‘We’re About to Cure Cancer‘ if We Don’t ‘Blow it’: Beck Warns What Could Happen if Americans Give Away Their ‘Creative Power’

On Wednesday evening, Glenn Beck marveled at American exceptionalism as manifest by the myriad technological advances in products, medical treatment, space travel, products and services the nation produces. “We’re about to cure cancer,” he announced, adding that Americans are “on the cusp” of such greatness but “could blow it” if we chose to “settle for crumbs…and give away our creative power.”

The concern for many conservatives is that if the environment becomes to hostile, void of incentives and burdened by mounting tax burdens and regulations, Americas creators dry up and whither away.

Beck said that a “better tomorrow is coming” but that “regardless of what happens November 6th, things will get tougher before they get better.”

he touched on a variety of issues throughout the segment, including a review of his new home state, which he believes is allowing creators the freedom to do what they do best.

The clip, while a bit lengthy at just over 26 minutes, contains valuable insight and is worth watching in its entirety:

This is the same Government that stifled our creativity by pumping millions dollars into private corporations to fund the race to the moon…. right? Just wanted to be sure…

Yes, but at that time there wasn’t so much money wasted on paying people to sit at home smoking dope! The moon race was worth the $$’s because of the things which were developed from the research. Teflon comes to mind, for one.
But more importantly todays gov. only wants to waste money on welfare and mbamas’ laundrying efforts with the unions and phoney green crap!

Many people are pushing to hard for the technological scientific cures and totally dismiss the spiritual remedies for our ailments. We are spiritual beings who are in the dimension of matter, space and time. All of our problems in this reality stem from spiritual unawareness. The scientific cures for cancer are very dangerous to the rest of our body, mind and spirit. Turn from your sin, embrace your creator and pray to him as much as possible. Glenn Beck thinks this world can be saved and only wants it to be so because he loves all the things in this reality more than he loves the spiritual. This is a disposable world and everything in it is designed to fall apart, break down, die. This is not pessimistic. The true optimist says all these things can happen, I can even lose my life and I will be OK with it because I put my trust into the spirit and not the things of this world. Glenn speaks of impossible things. The states will not do what he says regarding provisions and farmers will not participate in this program Glenn just tried to initiate. Not that you can’t take all the measures Glenn recommends for survival in a apocalyptic meltdown, but it really will take away from all the attention you should spend in the spiritual things. I strongly recommend turning to God’s word in the Talmud, Torah and most important the Gospels of Jesus Christ. But you can find some spiritual comforts, healing and growth from any of the other religions if necessary. Jesus works!

Too much money in cancer TREATMENT. That’s why no cure has been “found.” Alternatives are ignored.
1.) The patient drinks a solution containing gold ions. The gold with attach itself to the cancer cells. Exposure to radio waves (NOT radiation) will heat the gold up and destroy the cancer cells.
2.) Dr. Bob Beck has a device that attaches to your wrist and will destroy any/all viruses in your system. You AIDS patients take note.

And do you know how to target these gold particles to the thousands of genetically variant cancers and tumors full of heterogeneity? Killing every single neoplastic cell and not touching normal somatic cells? Has not been been figured out yet.

Funny, nobody seems to be taking away Genn Beck’s creative power, do they? He’s created his own network (starring HIM). His own university (I’m assuming with curriculum dictated by HIM). His own “rallies” where the key note speaker for every one was (wait for it) HIM. His own“news” website which typically feature at least one story about HIM or something HE talked about on HIS network (btw, you can’t really LEARN anything from a one-sided source. I mean, hahaha, unless you ONLY want to learn BAD things about Obama, GOOD things about Romney, and DIVINE things about the Founders…). Of course, when you never debate anyone, have anyone on your show that disagrees with you, or ever publically debate anyone who disagrees with you, it’s pretty easy to be as creative as you want. Especially when people will ACTUALLY PAY to see and hear it. And yet, with all this creativity with which he’s made MILLIONS, he’s warning YOU about having your creativity taken away. Irony anyone??? No. Nobody here see’s it. Sigh…

