Editor’s note: In 2001 the Glenn Beck program was just beginning to gain a national audience. The program was based at WFLA-AM in Tampa and aired in the afternoon. Portions of that broadcast were part of a CD released a number of years ago. But for the most part the highlights in this video provide rare insight in the on-air moments of that day.

      Hammerdumb, if you‘re not sharp enough to see through Beck’s veil of horse manure, than I feel sorry for you, but don’t try and lay your crap on me and others just because you suffer from gullibility and ignorance. Beck is a laughing stock and a blubbering idiot and it shows every day he is on the air. His use of the horrible tragedy of 9/11 for his own self-promotion is disgusting.

It’s a national day of mourning and you have nothing better to do today then to air out your hatred of someone you probably never met in person. You are obviously not thinking about those who were murdered today 10 years ago. How about putting the booze down for a second and turn off Al Jazeera and think about your fellow citizens who should still be living if it weren’t for the evil of radical Muslims.       FACT: Joe Lieberman has distanced himself from Beck and will not be with him in Israel. (HE WASN’T!)
      FACT: Glenn Beck promoted the works of a known racist, Cleon Skousen.
      FACT: Glenn lost his credibility when he painted President Obama as a racist.
      FACT: Glenn has an extensive past history as a ruthless, mean-spirited, selfish drug-using boozer that tried anything to get ratings.
      FACT: Glenn discovered that by talking patriotism and God his ratings increased.
      FACT: Glenn claims that God talks to him and directs his actions and that “we will all see the ARM OF GOD in our lifetimes.” He claims Armageddon is near and is a member of a fringe religion started by a conman.
      FACT: Glenn is emotionally unstable and has broken down in tears and sobs on multiple occasions while on the air.
      FACT: Glenn urges people to buy antique coins at highly inflated prices from Goldline.
      FACT: Glenn lost hundreds of advertisers and the support of many mainstream conservatives by his crazy talking

Geeze if you search “hate glenn beck” anybody will find millions of links, a majority of which are blogs and cropped YouTube clips You do know this forum is a Glenn Beck product and that by even visiting it you are supporting it, right? There are more of us who support Glenn Beck that post here than those who are on your side. I suggest The Huffington Post might be more to your liking. BTW, thanks for dishonoring the dead. I really hope it helped to make their day. It is a day of respect and mourning for normal humans and it has been, reguardless of the ones that tried to ruin it.

      but neither are we. All the animosity they pour out only serves to strengthen our resolve. So I guess it

      TIF, wow. I had no idea what you were talking about until I googled Glenn Beck and 9/11 families and it’s so clear. I listened to the audio. He clearly said he hates, like, 10 of the 9/11 families that he sees on the news all the time talking about how they want or need more! That bastard!

      Seriously, I’d never heard that comment before and I spent all of 1 minute, 21 seconds researching it and found out it’s full of crap. So do you actively avoid facts or has it just never occurred to you to try to find them?

    To say that 9/11 changed America is a gross understatement. It could well prove to be the lynchpin in a series of events that will determine the course of American history in the 21st century. Like the aggression and rise of nationalism in the early 20th century, which led to World War I, World War II, and the Cold War with it’s Korean and Vietnam wars, the 9/11 attacks and the Islamic Jihadism that spawned them will have lasting and profound effects on America for generations.

      - Reagan (I am one of his biggest fans), showed them how to do it when he stared down Ghaddafi and Russia, but he blinked after Beirut
      - Bush 41 never follow-ed through
      - Clinton had Osama on a platter and this all escalated on his watch
      - Bush 43 – drew a line in the sand, but did not annihilate the enemy which allowed them to regroup. He allowed political pressure to prevent our guys from waging war
      - Obama is aiding and providing comfort to the enemy

      If I were President on 1/20/2012, the notice would go out to all Muslim Nations. Give up the bad guys or go down with the ship. The full force of the US Military is about to unleash holy hell on all of you. We should be done *****-footing around with this.

    I am watching the Memorial on Fox and am appalled that Obama and Bush just split the scene before they finished reading the B’s and just after the time the second plane hit.

    I am disgusted by this whole charade.

Praying for forgiveness as Jesus taught us is the right thing to do as difficult as it is when I see the hatred being spewed against good honest American citizens who love this country and want to spare it the insanity, stupidity and arrogance (Glenn’s words in this audio) that even now is being promoted against our country and our citizens. There are many ways to “kill” people. Taking away their dignity, their jobs, their hope, and their love and faith destroys a country from within. May we take our Heavenly Father ‘s hand who offers us grace and mercy and offer that to others.

