‘We’ve Got to Do the Job’: Former Netanyahu Chief of Staff Says Israeli Strike on Iran ‘Imminent’

The former chief of staff to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Saturday an Israeli strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities is “imminent.”

Naftali Bennett appeared on Fox News’ “Huckabee” and painted a dire picture of a world with a nuclear Iran, saying Israel will not hesitate to take action if necessary — and that time is of the essence.

“We’re at the very last moment. This is going to be the first time in history that a maniacal, radical Islamic regime will acquire a nuclear weapon,” he said. “The day after they have a bomb will be a different day for the entire world.”

On Saturday, a report emerged saying Iran is headed for a major nuclear expansion, the same day as reports that Iranian warships had passed through the Suez Canal.

Calling Iran “an octopus of terror,” Bennett told host Mike Huckabee in no uncertain terms: “We have to stop them, and yes, it is imminent.”

Huckabee questioned whether Israel would be able to sustain a “hot war” against Iran, to which Bennett replied, “if necessary we will.”

“Obviously America has much more capabilities of sustaining an attack on Iran but right now as it stands most of Iran’s facilities are still vulnerable. They‘re moving their facilities underground so that’s why we’re at the very last moment,” he said. “Right now we could still take them out based on public knowledge but a year from now it’s going to be a whole different ballgame. That’s why over the next 12 months the world has to act.”

He was harshly critical of President Barack Obama, charging that the U.S. administration has “squandered the ability to impose crippling and even paralyzing sanctions on Iran. The sanctions that are being imposed now are too little, too late.”

Bennett said many Israelis are concerned about whether they would have America’s support if they strike.

“We do not know for sure now that America will be there for us in this current administration and that’s why we are concerned,” Bennett said. “We’re being told, ‘Israel do not attack Iran.’ But how can we not do it? We don‘t know what we’re going to see 12 months from now, we have no guarantee that others will take care of it. If necessary we’ll do the job for the world but please, please don’t tell us to stand back and just wait and I guess pray for something good to happen.”

“We’ve got to do the job. If Obama won’t do it, please let Israel do the job,” he said.

    Its a shame that Isreal has to do this for US as our president is a traitor in chief and will not stand with Isreal.I beleve that GOD will protect Isreal in the end but there is no telling what will become of America for not standing with Isreal in these times.I so want to see my grandson who is not yet two grow up to be a wonderful happy man but i fear that wont happen now and it breaks my heart that we are willing to lay down and submit to satan without a fight.Oh well whatever will be will be.

      Hopefully, my copy and pasting of Zechariah 12 will have occurred. Please pay attention to verses 2,3, and 9. Most certainly, (in my mind, at least), I see the scene being set. Then, the book of Revelation…..

      I would rather have the USA stand with GOD and Israel, then against.

      I fully believe; due to the decisions of this present leadership’s continual, purposeful weakening of our nation’s finances, national independence, morality, spirit, military, character, reputation, and support of arab rebellions to be handed over to the “brotherhood”….if allowed to continue in office…we will be a nation destroyed by GOD.

      I would rather have Iran, “Babylon”, or all of them try to attack the USA for being Christian and standing w/GOD and Israel. Perhaps, for that reason alone; we would be spared or at least considered martyrs (not a bad choice for eternity), rather then GOD’s enemy.

      Then, to DEFINITELY be destroyed by GOD!

      I will find it hard to sleep and breathe until his removal from office and return to indonesia, middle east, or kenya. ( I just don’t see the 2 of them returning to Chicago….they want to be in charge of the whole earth!)

      Im not so sure the US plans to do nothing.

      There are as yet unverified reports from the western states of bunker busters being tested with the booms being explained away as sonic booms by high level aircraft.

      You have three carrier battle groups belonging to the americans and the french carrier battlegroup all in the gulf or operating in the viscinity. Even for the invasion of Iraq i believe there were never more than two.

      We have reports (that the blaze doesnt seem to be picking up) of US troops massing on the islands of Socotra and Masirah. The reports claim tens of thousands in place with a hundred thousand expected by mid April.

