Weepgate: MSNBC Hosts Spar Over Boehner’s Tear-Filled Speech

After John Boehner gave a tearful speech last night that many saw as the beginning of his House Speakership, MSNBC hosts squared off about whether or not those tears were genuine. Surprisingly, Lawrence O‘Donnell and Chris Matthews came to Boehner’s defense. Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow did not, and Maddow even managed to get in a dig on Glenn Beck:

Mediaite points out that while Maddow is correct to certain extent, her madness trumps her message:

All of what Maddow says is true, and is a legitimate critique. However, its almost as though Ms. Maddow has turned into the “mean girl” in High School who is unhappy with the school election and is left only to deride the winner. Watch the video from MSNBC below.

The difference is conservatives love the country we have made. The one that exists today. The Progressives love the country they are trying make this one become. They show no love for what America is, only what they think it should be, which is apparently Venezuela.

I completly agree. Maddow, Olbermann and Matthews could never wrap their head around getting choked up over patriotism and love of country. It obviously makes them very uncomfortable that is why they attack and try to make Speaker Boehner look like a joke. Maybe they should show the black panthers at the polling places or talk about the“ food desserts” in america and they can work up some tears. Thank god american’s showed us yesterday, so we concrete proof these bozo’s are a very small minority.

In fact, when I see someone show true compassion it means they are sincere and I count it as an excellent quality in a person. Democrats won in some areas (Nevada, Calif, etc.) because they cheated (illegals voting, sending illegal letters to employees). I believe this is the only way they can win, which says a mountain full. I do hope the powers that be (conservatives) do something to investigate these frauds and show the American people just how evil and insane the progressive Democrats really are. If these new Republicans are smart, they will get their investigative arm around this current healthcare bill and tear it apart, limb by limb. It’s best to start there. INVESTIGATE. Bravo to John Kasich in Ohio. Ted Strickland was a real clown here, allowing Ohio, within 4 years of his term, to go downhill fast. He supported Obama and now he has paid the price. Bye, bye, Teddy. We are very happy to see you leave. Bravo to Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Florida. Conservatives have spoken, but that is not the end. We have a big uphill battle. Just because the House has a majority now of Republicans, doesn’t mean anything, if anything, will get thru the Senate. The Senate still hold the majority of Democrats. So, as I said, INVESTIGATE, INVESTIGATE, and INVESTIGATE until they evil-doers are revealed for what they really are. START THERE, REPUBLICANS! PLEASE START THERE and everything else will fall right into place.

      –Direct deposit of paycheck? TAXED.
–Moving money from one account to another? TAXED.

IF only 1% then $5,000 transaction means $50 imposed “TRANSACTION FEE” & your $5,000 becomes $4,950…Barrow $200,000 for a home purchase from a banking institution results in a $2000 extra FEE paid to federal government, you only get $198,000.

      look it up.
      http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/F?c111:1:./temp/~c111qbLj02:e316:

–This bill, spells it out that everyone will pay the Government 1% of their gross income.
–Page 9 states the House and Senate shall convene
not later than November 23, 2010 and
Page 11 states the vote on passage shall occur
not later than December 23, 2010.
