We Will, We Will, Rock You: GOP Sen. Issues Election Day ‘Certainties’

Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-OK), while stumping for Colorado U.S. Senate hopeful Ken Buck last Thursday, issued a list of guaranteed Senate wins:

We’ll take over the following seats where there are Democratic incumbents: Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Washington state, Wisconsin, West Virginia — where I’ll be Monday — North Dakota, and I think California.

In case you’re keeping track (and Think Progress is) that would give the GOP the 10 seats necessary to regain control of the U.S. Senate:

I don’t know why anybody expects “OBAMAWORSHIOER” to use spell check. He/She/It didn’t even spell their own screen-name correctly — I am sure that last “O” was meant to be a “P”–(not sure if they were intending to use two P’s or not) but, what that intended is a little obvious.

Someone speculated that this character is more than one person, and I am thinking they might be correct. I was thinking earlier, it could be Rahm, or Alan Colmes, and/or Bob Beckel. Just My Opinion, though!

Yeah, but did you actually think that they would play nice and fair. NOT. Seeing that they have no problem letting dead people and felons vote for them also. I cannot figure out why anyone in their right mind would vote for a democrat anymore. Just as Beck just said that there are no more Democrats. They have been swallowed up by the Socialist movement. There are some Republican’s that have also fallen for the Socialist movement. But we will be watching them also. In two years if they are still Socialists then they will be gone too.

GOP polititians, beware. If you do not concede to the notion that conservatives in and around the Tea Party candidates represent the platform for converative politics, then you will run the risk of loosing your job. I strongly advise that the GOP UNDERSTAND the groundrules for new conservative politics going forward. The surest way to loose your job is to try to incorporate the new ranks of Tea Party candidates into old Republican-style politics.

We (the Tea Party) are gearing up for post-election and will be watching how you behave. Your job depends on your clearly demonstrated “out with the old and in with the new” approach to Conservative Politics.

But I would like to point out one glaring error in one of your earlier rants on this post. Hilary Clinton is NOT the Secretary of Defense, she is the Secrretary of STATE. You know, as in not in charge of war. That one bit of misinformation sort of renders everything you say as irrelevant. At least to me. I’m sure to you it seems like raving genius. Sorry to disappoint. You rather remind me of the clown in 6th grade who climbed on his desk in the middle of Science class and started howling like a dog. Most “patriots” are talkers who love to rant and wave flags. Won’t sacrifice like Progressives in giving big bucks. wE KNOW HOW GOOD IT IS TO HAVE COMPLETE POWER.

You’ll going to be real surpised on Nov 2nd because the fake polls are part of our strategy and so is voter fraud which you folks simply ignore.

Borrowing from an old adage that says “don’t count your chickens before they are hatched” I think we need to just wait until election day. Another saying is “exalt yourself and you will be humbled, humble yourself and you will be exalted”. Now I for one can not fathm or comprehend how anyone that calls themself an American Patriot could vote Democrat after all that has surface about the Obama socialist machine and the evil players who follow him, but then everyone has to make that call themselves. After the last vote is in, and after ACRORN has done all they could to lie and cheat and steal votes, it is only then that America will know if will take America back or merely slip away into socialism and obscurity. I pray every day that God will spare us such a disaster and provide guidance and courage for those who might have believed the lies and deceit of Barack HUSSEIN Obama in 2008. We have to be prepared for whatever happens but let us please at least wait until the voting is done before doing a victory dance. God bless America.

when they fight for substandard regulations that allow the largest companies to hire illegal’s in mass quantities, do you feel represented?

when they fight to cut taxes, the benefit to you is marginal at best, while the largest companies are handing out billions in bonuses, do you feel represented?

when they fight against fair policy in financial, banking and credit card industries, do you feel represented?

when they fight to allow the largest companies in the country to “offshore” and pay no taxes on their billions and billions in revenue, do you feel represented?

When they fight for the right of the pharmaceutical industry to rape our society, especially our senior citizens, do you feel represented?

will you give up all our jobs and stick with the 3 dollar shoes at walmart, for 5 or 7 points lower on your taxes? If 98% of us are under 250k, that should tell you something.

Our system has failed miserably, We have become used to our reps taking years to solve issues that are not that complicated, we have allowed them to turn us into exactly what we despise, a country where the wealthy are few and the needy and many.

Although this was previously suggested legislation that was shot down in the 90′s, Obama is diggin it up, to attempt to have it passed, AFTER MIDTERMS. Rather than focusing on extending the Bush Tax cuts, he wants to INCREASE taxes on every single deposit you make at the bank, be it paycheck, IRA, Social Security…..