      All a coincidence?

      Female: I think…I know there are more than fifty such righteous men and women in American. God will not destroy the USA based on the actions/sins of others…he is faithful to protect his own. We live under the dispensation of great grace being poured out onto all the nations, us included. Thats not to say America will not suffer a devastating attack on our own soil or forces abroad. Its how we then react what will be most important.

      We are to fight evil on this earth. We are to uphold Gods basic laws and try to live moral and content lives. Fighting evil calls for KILLING of those who do evil and LIVE by the sword such as Islam does. If we fail to fight evil this time, then God will intervene to save his people both Jew and Gentile. NO Buddhas, no harikrisnas and flase religions and cults. Fighting evil protects the innocent among us. God is looking out for them too and he knows what will happen to them if evil takes hold. They will suffer more than we can ever know. Those children who no doubt inhabited Sodom and Gomorrah were spared this life through the quick and fierce judgement reigned down on those who should have been protecting them. We must do what is in our power and under God to fight evil.

      The comments on the Blaze are encouraging as most are in support Israel. I pray everyday thanking God for putting me in these Biblical times. Its like we are standing on top of a hill looking down at the actual Crucifixion of Christ played out before our eyes – the only different is, that we are watching the end of the New Testament and not the beginning.

      This is not a Political Battle, but a Theological Battle – one side believes that the Anti Christ is their Messiah and the other side believe Jesus is the Messiah. One side follows the teachings of a False Profit who is still in his Grave and the other side follows Jesus who defeated death, hell and the grave.

      I stand with Israel, God and the Bible – I don’t know how God is going to use me in this battle, but all I can say is that I’m prayed up, packed up and I’m looking up. God Bless Israel and God Bless the Jews.

      I really don‘t buy all this ’any day now’ rhetoric from Israel. When has Israel EVER telegraphed their intentions they way they are now? We are going to strike any day now we are going to do it in the spring blah blah blah. Just do it and shut up. When Israel felt that they needed to bomb Syria in 2003 did they telegraph? What about Iraq in 1981, or Egypt in 1967 or Lebanon time and time again? They don’t tell the world what they intend to do, they just do it. Now when it comes to Iran not only do they keep telling us that they will attack, they are giving a time frame. Really smart telling the Iranians what your intentions are so they can make preparations. This is all BS. I don’t think Israel has any intention to bomb Iran unless they are 100% sure they will receive complete political cover. In any case they better be prepared for a swift response.

      WARRIOR4ZION You really should read Rev: 3: 7-10 and really ask yourself just what that means and do a little research. Understand that the Bible tells us that the Jews will come back to Israel from the Middle East NOT from Europe as most in Israel now are. Those are the false Jews, people not born from the lineage of David but were converted as a nation by a king. They are the Talmud Jews, not the Torah Jews or (Orthodox). Do the research. Look it up. It’s out there.

      Now as far as war goes with Iran. Understand what it is you are calling for. Understand that China and Russia are both nuclear countries and THIS time the war won‘t be strictly ’over there.’ It will come here, these 48 States, for the first time since the War of 1812. Are you ready for that? We have been blessed (or cursed depending on how you look at it) that all the wars we have fought have not touched this land but I‘m afraid that won’t be the case this time.

      All observant Jews follow the Talmud regardless of origin. The only exception is the Karaites who broke away after the Talmud was written. The Talmud (the main one) was written in Babylon. And as for your whole “false Jew” nonsense, there were Jews living in Europe long before the Khazars (the king I presume your speaking of) existed. Did they just disappear? Moreover, the Khazars lived in Eastern Europe/Southwest Asia yet European Jews are mostly Ashkenazim, a name that refers to a region in western Germany. Lastly, Jewish converts are as genuinely Jewish as those born into the faith, an idea stated many times in the Bible.

