I love how these tools are just now beginning to wake up. You have been lied to for years, they never intended to give you the money, they have been stealing it for 20 years. Its called a PONZI scheme you idiot. Your first clue was in the name Social Security. Just think how much better off you would be today if you didn’t have to pay Social Security and Medicare from your check every week. Are you reaching for that vasoline yet, because you have been getting anal probed all your working life.

What we are now seeing is the train wreck of ideology colliding with reality. There is something in this universe called natural law and like it or not, “Thou shall not violate natural law”. Smart lawyers won’t help and there is no appeal. The laws of economics are very much part of natural law.

Let me opt out. Keep everything I’ve paid in and pay me no benefits. Just let me keep my money. Where in the Constitution does the Federal Government get the authority to pay ANY welfare? What happened to self-reliance? I take care of myself and my family. If an emergency happens that’s not covered by private insurance, I go to my savings. If that won’t cover it, I go to my extended family, then my church, then private charities and donations. As a last resort, to my local city council and finally to my State representatives. NEVER to the Federal Government. Each state should have provisions for the emergencies that happen in those states. Tornadoes, floods, and earthquakes are horrible disasters, but if I choose to buy or build a house in a flood plane in Iowa, Arizona should not be forced to pay for me when I’m flooded, but voluntary donations and private charities are always welcome.

The root of the SSI problem lies in congress robbing the Social Security coffers and putting funds collected into the general fund. That was fraud pure and simple. They collected funds under false pretenses.

Now they have spent the money on frivolous BS and now want to rob the remainder of the SSI funds.
Of course congressmen have their big pensions. Do away with congressional pensions. Set strict term limits, career politicians are the big problem in this country. Let them actually work for a living.

Oh dang! Caught in double speak, again. AARP sold its members out when it jumped on the Obamacare bandwagon. Funny how all those big evil insurance companies (Hartford) get millions of dollars from AARP members and AARP honchos get kickbacks for recommending them. Same with medigap insuranceAARP is the largest provider, how neat is that? Crony capitalism with a socialist twist.

  AARP is just another big parasite sucking life from seniors. The good news about AARP is that the membership numbers they spout are bogus. Apparently they never update membership list to keep their numbers up. I paid dues one time…..membership ran out 3 years ago, still get e-mails, offers, magazines, from them.

People need to get it through their heads that they have been brainwashed into believing they paid into something. People need to face the reality that these programs are welfare and nothing more and its time for people to get off of welfare, young and old. The progressives worked very hard to make us believe it was something it wasn’t and grew this thing over time to the monster it is today. Time to become self sufficient, prepare for the future and take care of your own. this debate is driving me crazy!

  When I was growing up, I had such high hopes for us because of how quickly technology was advancing and how wealthy each citizen was becoming compared with the previous generations. I thought everybody was “getting” it.
  
  But alas, people have become extremely lazy as a result of the “good life”, and they’re not nearly as bright as generations gone by, on average. That means progressive propaganda is going to be evermore difficult to combat, as this health care sham proves.

  In my opinion, we don’t care what your opinion is! SS has been raided by all the progressives, we need a true lock box, no more IOU’s, that would restore SS…as to Medicaid and Medicare, shut them down! It is all hands on deck to fix America, and socialist policies are no longer welcome here. Privatize Medicare, abolish Medicaid, we can do this by eliminating the progressive income tax system and install a fair consumption tax. Get all the gamers of the system back to work. This whole system has become a travesty to freedom and hard work.