Read someone on here saying this would be used to phase out the income tax……Do you trust your government to phase out income tax? Do you think a 1% DAILY PAID tax on EVERY SINGLE transaction with your financial institution is a softer tax than a ONE TIME 15%-45% tax? Don’t fool yourself.

All we can hope for at this point is to stalemate Obama’s agenda and maybe, with the help of God alone, we can impeach Obama, declare health care unconstitutional, or throw other wrenches in his work.

Republicans need to be 100% transparent to their constituents and show where they are persistently trying to decrease the size of the Federal government, give states back their rights, and curtail Obama’s agenda. They need to turn the tables and make the dems the “party of no” who are preventing us from fixing this country. We all need to be aiming for 2012. I just pray that the majority of Americans have woken up and understand all this and are not fickle enough to be swayed by the same old lies and dirty politics.

      I think we may have…

MAULEMALL, That’s sounds great, like the caption on some comic book or something, but if you cant answer the questions I pose here, if you cant address the point that what you are so readily running into is going to kill you, then good luck.

The conservatives created this mess with their policies, the evidence cant be denied, if the bush tax cuts helped the economy why were we losing 800,000 jobs a month while he was in office?

and so your answer is yes, you will sell out this country for some cheap chinese shoes and outdated ideology

when I play poker online, I can always tell who the republicans are,

      they make bad decisions,

      then blame everybody else

then start shouting insults and trying to vilify everyone to cover their stupid behavior

And my prediction is that it will be a wash, not a republican takeover, and then you are screwed, because instead of making sense and critically addressing the issues, the right chose once again to go stupid and its going to flop,

      Snowleopard3200,

I have found that many trolls can be quite entertaining and even intelligent when you try to engage them in conversation. But then you have the irrelevant dingleberries that are probably 13 year old geeks trying to be cute. I pay these folks no mind, they do not matter.

I had hopes for you earthrider, but maulemall is right, you are just regurgitating old, stale talking points. The problem is not that we are not taxed too little, it is that the government is spending WAY too much. But this is common sense, no matter how big the raise most people will find themselves back to living hand to mouth within weeks. It is really not a democrat/republican thing, though I always find myself guilty of that argument myself. It is a common sense matter. Most Americans understand how things are supposed to work. Hence the rise of the tea parties. It is obvious looking back what has worked and what has not. You can point the finger and blame whoever you like, but this country was not doing too bad right up to the end of Bush’s reign. How bad did he drive it into the ditch? We will probably never know because the FUD has become way too deep. It is irrelevant, Bush is history. But there is little doubt in anyone’s mind what Obama has done with it. It is the wrong path. You can argue that if you like, but I think the vast majority will agree with me and you will see the results in a week.

The only question is will the Repubs go back to business as usual. I pray they don’t. If they do then all we can do is vote the new crop of bums out. But as people wake up to the nonsense we will clean it up eventually. It may never be perfect, but it aint gonna be the USSR either…

Well – for one I’ll be grateful that we will have effectively led the world in the fight against a New World Order. A global governance. We will have stopped on it’s tracks the potential for serfdom in America.
I will be exhuberant at the prospect of having our country back from the grasps of the socialist elite.
I will be glad to be a part of a Nation who made a choice to defend the ideals it was originally founded upon and decided not to be redefined by global elitist and foreign special interests and established enemies from within.
I will be proud to be part of the most free and self-reliant society in the world.
i will be honored to be a part of a country who honors God as the source of it’s origins and blessing and part of a country who codifies the traditional family comprised of one man and one woman lawfully wedded as husband and wife and their natural offspring (and adopted children as circumstances may necessitate) as the fundamental unit of our society.
I will be proud to be our better selves again.

No what I would really like is for the govt to take care of me from the crib to the grave and then when they run out of money and want to raise retirement to 62 from 60 we can riot in the streets. Oh wait that’s in France. What exactly have the dems done for you? 1. oversaw the greatest growth in the deficit EVER. 2. oversaw the fall of Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac (Barney Frank and Chris Dodd) 3. double-digit unemployment 4. attempted to destroy health care with back room deals and zero transparency as Obama promised!! And as long as we are talking about promises; 1. Close Gitmo–no 2. End the war–no 3. keep unemployment under 8%–no 4. cross the aisle and work with Republicans–No

      Troll,

I hear you, I agree for the most part,
      but

80% of federal spending is on

      social security
      defense
      medicare
      unemployment
      medicaid/childrens health ins.

      which one you going cut??

say it loud, don’t muddy it up, SAY IT LOUD

when bush left office the budget deficit to gdp was 8.3%, right now we are at about 8.8%, not much difference

When Bush took office, the national debt was $5.73 trillion. When he left, it was $10.7 trillion