    War is coming. Israel will work behind the scenes until they feel they have the opportunity. I am sure they would prefer someone else in the White House but if Iran gets the bomb all bets are off. America has long neglected hostile nations with appeasement….this will bite us in the backside. Let Israel do what she must to protect herself and we should stand with her. God Blessed Israel and America…we must defend freedom and a people’s right to exist.

      As was already stated… Well said. The CIF of this country and its armed forces has neither the guts nor will to stand with Israel. His bumbling and lack of leadership in the world has made us weak and vulnerable. We will pay the price for this , but I think in the end we will also “reset” and prevail. In time, reason and the American desire for freedom and justice will shine through and again a great nation will arise.
      Until then, pray for Isreal, and a new sanity in our elected leaders. Invest heavily in “brass and lead” and try to stock up on food and supplies. God bless hang tight!

    A lot of brave words here. But, words mean nothing without action. I doubt any of you will actually rush over to Israel to help them fight. Many of us on this board are seniors and most of us seniors are veterans. It seems the non veterans and non military are waiting for us to do their work again while they stand in front of their TV and point their Wii at cartoons. By the way, when the defecation hits the rotating blades, it will do no good to flee to Canada or Australia because they are in the mix this time. I guess you will go back to your Xboxes and pretend to be soldiers again while the rest of us look at what we had to do and now, what you will not do.

      I joined the USN believing war was emminent w/ Iran in 1980.

      I would do it again, tomorrow, to protect the USA or Israel, if the youngsters of this nation refuse.

      I have instructed all my children (more than the national average x4+) to be willing to fight for this nation and Israel.

      I have children in the military and instructed them to obey all orders except to attack Israel…go AWOL.

      Sorry, Hickory…..me thinks, you are wrong!

      I am willing to die for my children, probably my neighbor, my country, Israel , and therefore GOD.
      I am willing for my children and other generations to do the same.

      Rather then die of high cholesterol or a heart attack watching the prophecies occur.

      I’ve already decided that if any person military or otherwise comes to my door announced and orders me to hand over my legally registered weapons, I will do so involuntarily – because I’ll probably be dead after the fact.

      In my opinion any order to disarm the citizenry would be an illegal order in violation of the US Constitution no matter who gave it. Anyone following that order is my enemy.

      All military and civilian service members better think more than once about the oath they took to uphold and defend the Constitution before you attempt to carry out that illegal order.

      You may get some of us, but not all of us……and WE outnumber you.

      You are dead bang on. I don’t know what war you were in, but I was in Viet Nam. We were not on a war footing except for the draft. The only people who cared about us was our families.

      My son has served 3 tours of duty in our current war. He intends on making the Army a career. Until Americans decide to go on a war footing and not go shopping, vets will have to do the heavy lifting. Except it will be the new generation of vets. If the US has foreign boots on our ground, we may be too old to to hump but we will make a hell of a effective home guard.

      I seriously doubt the military will come to our homes and take our weapons. Our military are not mindless robots.

      I stand with Israel. Do the deed. If I were a younger man I would join the IDF just to go to war and defend her against Iran. I was discharged from the USMC just 16 months before the Beirut bombings of our embassy and USMC barracks. I have watched Iran at war, killing and capturing Americans since the day they stormed the Embassy in Tehran in 1979, through the supply of arms and troops in Iraq, and now the attack on Israelis around the globe. Its time for payback. Time to cowboy up, put on the Kevlar, fire up the B2′s and Tomahawks, load up the B52′s and do the deed. Its time to end, the end of the world… no matter the consequences we shall surely feel.

      Hmmm, very good! I have spent the last few hours watching you tube videos by this man. I saw many of the questions I asked in Sunday school and got scolded for, answered. I really appreciated not having to stand on my head, twirling around in the world of supposed “geographic allegories”. I will probably be watching a lot more and eventually be buying that book to share with others!

