Someone else said today that Glenn is weak and invites attack because he responds directly. They suggested Rush has the right approach, he just attacks harder, instead of responding. Works for Rush, it should work for Glenn too.

If GB did this he’d be criticized for being a Limbaugh clone…..frankly GB’s approach/style whatever you want to call it, is part of the charm of the show…it’s his and his alone so why on earth would someone change their approach on a show that is number 1 in the time slot ? Doesn’t make any sense. Rush is Rush..GB is ummmm GB, there is room enough for both.

That’s a good stab at it. Someone at GlennBeck.com made the comment about there being more than one way to skin a rabbit. Thought that was clever, too.

I’ve been pondering lately – is it possible to teach someone to think outside of the box if it doesn’t come naturally? You know, like the book he told us about where only 10% are survivors. That’s my husband. He automatically looks for EXIT signs at places we go to… things like that. Not me. And although he shares these thoughts as they come to him, they still don’t ever just pop into my head first.

I’m trying though, Glenn! I so badly want to get it.

I’m sorry but Glenn Beck is an idiot. It doesn’t matter how important his message is (or thinks it is), it will always be lost in his asinine delivery. Whether it’s bunnies, chainsaws, or puppets hanging from strings. Nobody will take him seriously when he acts like a complete fool. Or just plain crazy.

You may not like the delivery but the facts are the facts….the info provided is researched and verified. As far as I know GB’s show is one of the few to make that claim. His opinions are his own…..one must be able to separate the two which is easy to do on the GB propgram but nearly impossible to do on any of the left wing stations and web sites.

I‘m denying the fact that he’s mostly correct and that he employs some of the best researchers. But if he’s trying to educate those who are still in the dark, he really needs to at least come off as a sane individual. Maybe then he won’t be so easily made a fool on every other show (Jon Stewart, Colbert, etc).

If your standard for humor (sanity whatever) revolves around Stewart and Colbert then I don;t know what to tell you. Gb isn;t a professional comedian…sometimes his jokes are a little odd but I‘d hardly call anything that he’s done insane…if anything the left will use and play up (out of context) anything he does no matter how he delivers it…GB is doing it his way and I find it amusing when it’s meant to be. You should watch the show for a solid week and then report back. I bet you’l have a wholly dofferent perspective and likely (if you are honest with yourself) a healthy amount of suspicion about the left wing reporting of what he says does which rarely matches the left’s desription of the events

Really Glenn???? You are losing me pal. I have been a loyal watcher/listener but lately I find myself clearing my DVR of many more unwatched episodes after viewing the monologue. The same goes for live audiences because your whole tone changes to an unbelieveable ‘Mr. Roger‘s Neighborhood’-ish tone. Your ratings must be slipping as well because I haven’t heard you mention anything about them lately. Get back to exposing the progressives for who they are and leave the bunnys to Mr. Fudd.

But each time he gives a ‘shout-out‘ to the bloggers they inch a little closer until they get a whole show ’dedicated’ to them.

Promise one thing and give you something totally different as the progressives have done for ever. Or at least that is what I got out of it, like he says always watch the other hand while he misleads the country with “propaganda” that “oh yes I‘ve learned my lesson and I’m going to listen to the people now“ and ”No I’m not a liberal trying to transform the country”.

It all a diversion, to keep the masses confused while they get more of their framework in place.

Do you remember the time he had the frog on the set? The discussion was how a frog can sit in the water and as it gradually gets hotter the frog doesn’t notice, won’t jump out, and then it’s boiled. The lefties had a field day with that show. I think he was working the same with the rabbit. Think he wants to stir the lib pot some more.

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.” That lesson springs to mind every time a comedian whose shtick relies on hoaxes and audience-baiting—or a political pundit who traffics in shock and hyperbole—gets hauled in front of the court of public opinion for pushing the act too far.

PETA nor anyone should have found a problem with tonight’s show. Did you see how he cared for that little bunny rabbit through that hour? No matter what the verbage and props prepared for this, he cared for that animal during the show and kept it calm. Definitely far from an evil villian. He proved that it’s all about deeds, not words.

      rogue, Trees Explain Answer?
For all the craziness PETA has shoved across our eyes and ears, they ought to admire Beck’s antics. I always appreciate the guests Glenn features, this bunny and the chainsaw are no exceptions. Let us see… is he going to suggest hard-times are coming, it is time to put the rabbit stew over a hardwood fire, severed with a side of rabbit-food and ate on a plate made from a slice of a log. Or is he going to bark about tree rings and rabbit trails?. How the one keeps expanding year by year and the other just gets you lost. Will he pull a rabbit out of his log? Or is it, what you cannot cut, you hold, and you cut what you do not hold? Might the spin of concentric circles drive us all down the nearest rabbit hole?
