Here’s a quick did you know. Did you know that even despite resigning yesterday, former Rep. Anthony Weiner could still collect up to $1.28 million in pension benefits?
Roll Call reports on the numbers:
According to an analysis of his available benefits by the National Taxpayers Union, the New York Democrat’s pension and a savings plan lawmakers have access to similar to a 401(k) could be worth $1.12 million to $1.28 million.
At 46, Weiner will not be eligible for his pension for another decade, at which point he could begin drawing a reduced rate of $32,357 a year, according to NTU. If he waits until age 62 to begin drawing his pension, he will receive his full benefits, or $46,224, according to NTU’s calculations.
Additionally, if Weiner aggressively invested in the Thrift Savings Plan, his balance would be roughly $216,000, the organization said.
It seems even though he’s gone, Weiner will continue to haunt the American people for years to come.

As for hilLIE, she was a radical anti-America marxist from her college days.
She gained somewhat respectability when bilLIE became Ark AG then Gov.
She was up to her eyeballs in the Whitewater scam. McDougal just happened to die in jail and Foster committed suicide in Fort Marcy’s Park (he flew in, no grass stains or leaf particles on his shoe soles)
BTW. She and Vince were a “hot’ item in ArkThey used to go away in the mountains for weekends by themselves.bilLIE did not mind, he was involved in bimbos also.
It was hilLIE who took care of quieting down the bimbo eruptions when bilLIE was running for the prez
Both hilLIE and bilLIE were/are radicals. hilLIE much more so.bilLIE moved centrist when the repubs took over congress during his first term. He had to do so to get reelected. Phipissed of hilLIE, when that happened , her future Soetoro Care went down in flames. She was illegally trying to get Soetoro care for the country. IOW she was trying to pass laws even though she was just the wife.
But she did say during the election “You buy one you get one free.” Prez and Co prez.
BTW. One can only come to that conclusion

How much more can Weiner, a Jewish man with his obscenities, degrade himself before Islam and Islamic in-laws?? And he STILL gets to have his pension?

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 10:36amFirst they are all OVERPAID in Government, secondly when you are no longer in the office you should no longer get any benefits, NOTHING! You were either voted out which means in the real world you were FIRED and if you resign then it probably means that in the real world you were going to be FIRED! This whole system has become a joke! Our Founding Fathers Knew this would happen and prepared for it, read below..

If the US Congress got paid for performance, they would not be paid. But the congress also gets raises for taking US into the toilet. And they don’t have to ask the boss for their raises.
I mean, when a company runs out of $$, there is no “munny” to pay anyone. It goes out of bidniz.
And anyway, who would lend a company more $’s when it keeps borrowing more than it can ever repay. Bankrupt. Liquidate what assets are left , if any, and pay off the debtors a nickle on the $ . Mebbe less

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 10:32amWeiner and others in congress/government get millions in pensions, for the rest of their lives, at our expense while our men and women in UNIFORM who serve SACRIFICIALLY for our FREEDOM get kicked to the curb when they quit the armed services after serving their term, HONORABLY.
What’s wrong with this picture? Our military men and women should be the ones collecting the pensions. They (enlisted) are out there on enmy lines defending our right to vote for dirt bags like this, coming home at the end of their tour of duty and being shown the door without any financial assistance, it’s appalling.
No, Weiner does NOT deserve his pension. You dishonor AMERICA while in office you should be shown the door. I’ll borrow a phrase from DT – Your’e FIRED! No benefits package here! See ya! Adios! One last thing, I thought these people in office were elected to “serve” We the People”. Not pad their pockets with our hard earned dollars. AMERICA wake up, let’s take back our country.

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 10:59amYes, ALL PENSIONS have to be ended or we’re all really fooling ourselves about the future.
Pensions, unlike normal pay, cannot be budgeted correctly because bureaucrats always assume unreasonable rates of return on pension investments. My favorite happens to be Wisconsin, where the genius administrators assume (try not to laugh) an 8% rate of return; even with all that’s gone wrong with investments over the last 5 years – it’s amazing.
ALL WORKERS in this country should be paid today, for what they are worth today. Whatever the market determines the pay should be, is what it should be; not whatever our hearts “want” us to pay. There’s always a sob story to be heard, but no bigger sob story will ever be told than the destruction of this nation financially.

Posted on June 17, 2011 at 11:16amLike him or hate him, His behavior is not a crime (that we know of). Be careful that we remain a people of law not mob rule. What ‘The Weiner’ did was reprehensible and showed very poor judgment and disgraced the office that he held. But no criminal act was proven or even charges made. Before you advocate mob rule denying him his right remember your, a rumor, a gossip, or a wrong number from a under age child sexing to a friend way from mob rule destroying your life, deserved or not. Be better and remember Democracy comes in many forms. Mob rule is a Democracy of the majority crushing (or stealing the rights of) a minority or one.

You do bring up a good point about mob rule. However, he is a REPRESENTATIVE and his constituents have a right to have him recalled or removed. A Republic has people that represent a group of people and if this REP continually goes against their wishes he/she should be removed by HIS/HER Constituents. Mob rule would mean anyone coming into his meeting (outsiders) and removing him…at some point each locale can recall their rep or at least write, call and express their disapproval.