      I don’t think they can afford to wait that long. If you‘re Iran and the others eager for Israel’s destruction are you going to wait? Or are you going to take your shot while there’s a weak US President who seems eager to appease you, and is surrounded by people sympathetic to the Anti-Semitic cause? It’s not important what Obama really would do. It’s what our enemies think he would do…and our friends. Israel clearly does not think we have their back. Iran is acting like it can do whatever it wants toward Israel without the US getting involved. (Heck, if they can blow up US servicemen in Iraq and AFghanistan without punishment why we do anything about Israelis?) That is an incredibly dangerous situation. It seems Israelis enemies have to make a move while Obama is still President – whether nuclear or not — and Israel can’t stake its survival on the hope the guy gets replaced. Another reason Israel will act sooner rather than later: It’s gotta go after Iran while there are still Arab nations that will be quietly happy to see it happen. Obama’s Arab Spring is making that more difficult by the day.

      Sure. There used to be a day where all kinds of recruiters were found on the west bank. You could probably even do a dual citizenship-paperwork and time. There were NYers in several of their extended two way live fire excercises with the muslim of the moment…6 days, Yom Kippor, ad nauseum. The camel toed jockeys keep trying, and learn very little from their repeated mistakes. We need to give them time so we can get more of our lefty libs lined up doing the smart human shield thing first. Tifosa, steelhead, encinomom and a few other trolls here need to dust off the old passport and head on over, don proper apparel and start shielding Tehran with their persons. Hurry trolls,hurry.

      There are other volunteer positions as well. Since every citizen is required to join the military at 18 for three years (barring exemptions), a huge portion of the adult population is part of the reserve forces. Without volunteers the country might find itself having to pick between more soldiers and more supplies.

      @Gary_K is correct and I am a bit surprised that no one is agreeing with his statement. If Israel unilaterally attacks Iran, WW3 will be on. Russia will support Iran and Syria, while the West will support Israel, It is inevitable that Islamic radicals from surrounding nations will join the fight against Israel. We could see military opportunists in other areas of the world as well, South America, Mexico, Africa, Southern Europe. War is not a good idea at this time.

If you want to die for Israel then go ahead and join IDF send them all your money if u want. Hopefully they’ll leave the rest of us alone and get AIPAC out of this country. WWI was started when the European Imperialists realized they were running out of room to expand and if WWII was really about the Jews I‘m pretty sure we would’ve bombed the tracks to Auschwitz.       TZION…regarding to WW1 i take the word of the former zionist Jew turned christian Benjamin Freedman. WW2 was engineered once again by zionists. Hitler had offered peace to Britain once he conquered Poland but they didn’t want peace. Instead of accepting peace terms Churchill lobbied hard (and ultimately successfully) to get America into WW2, but most Americans were against it so FDR waited until pearl harbor. If Britain had accepted peace terms offered to her in 1940 they would not have had to endure the blitzkrieg which killed tens of thousands of innocent Brits and of course many soldiers would not have died continuing the campaign. It is was never America’s business whatever was going on in Europe. But then just as it is right now, Jew owned media propagandists are always successful in suckering Americans into joining wars in far off lands that we have zero stake in.

      Tzion…you should be asking why Britain agreed in the first place to defend Poland. Is it any of their business what happens in Poland? Is it worth a single British life to defend Poland, even to the point of rejecting peace terms with the Germans? And if they were so protective of Poland, then why did they do nothing when Russia invaded Poland 3 weeks after the initial German invasion? Why did they declare war ONLY on Germany? Could it be because Jews were riding high in communist Russia so we aligned ourselves with them? Also, America was already in the war before pearl harbor, FDR was just looking for an excuse to jump in with both feet. We were providing supplies to Britain in North Africa and were constantly in skirmishes with the German U boats. I am not a nazi apologist but i am a world war revisionist. The ‘official’ reasons that we have been given for getting into it are not entirely true. I am most certainly not a fascist and I treasure individual liberties and revile communism. Thus I support Ron Paul. History, however is written by the winners.

      Correct me if I’m wrong, but I seem to remember Germany breaking those peace treaties first. Moreover, seeing as Germany attacked and invaded several other countries without provocation and who were in no way threatening to Germany, I think it’s safe to assume that Britain and France would have been attacked anyways. When someone says that they, as the superior race, should rule over everyone else, they’ll generally keep on fighting until someone stops them. Remember, Hitler gained his power by creating a state of emergency and justified his takeover as necessary in order to fight Germany’s enemies. If Germany ran out of enemies he would have to return all of his power.