    We are all born innocent little babies, then we learn to pick and choose, right and wrong. But if as a child you are tought to hate… it just comes part of your normal life. The tragedy of 9/11 is we all suffered as Americans. As we look for the future persn to run our country I listen to them cussing and name calling… its like I’m in the hood listening to gang members! this is sad… we have a proud country. No we have Hoffa saying war among each other the TEAPARTY really? We may not agree with everything they say on both sides, I find it rather degrading that this has even come to be aired in Public! I am a proud american… when we have enough respect for our selves then we typically have enough respect to hold our slandering tounge in public! Hoffa… really? I may die fighting for the right to pray and believe in my God. But no matter what this country was built on the values of being christ like. As we progress… some of them want was us to believe in the progressive idiodicy.

    Today, I bow my head and remember those lives lost in a TERRORIST ATTACK in OUR Country, it is my heart to pray for those who lost loved ones, so many times we think our lives are the worst. Today I pray to God, that he takes away the pain of there losses. To know many of these people share his shadow in Heaven, the souls how were taken are at peace, This is a day to REMEMBER for EVER. GOD BLESS THOSE WHO LOSS, AND GOD BLESS THOSE WHO FOUGHT FOR OUR FREEDOM,,, Amen

    Glenn always paraphrases Jesus in that “Ye shall know them by their acts.” Well, those who question Glenn’s authenticity or what is in his heart have their answer by who he was on that day. What he chose to say in that moment when he had the public ear could just as readily incited hatred rather than the compassion and prayerful reflection that his words conveyed. Who you are under pressure is what is inside you. One can see what is inside Glenn Beck on 9/11/2001.

      Mr. Beck held rallies in support of the war in Iraq.

      Well said, we are either at our best, or worst when the world comes apart in our lives. The first thing he thought of was prayer, and that said it all. There was no hatred and blame, just compassion.

      Sooooooo? One holds rallies in support of our troops in time of war. That’s what we do. That’s what gives our soldiers the support they need to fight a good fight. Yes he supported the Iraq War as did I. Hatred short lived? You really don’t listen or watch him outside of left leaning sound bites do you? You probably didn’t even listen to this recording. You call it hatred. Common sense people call it information, not hate. I’ve read your posts under other stories and quite frankly you are a bore and not very articulate. It’s amazing how on a day of national mourning, like Brian Williams, you want to bring politics or deep seeded misguided hatred into the conversation.

      On the west side of this county, there are several farming communities. I travel through there often in the winter time on my way to exercise my 2nd amendment rights and hunt. I had heard that on 9-11 several of the muslim store owners threw candy in the streets while dancing after the towers came down. Upon hearing that, I took my trusty partner, a 90 lb. yellow lab with a head like a bear, out to pay those store owners a visit. You should have seen the look of terror on their faces when confronted by a freedom loving American with a small, yellow bear at his side, tugging at the leash. Wimps.

      It’s not terror, if you’re not terrorized.

      My flag is flying today along with a red/white/blue ribbon. At the courthouse we will have a memorial from ‘Cry out America”, which is taking place across the country. God bless those family members, friends. God bless the USA.

      i have a flag at home flying correct 1 my son serves in the army 2 this country no matter what its problems is still great in my heart. and there are flags on my truck they are upside down for the distress we are in and i show the public my flags everywhere i go

    It is very clear that the freedom loving patriots of this nation are under attack not from Muslim Radicals, but from our own politicians. They are turning up the hatred between races, class warfare, union against non-union, nationality against nationality. The left insist that everything now is the TEA Party`s fault. The TEA Party consist mainly of white Americans, the attacks from Black Politicians on the left are now a dailey accurance. Remember the fallen on 9/11 yes, but remember that we are now in a battle for our own freedom and the future of our children. These folks on the left in the White House do not plan on going down without a fight and that`s exactly what is going on in our country. It will get much worst. Be prepared.

    Remembering and honoring those who gave their lives for their fellow Americans on their own soil. That day there were no “hyphen-Americans”; we were united as one nation, under God in our prayers for those lost and their families as well as asking God’s everlasting mercy and continued blessing on this great country. Even Lady Liberty in the harbor dropped to her knees in prayer with lifted hand to God giving witness to the light given us in a dark world…the light of freedom. God bless America!!

Like they have tried to block out the Holocaust saying it never happened, so they will do with 9-11, blaming it on a myriad of factions rather than on the truth.

    Interesting, we had an appointment in a town about 40 minutes away that morning. We were still home when the first plane hit and had to leave to get to the meeting. We listened to Glenn on the radio on our way. When we arrived at our destination, a TV was on and we saw the first tower fall. There was silence all around as no one could say anything! What horror we saw—-I will never forget regardless of those who have nothing but hate to speak about President Bush and his amazing way of dealing with this horror. Just glad it was George Bush who was our President and not the bozo we have now! He would have been on the golf couse and too busy to deal with the horror!

      Mr. Bush was wonderful on that day, I found out recently. I wasn’t paying attention to politics, what was going on in the world, etc. when the Towers , Pentagon and the plane in the field went down. 10 years later, thanks to Glenn Beck, I AM paying attention, I DO know what is going on in the world. I wanted to hear what Glenn’s reaction was and what he had to say on 9/11 and thanks to the Blaze, I know now.