Total Cost of Wars Since 2001 – $1,097,990,767,780

During the bush years the median family income decreased by $2500 a year

Every year the bush admin ran roughly 600 billion in deficit,

Obamna started with The $600 billion deficit Bush was running plus the $200 billion of TARP money that bush approved,

Im not saying obamas path is correct, but don’t tell me he created this or is somehow worse, you may not like the facts, but they don’t lie,

and where was the outrage, not a word was heard from any of these new right wing rock stars…………

And I would just say, if you buddy borrows your lawnmower and brings it back with a blown engine, when is it no longer his fault that you lawnmower doesn’t run? a week, a month, a year???
Its when the lawnmower is running again…correct???.. that’s when he is no longer responsible, and not a second sooner.

      am I right or not?????

      Earthrider,

I would cut/work on all of the above! I am sure some of my views, such as fair tax, would not be agreeable to you, but that is okay. We just need to open the dialog. But things like social security can be patched. In my ideal world it would be privatized, but I doubt that would pass congress anyway. But look at medicare/medicade. Obamacare is certainly not helping the situation! No one argued that health care did not need reformed, but the dems lost sight of creating something that worked in lieu of a political victory, a feather for Obama. They passed a monster that they do not even know it contains! It cannot be fixed, it needs to be trashed and a real bi-partisan effort needs to be started all over. It caused much more damage than it fixed.

Listen, you keep going back to the finger pointing. Bush beat the hell out of the lawnmower, I will not defend him. But you mention how much Bush built up the deficit, look at Obama! 4 trillion in 2 years? For real? All that money down the drain on bailouts and stimulus! Just like the Bush finger-pointing, he is only going to go so far with the “what it might have been/ jobs saved” strategy. It is a cop-out and we all know it! Obama knows as much about running the economy as I do about brain surgery! It would not be bad if he surrounded himself with the best of the best, even if they were all uberliberal. But instead he surrounds himself with nothing but Marxist radicals. Then tries to claim he is not a socialist…

I am not going to argue about Bush. And I do not hate Obama, I am sure he feels he is doing all the right things. I recognize his history, the environment he grew up in, he really had no choice but to hold the ideals he does. But they are not “American” ideals. I hope most are beginning to realize that.

I miss the democratic party of 15 years ago. Many were radical left even back then, but even those folks would work with the radical right and things got done. It just hasn’t been the same since GW. I think Beck is right there is no more democratic party. The progressives ate them. The Republicans are being chewed on now. We are one small step away from a single party socialist system. I would kill to get bubba clinton back in office. Even Carter was less scary than what is going on now. GW? Yeah, I sure do miss him, warts and all. At least I had no doubts whose side he was on.

You seem to want to follow the Left, which historically speaking has done little for the people it claims to represent. If the American capitalist system has failed so miserably, why is the standard of living so much better in American than in the rest of the world? Even our poor are better off than the middle class in many nations.
What do most Americans want? A more sensible government that won’t continue to spend us into oblivion. A more contained government that will remain within the powers granted by the Constitution. A government that doesn’t punish success. And, as you ask, what if the people being voted in fail to follow the wishes of the people? We vote them out and replace them with other people that promise to listen to US and do the right thing. And we keep doing that until we get a government that takes its citizens seriously again.

Please specify who you are addressing M-O-O-N! It certainly cannot be me, or maybe you have not been fully comprehending my posts. I am an evangelical Christian that is about as far right as possible without being radical (at least IMHO). Especially on social matters. I would classify myself as a classic Regan Republican fiscally. I hold many libertarian ideals but am realistic enough to understand that it would not work in reality.

If you were referring to someone else, like the OP of this post earthrider, then I apologize, but understand that as your reply directly follows mine it appears you are addressing me.

vanhelsing You are the point, right there, a perfect representation of what is killing the conservative party…..

In a little back and fourth about the current situation, I get a couple of very smart, articulate points of view and then here comes jim bob moonshine with the usual drive by insult, call me a socialist, wants to kill me, thinks im a muslim, thinks I was born in iranastan……wow……brilliant mr beck, you’ve done a great job with your masses…………

this is why the republicans aren’t going to do as well as expected next week, because the too far rights are dumbing up the place and many of the Reagan era moderates will not be voting

look at O’Donnell, everything about her says fraud, frivolous lawsuits, doesn’t pay her taxes or her bills, try to milk the system 40 different ways and fails and then says hell, ill run for congress 5 times, and because she takes a seven hour class and then calls herself constitutional scholar, damn, and you think there is a difference between her and blagoovich? Most people don’t

prove me wrong, tell me I’m right or just move on by, simple little thoughts don’t work anymore and those who depend on narrow minded ignorance become irrelevant in society
