own political purposes. And they have much more to do with stirring up civil unrest than with seeking justice. Witness ACORN, Wisconsin, the Occupies, glorifying hoodies . The Democrats are all about glorifying anarchy and lawlessness. This Martin case is proof positive.

      Okay I will…lets see if my child was in this situation..there would of been no fight..no life lost…my child would of been asked by a homeowner in this neighborhood…what he was doing there…my child would of maybe said he was “short cuttin it home”…something to that effect…after saying..sorry I bothered you…and headed on home with skittles in hand…something happened in this situation where this escalated into a violent horrible thing…and you are gonna sit there and say that this was all Mr. Zimmerman looking to kill a kid…really you believe that.

      except for the fact witness saw Martin delivering the beat down to Zimmerman. The only question is how it started as we only have Zimmerman’s account of that part. I doubt there will be a conviction, just like the sate attorney general said, there is no evidence that conflicts with his story.

      Is it or isn’t it true Trayvon was in a gated community? DId he live in this community? If not what was his purpose being there?? I found one article that said he was in a gated community where he did not live. Why was he there?? To many questions and not enough answers to this tragedy.. You do realize that more blacks kill whites than whites kill blacks.. Also, they kill their own.. more than whites kill them. Truth is.. people like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and Louis Farrakhan seem to stir rage up in their own people.. Do we see whites acting this way when a black kills?? I agree that Zimmerman should be arrested until they have all the facts… simply because his life is in danger by a crazed crowd now!

      ‘13th Generation Marxist’ since when is following another person on public property against the law regardless of whether a police dispatcher advises against it? And since when is walking behind someone considered “pursuing?” And since when does someone who has bad intentions, which your ilk thinks Zimmerman had towards Martin, call the police to make it known to them ahead of time that he is following someone he plans to harm therefore making him an obvious suspect after the fact? The answer to all three questions is NEVER and makes it far more likely that Zimmerman‘s story is true as he certainly wouldn’t have wanted to tip police as to his following someone if he had any intent on confronting or attacking the teen career criminal.

      Last time I checked, the dispatcher told Zimmerman he shouldn’t follow Martin, Zimmerman then replied, Okay. Zimmerman then lost sight of Martin. The dispatcher and Zimmerman then agreed on a site to meet up with the police. What kind of murderer has the dispatcher record his every move and then tell the police, that are nearby, or on the way, to meet up with him? The whole story replayed by the MSM is a fabrication, and utter BS.

      Have you actually listed to the 911 dispatcher’s conversation with Mr. Zimmerman or just listened to what Sharpton has been saying? If you had taken the few minutes it would to listen to the real information you would know that Mr. Zimmerman, when told by the 911 dispatcher that they didn’t need him to follow the person, said ok and didn’t pursue him anylonger. I guess that the facts really don’t matter to some people.

      My question is this.. if Mr. Zimmerman was innocent.. why didn’t the police take pictures of his injuries?? In the tape. the police officer is looking at the back of Zimmermans head.. he also appears to be looking at his face? And couldn’t he have cleaned off his face. or had it cleaned off? I am assuming a ambulance was called to the scene and they looked at George there. Couldn’t they have cleaned him up! Before he was brought in for questioning?? What about the witness?
