What Were Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Doing in the Oval Office Yesterday?

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — President Barack Obama might be powerful and well-known, but the White House got some Hollywood star power Wednesday: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stopped by for a chat with the chief executive.
The actors were spotted in the Oval Office by photographers waiting outside for the president to take off for a trip to Chicago.

The White House confirmed Pitt and Jolie were in town to screen Jolie’s movie about Bosnian war crimes at the Holocaust museum. They dropped by so the president could talk with Jolie about her work on preventing mass atrocities and combating sexual violence against women.
Pitt was seen sporting a cane, which he’s been using following a skiing injury.
It‘s not the first time Obama’s met with one of the pair. In 2009 the president met with Pitt to discuss his working rebuilding New Orleans’ Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina.
Jolie also met with CIA Director David Petraeus at the agency’s headquarters. Jolie wanted Petraeus’ perspective on cultural trends in Afghanistan for her work with Afghan refugees, an official close to the former U.S. commander in Afghanistan said, speaking anonymously to discuss the private meeting. They had a similar meeting in Baghdad in 2008.
The meeting comes after Jolie recently admitted she was “disappointed” in Obama over a few things:

For her Obama‘s either not spending enough of America’s money, not her’s though, or he’s not moving fast enough on the liberal agenda. Either way it’s not good. Her father, Jon Voight, should have tanned her hide, or made her stand in the corner more often when she was young. Just maybe she would not have turned into a flaming liberal and a narcissist like Obama.

I liked what you had to say about foreign aid. I agree that our government should STOP just throwing money at problems thinking that will fix them. Working with so many humanitarian organizations I‘m sure by now you’ve seen the vast difference between “government assistance” and privately run charities and missions organizations. The same point can be made for many of our own national programs, wouldn’t you agree?
I also respect your endorsement of adoption. Too many babies are killed or abandoned in our world.
P.S. Your dad thinks Obama is a Communist. I tend to agree with your dad’s opinion.
