‘We’re On Our Way to Wisconsin’: Radio Caller Claims Unions Are Busing People Into Wisconsin to Vote for Democrats

On WMAL’s Chris Plante show today, Plante fielded a possible whistle blowing call regarding voter fraud on the part of unions in the Wisconsin recall election today. The caller, who claimed to be a member of a mostly Democratic union in Michigan, explained that he was riding on one of four buses from Michigan into Wisconsin, where he planned to cast a (fraudulent) vote for Scott Walker, unlike his fellows, who he suggested would vote (equally fraudulently) for Tom Barrett.

Listen to the segment below:

Excerpts from the transcript:

CALLER MIKE:

I’m trying to be quiet… I’m actually on a bus. I’m from Michigan and I’m actually on a bus. Three other buses following us and we’re on our way to Wisconsin. I’m not even a registered Democrat.

PLANTE:

…and what are you doin’? What are you going there for?

CALLER MIKE:

I’m gonna vote for Scott Walker…

PLANTE:

You’re going to Michigan? You’re going to Wisconsin from Michigan?

CALLER MIKE:

No, we’re going to Wisconsin. We’re from Michigan.[...]

PLANTE:

Now, wait a minute, now wait just a minute. You’re going, you’re on a bus. in a convoy of four buses. You left the Detroit area. The convoy of four buses is headed to Wisconsin to vote. Now who organized this little foray?

CALLER MIKE:

Chris, I’m not even sure. I just heard about it and I jumped on the bus. I‘m talking low key cause’ I guarantee that if these people knew my intentions..man I’d be killed.

PLANTE:

You’re on a bus full of people going from Michigan to Wisconsin and you believe that most of the people on the bus..other than yourself..you believe that ALL of the people other than yourself are going there to vote for Tom Barrett

CALLER MIKE:

Most of them are Democrat..it’s a Democratic union..its actually a Democratic union organized by Democrats. But I’m not goin on there to vote for the Democrat. I’m going on there to vote for Scott Walker. Once I heard about it I- I was thinking, hey..this is an opportunity to sabotage what they always do to Republicans.

Plante also took some steps to do due diligence on the story, to try to make sure it wasn’t a hoax, asking after the number of people involved, and where they had met to begin this venture in fraudulent voting. The caller provided answers to all of these questions, though they were sufficiently vague that the story still retains the status of a rumor. Not seeing it corroborated anywhere else, we urge readers to be critical.

UPDATE: The Right Scoop notes this important piece of information, which casts extraordinary doubt on the call:

This doesn’t make the call fraudulent, but it does make it unverifiable and therefore moot. Chris Plante reported in the following segment that caller ‘Mike’ did not stay on the line during the break for Plante to get his phone number.

      Good to see you.

Lots of haters here today, spreading the same old tales of ‘false doctrine’, wrong God’, and the ever classic “I pray for Glenn to find the truth”.

      But I digress.

A post on the Daily Kos (a far left blog) earlier today said:

The Ron Paul supporters ARE America. It’s the Romney dweebs who think they own the election process and its outcome.

If the voters actually decided, Romney would not be where he is today, another wolf in sheep‘s clothing foisted upon a largely unsuspicious public who don’t realize the injustice of the two party sham.

P8riot – How can you compare Ron Paul delegates lawfully taking advantage of GOP party rules – and these people blatantly breaking laws?

      Answer – you can’t.

If this is not a hoax – these people on the bus and the people responsible should be charged for voter fraud.

If you can’t see the difference, you are part of the problem.

It was lawful all right but sleazy, which pretty much describes RP. If I recall correctly, picking up on RP’s tactics cost Santorum the nomination. His robocalls turned the tide in favor of Romney in MI, and it was downhill for Santorum after that.

We passed voter ID legislation and a cheat-lie-and-steal Liberal Dane countyjudge blocked it from being used in this election.

      I voted this morning and took out my driver’s license when they asked for my name. The old folks working the poles eyes got huge;

“Oh no, we don’t need, ah don’t want to see your ID” Like they had been warned not to ask for it. I insisted they look at mine. We are in a tiny little area and the turnout was as high as a presidential election based on my voter number in line at 11 am this morning.

You can register as a 1st time voter the day of the election & there are dozens of loop-holes like just giving a driver’s liscence # etc… Unless they have access to a list with every person‘s name to check it against I don’t see how even an honest poll worker would be able to prove they are ineligible to vote that day.

All this spooky union talk and how bad they are, grow up. This is just a tactic that is being used by the upper elite to get free lobbiests ( the tea party) to push for things they have paid others to do wiht no success. The rich have wanted to bust unions for years , since most of the cost of business is wages, to increase profit and you idiots have fallen for it hook line and sinker.

I was curious of the TEA party when it first started but suspected it was a GOP ploy. YOu guys all siad “ we arent GOP or Lib but conservative americans” yet you all are blindly supporting Mitt Romney!! That‘s right while the spooky unions allow government workers pay raises and full pension benefits in a down economy we are over reacting to believe that less money being made in the private sector can continue to pay for teachers who don’t educate our children, and other government officials that work less hours and enjoy more benefits at the tax payers burden for life.

It is time to cut government back to the size it is supposed to be. We can not continue to subsidize a government that is over reaching and fails to run any program effeciently.

All the the progressives are doing is widening their voter base by employing more government workers at the tax payers expense. In a down economy businesses have to cut back to stay a float. In a down economy the progressives continue to grow the government employed placing more stress on the taxpayers and adding to the national debt.

It’s time unions and the government understood the taxpayers money is not yours to do what you will, it is the money given to government to run an effecient government to provide certain services that are needed. Too many over reaching policies has the government doing things that should be done by the private sector(obamacare). The government has no place in controlling healthcare, they will not run it effeciently and will only encroach on more freedoms of the citizens to do so.

Wake up socialist, your lies are for your own benefit and we know who you are.

If they bus people in then we do not have a constitutional republic but mob rule.

I remember from a discussion forum, a hand waving liberal who thought he was a magician was arguing that you had a greater chance to get hi by lightening than for an election to be stolen by vote fraud.

That was their way of saying move along nothing to see here.
Out of the total number of elections from dog catcher to President that might be true. But a decision tree analysis would show the error of that liberal prog troll. An important point about a decision tree analysis is not only the percentages for each out come but the value of each outcome.

The value is high when you elect a president (Kennedy / stolen in Chicago), governor (Washington State Gregoire), Minnesota Senator (Franken Duluth) & Florida (military ballots not counted.

If a party decides anything goes & steals election for a long time, then I have no allegiance to them. If something happens to them I won’t lift a finger to help them.

Democrat politicians & activists act like chimpanzees except they can talk a better game. Other than that there is no difference.
