‘Delusional’: Fiery Greta Attacks Allred‘s ’Rotten’ Arguments in Whitman Maid Case

Fox News’ Greta van Susteren invited attorney Gloria Allred to defend her allegations against California Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman. Allred represents Whitman’s former housekeeper who alleges Whitman employed her illegally.
In a fiery discussion on Susteren’s “On the Record,“ the host accused her guest of being ”unthinkable“ and ”rotten” by bringing this issue to light, especially right before an election.
“You’re getting your client deported by putting a big neon sign, ‘Hey, I’m here illegally, I signed documents falsely, and I’ve done that under penalty of perjury,’” scolded Van Susteren.

Before you burn Allred at the stake, however, come to a few painful truths: 1st, Meg could have…should have…come clean on this in June and controlled the spin. She has no one to blame but herself for serving this up to the opposition on a silver platter. A rank, amateur, mistake. 2nd, she has totally mismanaged this from day one, demonstrating either a shocking naivete or a level of arrogance that she would forever avoid public disclosure of this issue.

Posted on October 3, 2010 at 8:51amIf Meg never saw the document, where is the spin? If the husband read it and gave it to the housekeeper without saying anything to Meg? Where is the spin from Meg? If she had no knowledge of it, then to her, the “never received the document” statement is accurate. Even if she asked her husband about it after this story broke and the husband said ” I don’t remember getting it”, then where is the spin in Meg’s response? When you say that she should have “come clean” on this in June, you are assuming that she had knowledge of this when there is NO EVIDENCE that she did. There’s probably better evidence that Allred and Pelosi are sisters! They look similar enough and seem to have the same moral character.
2nd, How did she mismanage this? By denying that she received a document when there is no evidence stating otherwise? What’s the 2nd option here?
Allred’s plan will backfire. She’s just not as good as she thinks at Alinsky tactics.

It was a work of art and clearly exposed Allred, not Whitman, as incompetent and disingenuous. Why 4 weeks before the election is this now an issue? Clearly, a feeble attempt to smear Whitman. I hope California voters see through this smokescreen and vote Whitman and not Brown.

Report Post »The issue should be how easy it is for illegals to get SS# and DLs and IDs from the government at various levels.
But it is hell for employers who have no way of verifying if the documents an applicant has submitted are stolen . Not forged, not mismatched, but STOLEN.
It says something about our system that illegals know how and where to get “documents ” but employers have no way to find out if the said “ documents” are stolen or frauds .
And even when employers find out that an employee is illegal, the employee can’t be fired although the employer is supposed to be punished.
Even when employers use employment agencies whose job it is to verify the background and legality of the applicants,
even when employers ask applicants to submit copies of ID and DL and SScard .with their applications,
there are no guarantees that the government issued IDs /SScard/DL will be genuine.
Government IS the problem.
Even after a forgery / stolen ID is uncovered, no one punishes the illegal and those who sell SS# / DL , both within and outside the government agencies.
In our country , an employer has no way to find out if an applicant / employee is illegal.
In our country , an employer can be punished for employing an illegal.
In our country, an employer can be destroyed for working within the law and an illegal is rewarded for breaking every possible law.
In our country an employer is hauled off to jail for hiring as well as firing illegal employees,
but illegals can get public benefits from the government , based on the same set of documents.

Posted on October 2, 2010 at 3:32pmI watched the van Susteren interview and Ms. Alred’s blatant ignorance of the facts was astounding. Washington State Governor Gregoire used a similar tactic against her then opponent Dino Rossi during the last gubernatorial election; to the point where Democrat attorneys representing Democrat Clients filed a lawsuit and subpoenaed him to appear for a deposition the Friday before the general election. The same day he was scheduled to appear in a large rally and debate. Due to the lawsuit and press he lost. Interestingly enough the judge threw that case out and it was appealed. This week the Federal appellate judge also found in favor of Rossi, now running for US Senate here. Based on that, this Alred attack, the Grayson attacks, and other Democrat BS I’ve seen over the last week I am really disappointed at the state of American politics.

She hired this lady through an agency, was told she was legal, when the IRS sent the document stating there was a problem with the social security number matching the name they gave it the Nicki to check out why. After hearing the detail, this is definitely a smear. About the letter…the letter was first presented as a letter that told the Whitman’s she was an illegal alien when in fact the letter notified them there was a discrepancy that needed resolved, and that they could NOT use the letter to fire her. So when Whitman’s said they never got a letter stating she was an illegal alien, it was true.

The people will see through this one and Meg Whitman answered it well and there is nothing to it. The lady lied to get a job in 2000. She was lucky to have a good job and she got caught in her lie and Mrs. Whitmen fired her as she would have to do in any case. Posted on October 4, 2010 at 1:14pmI can’t stand Gloria Allred – her methods OR her madness – I just wish this would have come out sooner and maybe a real Constitutional Conservative like Carlene Nightingale would have had a chance to win the governor’s seat in CA. We know what Jerry would do, and Meg has pretty much shown her hand to be “more of the same” since Pete Wilson is the puppet-master behind Schwarzenegger and has now moved on to Meg’s camp – if you listen you can hear the ventriloquist (Wilson) speak whenever Meg’s lips move. California is in REAL trouble, but Meg will just push us over the edge.