      Germany invaded Poland because it was German territory before the ww1. Germany was obliterated after the first world war and was fragmented in the versailles treaty to punish and weaken it. The European powers had to have known that Germany would try and take these territories back as soon as it was able to. Think about it….would any American respect a treaty that fragmented America even if we were defeated in war? I don’t want to get too deep into ww1 but you really need perspective on the motivations that made these events happen. In any case why didn’t Britain and France declare war on Russia after it had invaded Poland 3 weeks after Germany did? You still have no answer for that one. The Jews liked Russia so they made America, Britain and France align ourselves with them even after we knew their genocidal policies in Ukraine, Eastern Poland and other areas under Soviet occupation. ZIonist Jews succeeded in getting Britain and France to fight with Germany even though they had zero interest and zero to gain in this war. They go to war with Germany and hundreds of thousands of them get killed and for what? To stop the Germans from taking Poland back? They even reject peace and refuse to stop the bloodshed…all because of the Jews. What a shame!!!

      You’re still excusing the Nazis. If they’re concern was regaining German land, why did they not just take what had been German? They chose to take ALL of Poland, including the part they offered Russia, even though most of it wasn’t German. Same story for Czechoslovakia. They also invaded Hungary, Lithuania, Denmark, France, several north African countries, etc. Clearly they had much larger goals than just “reuniting Germany”. As for Russia, Russia had been operating more quietly and their actions were far more restrained. Hitler had been making a lot more noise. When Britain and France failed to stop Germany, they really weren’t in a position to protest against Russia.
      By the time Germany invaded Poland it had already annexed Austria and conquered Czechoslovakia, the latter of which they did after Britain attempted to peacefully resolve the dispute by returning the area that had once been German. Take a good geography lesson on the interwar borders. If Germany first takes Austria and then Czechoslovakia, wouldn’t Poland be next? Britain told Hitler not to invade. Hitler knew invading Poland would mean war with Britain. He invaded Poland with that in mind.

      Tzion i’m not at all a nazi apologist i realize they have a lot of dirt and blood on their hands. The basis of my argument is why were the British involved in such an entangling alliance that they had no benefit in immersing themselves in? Hundreds of thousands of Brits died because of the nazi invasion of Poland, not because they were defending Britain itself. That doesn’t make any sense to me. We have been warned against this but have ignored it. Britain would have been alot better off just staying out of that nonsense…would have saved themselves alot of lives and money. I equate zionist influence in Britain with what the zionists are now doing in America. They have us joined at the hip with Israel and are leading alot of Americans to die in foreign wars that we have no business in.

      WWII buffs keep in mind the US did not declare war on Germany. Germany declared war on the US. Our declaration of war was against the Empire of Japan. FDR was an anglophile and routed supplies to the UK.

      Does any think that Russia will engage in a war with the US. I was in junior high school during the Cuban Missile Crisis. My dad’s unit deployed for the invasion of Cuba. In the end, the then Soviet Union backed down.

      Look at a map, Russia has 3 avenues of approach to move troops to Iran. While not ideal choke points, the routes are confining. The Russian attack through the Fulda Gap still remains the significant threat.

      Another look at a map shows the difficulty for China to send military to Iran. Their choice is two sea routes: the Pacific via the Sea of China and an invasion of India to gain access to the Bay of Bengal. There is one land route. One of the big issues is will the Russians honor safe passage through non-European Russia. Russia and China have had ongoing border clashes for years.

      Russia and China both know, the US is capable of interdicting any of these routes, in particular any sea route. On top of that, we do have a holding force in Afghanistan that would prove to be trouble.

      The nuclear threat is the threat of last resort for Russia and China. If ti comes to that, the world is gone. Mutually Assured Destruction is still the last card to be played and all the players know it.