And THIS is the reason (despite what he said at his rally about “them crappping their pants” because of you following what HE’S doing) that the rest of us who DO see the irony don’t take you guys seriously. At all. I mean, not even A LITTLE!! We’re laughing- LAUGHING- at an entire group of people who PAY to follow a guy who will NEVER (and I mean NEVER) debate anyone else and then tell you what to read and how important his next show is. Lol, please. No, you don’t scare us. You ARE however, EXTREMELY entertaining…

      I DON’T see the irony…

Glenn says the America that allowed him to build a media empire is not going to exist much longer if Obama is re-elected.

      I DO see the irony…

Obama says the America that allowed him to become President never did exist.

If criticising Beck makes you feel good, go for it. If you‘re doing it because you won’t face reality then you’re foolish. If you‘re doing it because you’re blinded by your own ideology maybe you should take a second look.

The political powers that be will never allow a true “cure” for cancer. The testing & treatment process force people into “the system” where massive profits are made (albeit at great expense as well) and where you lose the ability to make decisions for yourself. The various non-medical-establishment approaches to both avoidance of cancer, and programs to help the body fight off the cancer are demonized and some of the food items providing the proper nutrients are either made illegal or made very rare in our society. I’m sure we have plenty of drones here, though, to say I am full of it. The research to get this information is a hard process, not like tuning into NBC or TheBlaze.

What a crock. People here should take some time and actually research where a good deal of regulations come from and which lobbyists push for them. In the case of the FDA, more than a few come from large drug companies who seek to use regulations to block and limit competition. While your at it look at which industry groups and companies lobby for food stamps and increasing the amount. Oh and the chart he has is also a lie, as studies constantly show that as a % of income, the low and middle class are more charitable than the wealthy.

American exceptionalism is a moot point when this country has turned her back on what made her exceptional in the first place. When the courts of the land condone murder of innocents; when churches of men turn a blind eye to the molestation of innocents; when educators fill innocent minds with everything except the Truth; when the government elected by the people takes the wealth of it’s citizens by theft; when the media takes a lie and makes it look and sound like truth so as to mislead the people; where is exceptionalism ?

The topic of exceptionalism should not be man-centered. It should be God-centered.
Until America turns back to God she will not be healed. As far as a cure for cancer….who shall we thank if that happens…..an exceptional man, or a Holy God?

      @BEE

Why do non-believers have to ridicule believers?

LOUISE answered correctly, you may do as you choose.

But why do you choose to do what you do? Are you ever unhappy? Do you choose to be? Are you ever angry? Do you choose to be? Are you ever wrong? Do you choose to be?

If we are in charge, why are we unhappy, angry or mistaken?

If we are only beings reacting to chemical reactions within our bodies; if we are only reactionary, why have laws that imply that we made a conscious choice to act (or not act)?

I understand the sentiment, but how does Beck back up his assertion that “we’re about to cure cancer.” Who? Which group of scientists? Where’s the formal announcement of such an advancement?

It sounds like feel-goody lies, unfortunately.

Be careful. Medical dead ends abound. This could be one of them. It is likely. I hope you are not depending on it. It is not a good sign that “Mission Statement” of the Kanzius Foundation is raising awareness of their theory of treatment. That usually means they spend a lot on fundraising and media ads that are designed to raise more money for fundraising and media ads.

We aren’t about to “cure cancer”. There are so many different types of cancer involving different genes and different mechanistic causes. You can’t stop mutations.

We might be on the verge of curing specific kinds of cancer. But there is no silver bullet for all kinds of cancer.

The sad thing is, cancer mortality rates have plateau’d since the 70s. Stage 4 cancer is still a death sentence, not to mention there are many orphan diseases with no known cure. I’m skeptical about “curing cancer” any time soon, though it IS worth noting that over the last 80 years, America has taken home the medicine Nobel prize (sub category) 84% of the time out of the 198 countries of the world. So we’re obviously doing something right, but you can’t cut corners with progress.
