What Beauty Product Did the Obama Campaign Spend $10,000 on in Feb?

The Chicago branch of the Obama campaign spent $10,000 on nail polish in the month of February, according to the campaign’s latest report.
Though critics of the administration say its spending habits are out of control, this purchase is part of an understandable campaign endeavor: fundraising. The plan is to turn around and sell the bottles in packages of 3 for $40, with the hope of engaging small donors.

The polishes, designed by Richard Blanch Of Le Métier De Beauté, first made an appearance as part of a “Runway to Win” campaign event in February in New York City.
According to Politico:
Overall, the Obama campaign, through their joint DNC account, has spent more than $750,000 on campaign merchandise in February — one way of keeping low dollar supporters engaged with the campaign and driving up overall contribution numbers. It’s part of how the Obama campaign can truthfully say that 97.7 percent of February’s contributions were small donors, even as big donors maxing out at $35,800 are the real fundraising goldmine for the campaign.
