Think you know guns?  Think again. The Blaze headed out to the National Rife Association’s (NRA) 141st convention in St. Louis this past weekend and was blown away at the gadgets, gurus, and yes, guns, that descended on the convention.

We, along with thousands of others, captured the flashiest new gun gear and, just as fascinating, the people there to celebrate the Constitutional right of gun ownership in America. What exactly did we find? Lots of guns for starters. But there were also the Bra Holster, .22 belt buckle, golden Tommy Gun and .50 caliber diamond studded necklace, zombies and a stunning number of women (and pink guns).

By the way, The Blaze wasn’t the only one to notice the increased presence of women at the convention and in the gun industry. The Daily Beast dedicated an entire article to it.

“We want everyone to be a member of the NRA,” spokeswoman Stephanie Samford said in response.

      You‘re assuming they don’t know how to shoot and that they’re bimbos. Admittedly I don’t find them attractive, but they may be capable since they’re clearly not hot. Anyway, lots of women are hot and can shoot.       I like the tac pants also, and was not insinuating that everyone that wears them is a poser. Lots of folks wear them. Just saying that when you go to Shot Show and those type events (to include many gun shows), you see the want to be cool guys walking around.

      Kind of like all the crap that has the word “tactical” on it. Most of it aint.

Google the mounted shooting champion and you’ll find one extremely attractive blonde who not only shoots a six gun very well, she does it from horseback. Then there‘s the case of the Florida beauty queen who’s home was broken into and was attacked. When her fiance tried to stop the attack, the attacker turned on him. This gave her just enough time to get her little pink framed 38 special and empty it into the attacker thereby ending the assault.

      Edit to say….The people who know us gravitate toward us and always seem to comment on our love and affection for each other. Her Grandfather, Father, Mother, Sisters, Son and Uncle all tell me that they have never seen her happier……Regardless however of what anyone else thinks, her love for me is the only answer I will ever need.       As for being a man and learning from my father, well, he‘s an ignorant twit who’s always going off on people behind there back with a knee jerk reaction to something he had no real knowledge of.       Perhaps I was just raised different, and aint quite with the modern day times. There are certain names that if one were to call my wife these names, then I would do my best to stomp them until guts come out their mouth. If I feel that strong about others using those names for my wife, then I guess it would be wrong for me to call her the same. In these modern times, very few boys are raised to be men. Very few are instructed in practical rifle marksmanship, how to be a gentleman, how to treat a lady, how to read and study the Bible…. Thus the reason we have a nation of punk men that voted for Obama, and have no spine.

      Let’s face it, pretty much everybody realises that the White House BC is a forgery. The fact that Mr Obama’s lawyers now admit it is pretty telling. It will be interesting to see where it goes from here. There will be a lot of political arm-twisting in the near future, that’s certain.

      the problems is that most of what you see on here is not “a woman that can handle a firearm”. It is bimbos holding a firearm.

      I am a huge 2nd amendment fan, and NRA member. I see a trend in America with what I call “gun people”. They buy their ARs, and Glocks, and they love to pose in pics, talk tough, and burn through ammo. The reality is thought, if you put them on the range, most can not hit a bull in the butt with a base fiddle. Rare are marksman that are skilled at shooting. Instead of seeing a pic of some “hottie”, I would rather see pics of someone giving real deal safe marksmanship to men, women, and kids. Most would do well to leave the zombie guns alone, and pick up a good old fashioned .22, and learn a little about sights and trigger (what marksmanship is all about).

      Youtube is loaded down with clips of Bubba taking his wife beater clad bimbo to the range, and handing here the 44 mag, and watching here get smacked in the face from the recoil. I see no entertainment in all of this, and think these types are doing more to hurt gun ownership, then help.

    Now we have to keep the NRA and ILA funded to fight for our rights. If Sweet Old Barrack get reelected his first executive order will make owning any magazine that holds more thar 5 rounds illegal. Then he is going to issue one that will have a 7-14 day waiting period to pick up your gun after you fill our the paperwork, and he will try to repeal state right to carry laws.

      I think most of us have already stocked up on 20 and 30 round magazines and ammo for our assault rifles and high capacity pistol magazines. If not, find some room in your budget. The last ban was a joke because there were so many pre ban magazines on the market. I fully believe Obama will attempt to make them illegal to even possess if he is reelected.

      I will save my ammo for the right time. Once in a while I’ll tap into a couple hundred rounds and practice, No sense in burning through all that lead in a couple hours unless its taking out thy enemy. I know what I can hit, how far & how effective my fire can be.

      Its good to see our 2d amendment alive and well. If guns & hi cap mags are outlawed, then I will be an outlaw. but i doubt it!

      I play woodsball (paintball) with my friends and one day someone brought their buddy who had a polished aluminum paintfield gun. We could see that guy shining in the dim light from 50 yards out so everyone opened up on him at once. We couldnt tell if we were hitting him so we just kept going until he screamed for us to stop. He had so many welts it looked like he was covered in ringworm sores. He learned a valuable lesson about concealment that day.

    At the 2:26 mark when “Paper Planes” starts up is she holding a FN SCAR decked out in pink camo? If so, blasphemy!! At least that one dude had a FS2000 – been salivating over one of those for a couple years. The Hello Kitty AR-15s are a disgrace. I was surprised that I didn’t see anyone with an ACR (Although I would stick with FN any day)

      They are more likely to levy extra taxes and create more paperwork to try making owning a gun too much of a hassle and too expensive.

      Spot on,i really dont think the left realizes,that physically trying to take our guns,would result in massive blood loss for a lot of people,and not necessarly gun owners.Even the military wouldnt be foolish enough to try and disarm legal gun owners,though i would like to see them,hit the hoods, and get all the guns from the crack heads,either by hook or by crook.

      I agree. It is easy to say you will fight them when you don’t necessarily have to at the time…HOWEVER….I know I will do the same thing Decendentof56 will do. I have talked myself into it and there is no other way now.

      I agree. And if more women wore a pistol in their bra holster, the incidence of rape would drop dramatically.

      My thought went back to the young recent widow holding her baby & on the phone with the 911 operator. Asking permission to shoot an intruder to protect her baby & herself..without that protection and probably influenced by her husband to know how to shoot a gun saved her life & the life of her baby. I am very grateful my x husband introduced me to his love of guns & target practicing.

      Hell, they are all ‘pretty’ in their own way as far as I am concerned. Okay, maybe some of those Austro-Hungarian revolvers of the late 1800s might be an exception. Had they only known of Browning’s perfect pistol grip angle then.
